    Damaged air filter

I have multiple issues with a vehicle I purchased upon delivery- multiple interior pieces broken, an aftermarket air filter that should use oil with no oil so it's not filtering, had a significant trans noise and crawled under the vehicle. The cause of the noise is the drive shaft is binding however I did find a leak on the tail shaft of the trans. This was all upon arrival. I was not initially concerned because I had not put many miles on the vehicle, maybe 15 miles or so at the time. And some issues were there immediately (broken interior parts) so I just communicated these issues to the dealer confident they would assist. I was shocked to quickly learn that they were not going to do anything and I have screen shots to prove how one thing was said and nothing done. For days after the sale trying to communicate issues and was informed "we will show this to our service department" Laughable that their service department advised that it's normal for components to "sweat" I work in a service department and that's the most creative term I've hear for a leak. lol. Seep is when there is oil stain on the metal but dear lord not a collection of fluid that is collecting dirt and slinging fluid on the underneath of the car. Sweating. ‍ Part of what the salesman boasted about was how thorough the service inspection was and the biggest reason I decided to purchase. I asked - I thought you guys checked this, remember how proud you were to show me the invoices ? Like they weren't just added to the price of the car? (I have pictures and screenshots) and This is a king ranch expedition and I'm just blown away how poor this has been. i even asked about the exchange program because the car is so bad, and was actually hopeful to get rid of this truck the exchange program (which is amazingly terrible) because that's not what it is - unless you just want to pay mark up twice on what your returning and then given a price on an alternative which is so high you wouldn't do it in your right mind so that's your "exchange" option. I've had far less issues with other transactions in the last met with much more urgency and more importantly -a resolution! What a concept ! The only bright side is that at-least this will hopefully be the worst experience I'll have during the remainder of my time on earth. Lesson learned and it's the hard way - wouldn't do business with Kelly ford ever again. I've had bad dealer issues once or twice (or so I thought) maybe not bad just not ideal to start with. This one takes #1 by a margin There's too many good dealers to use someone who literally leaves you hanging. Shame on you Kelly Ford. Do better. Do not bother responding to this review because I'll just post the screen shots of texts where I texted you guys the issues and exactly what you told me. I have receipts

WARNING. Just the facts in my opinion: Full video up on YOUTUBE. search "Kelly Ford Service review" 1. brought truck in for RECALL. 2. four hours later realized ambient temp sensor/ac did not work. Thinking maybe when they attached the computer something got a glitch. 3. called Kelly ford. they said to disconnect battery to reset. But that didn't work. 4. said to rush back before 2pm if I wanted help. I did. 4. they said my bumper was hit (see photo). 5. Steve Roth, raphael, pete the tech, and Jeremy Collin's were rude, dismissive, phlegmatic, and , in my opinion exhibited a very clear bias and incentive to claiming it was my fault which they had no way of knowing at the time. They had not reviewed the dealership video (THAT HAS BLIND SPOTS). PLUS. my dash cam shows how carelessly they drove my truck into a crowded garage. Nonetheless, it wasn't about he broken sensor (because without tedious hours of CSi level investigation it wasn't likely whom would be responsible) No folks, it was about the "sl...zy" demeanor of the crew that berated me when i exercised common sense and logic and tried to get to the bottom of how to resolve this. They gouge us at $194/ hour and i think they jack the the part costs. This was the third strike for Kelly Ford. Strike one: brought my truck in for clicking noises (hybrid) and they had no idea ( I figured it out on line), Strike Two: I ordered touch up paint for scratches (they said 10 days ) and I never heard from them again. Strike 3: They did NOT have 100% certainty on how the sensor broke but immediately took the position that it was my fault and quoted me between $730 plus parts to $1400 . Look at the bumper! These are experts? Any auto body guy could give a solid price and thats where I suggest you go. do NOT use Kelly Ford. ex: Oil change with Tire rotation $140 (full synthetic) . Tire kingdom? same exact service $88.

Extremely dissatisfied with the situation we are encountering currently at Kelly Ford. We purchased our truck here 10 years ago and are being denied a repair that is under recall. The situation could be easily amended but we continue to waste time and energy bouncing between the local and corporate departments. We love to support local franchises but we will not be returning to this dealership for our family car needs in the future.

Shut down completely in the middle of the Highway. This was a scared moment of my life. I called the tow truck company; Premier Towing and Transport, they with came less than 20 mins. I still can't believe they came that fast. I called Assured Auto and explained to JD what happened to my truck. I was heading home back to Tallahasee from vacation. JD told me to get the truck tow there. We got there at 2:35pm. They completed a full diagnostics. They noticed some bolts was loosen on my Alternator. They tighten it. They also noticed something no connection to the car giving out of power. JD suggested for me to go back to the Auto shop who completed the work because of warranty JD took picture of it and printed it out to give to the Shop. Truck was Tested drive it no more power issues. I was back on the road by 4:30pm. I'm so grateful for them to get me in and out so quickly. They also have Complementary varieties of soft drinks for their customers and when you leave, they write a personal note with a blow pop sucker. This was so sweet. With what's going on in the world, it's the small things like this can bring a big impact on someone's life. Again, super grateful. Best customer services I've received in years at an Auto Shop. I wish there were closer in case I need them again.

As time went on the truck's performance went down. I am not a mechanic, and it was time for professional help. We had our car service at Farlow Automotive back in March. Farlow made our six-year-old car run like new. The work done on our car was great, so I proceeded to take my truck to Farlow. Trusting in an automotive shop these days is rare, but I felt I was dealing with an honest establishment. I drop my truck off and tell them to fix everything that needs fixing. Anyone who knows me will tell you this is not like myself to make this kind of statement. The mechanic assigned to my truck was Ralph. I went down after a few days to talk to Ralph, and he told me what needed fixing. We have a little back and forth and it dawns on me that Ralph knows his "Stuff"! Also, he loves working on old vehicles. Ralph, shows me the work completed up to this point and what else has to be done. He shows me a vacuum leak coming from the manifold and tells me this is affecting the engine's performance. To tell you the truth I did not know about the truck running on a vacuum system. Ralph goes through the truck, flushes the radiator, flushes the transmission installed new filter, changed cap, wirespoints and plugs, flushes the brake fluid, fixes my power steering problem by adding a new belt just for the power steering pump and a whole bunch of necessary work. Now my truck is running like new, it is like I dropped off a 4 cylinder, and they gave me back an 8 cylinder. In closing all I can say that if you are looking for an honest shop look no further. Not only are they honest but very friendly, which I like, there is a good vibe at Farlow. Make sure you ask for Ralph, he is an all-star in my book.

Let me start at the beginning…read more Thurs. Aug 14, 2025: My 2003 Toyota Tundra overheated driving up 95 at around 70 MPH (or close to that speed - grin). I immediately pulled over and shut off the engine - I knew I had a small water leak as I had to add a little water every couple of days. I just hadn't gotten ARTI (around to it) to fix it. Oh yea, I restarted the engine just long enough to see if it had seized - it had not. Since I was closer to Rockledge than to my truck's normal mechanic, Farlows Automotive, located in Melbourne, I had it towed to Schlenker's. The Brevard Towing driver restarted it and drove onto the Jerry-Dan tow bed. Now BTW, I'd use Schlenker's numerous times - Before Schlenker's Was Sold. For those past visits to Schlenkers, work was done on my truck, my sisters car,and my wife's car. The work was the usual, some regular maintenance, and even some major work. - please remember, this was before the shop was sold. For the work they performed over several years, I was very satisfied, even happy, with their work (and cost!). Fri. Aug15th: I received a call from Schlenker's that consisted of "You need a new engine" and "it had no fluid in it". Well my reaction was $@%^. The "no fluid" to me meant water AND oil. OK, I forgot to mention, the rear seal had been weeping a little, but the cure of that was a lot more $$ than just adding a quart or so every 3000 mile oil change. Look, the truck had over 290k miles on her. Just a An rear seal replacement costs more than $,000 with engine removal/reinstall. A replacement if needed, would be range from north of $,000 to $0,000, if we could even find another Tundra engine. Anyway, this situation called for a second opinion - especially since the engine had been restarted by me, AND the tow guy when he drove it onto the tow truck. I called Farlow's and arranged for my truck to be towed to them over the weekend. I spent Saturday looking for a Tundra 4.7 liter engine. FINALLY found a used one in Calif. It came out of a truck with 140K miles on it - $2,400 delivered to Melb. Monday AUG 18th: Farlow's called me. The radiator was cracked and the seal for the thermostat housing was leaking. I had them do a compression check just to see - all eight cylinders were within spec. I said fix it. And I added a few other items to the work order. Tuesday AUG 19th: Fallow's called. My fabulous old truck was ready. They had replaced the radiator, new gasket for the thermostat, all new plugs and coils (#7 had been acting up), oil and filter change, checked and charged the AC, AND put in a new battery (old Diehard was over 4 yrs old) for less than the used engine would have cost delivered from Calif. I was grinning. Cost to be told I needed a new engine - $139.05 - wonder what the nickel was for...Taxes probably. Cost to cure - Less that the $$ for the ONLY engine I and the guys at Farlow's could find. They had searched on Friday, before actually seeing the truck. The final cure was A LOT less! Picture me GRINNING!
