Kelly's the most amazing dentist I've ever had. I always feel comfortable going into his office and he did such an amazing job. I literally never thought I would have a smile like I do. I thought the whole process was gonna be too painful and just too much for me to handle, but it wasn't he made it so I was able to get through the whole process and he himself as a dentist is a great person and good guy love this place. My family has been going to Dr. Cook for over a decade and love the care we get. In fact we'd never consider going to anyone else. Kelly Cook and his team have been my dental providers since 1998! Nothing has changed when it comes to their compassionate and knowledgeable care and everyone there seems to share a great sense of humor! I've never been hurt once in all these years and they run a very efficient office. Kelly is a rock and roll guy and has an amazing collection of vinyl, signed posters and guitars throughout the office, with classics playing in the background, which is a great distraction when you're having dental work done! Established in 1990.

Kelly Jorn Cook, DDS wanted to establish an environment that was fun. So many people fear the dentist, and loathe the corresponding drills and needles, that he wanted to create an anxiety-free office that patients looked forward to visiting. In the face of the increasingly prevalent dental "salon and spas," he didn't want to be a carbon copy of the feng-shui dental movement. He loves music - live music, local music, the music in his head - and how it brings people from all walks of life to the same playing field. He plays great music at the office, and provides headphone so you can listen to your own tunes to drown out the dreaded drill. The dentist is a very scary place to a lot of folks; so we try to distract you, put you at ease and make you feel like you're going someplace to hang out rather than the dental spa. While these goodtimes roll, we give your choppers the best service they have ever had when you "Tune Up Your Smile With The Doc That Rocks."

Meet the Business Owner: Kelly C.

A Kansas native and undergraduate of Kansas State University, he received his dental degree from the University of Nebraska in 1989. He completed advanced training in cosmetic dentistry, specializing in smile design and veneers. Kelly moved to the Southwest to open a dental practice in 1990. While providing the highest quality of dentistry, he creates an environment of more fun and less fear. Most patients call him Kelly or "doc", and "chair-side manner" is usually accompanied by a large smile and a big laugh. As a top dentist, Kelly has found the balance between being the doc that rocks and keeping it simple. What you see with the doc, is what you get; that being great dentistry and a really good time. The doc currently resides in the middle of the desert outside Maricopa. He enjoys live music (especially musical festivals and Widespread Panic), golfing, fishing, camping, classic cars, traveling and hanging out at home with his girlfriend, Holly, and their ten dogs.

When even talking about the Dentist I get queezy to start with. I have had a ton of dental work done in my lifetime, some by decent dentists, some not so good. I just got a 4 crowns replaced at this office and it was FAR AND AWAY the best dental experiance I have ever experianced. No wait, resonable fees, great people from the front office all the way thru the entire procedure. I was informed of what was going on and always asked how I was doing, and is there anything they could do to make the situation any better. The atmosphere is awesome, great music, REAL people, and tons of rock and roll stuff to look at in the office. Like I said before I am terrified of the dentist and have been for years. Dr. Cook perscribed some little blue pill that made most of my fear go away and the rest of it disappeared when I realized there was going to be NO PAIN ( Just as he promised !!) My dental experience was HANDS DOWN the best I've ever had! I HATE THE DENTIST! NOT NOW! "Kelly" and his staff are the nicest and most easy going, professional people that I have ever met. From Shannon and Holly, to Trixie, Sherrie and Joe in the back.........man!.....I am speechless! Talk about a team, let alone the best/most comforting dentist in the world! The office is a Hard Rock Cafe w/ a dental twist and let me tell you......from a dental phob......these people set it straight. Up front and honest, Dr. Cook and staff inform you how it is, will, and gonna be. The best is Dr. Cook does not pussy footing around my issues. I didn't want IV sedation or gas and he coached me out of it OVER VISITS. I WAS SCARED! His assistants are second to NONE!. Shannon hooked me up...Sherrie the hygienist is a goddess! Trixie made me laugh so hard, Joe followed up w/ good/nonsense humor. I sincerely love these people. Each time I come into this office it gets better and better. Love that I can play games while I wait. (Too bad the waits never too long.) I've been seeing the hygienist April for almost a year and she is really cool. She never makes me feel bad about my lack of flossing just explains the need to do it. Dr . Cook has never sugar coated treatment needs he expresses the concerned areas and list out the priorities. The front office staff have been will Kelly for many years and are always friendly when i walk in and make sure that when I leave I know cost of my treatment and make sure all my next appointments are book. I had such a great experience at this dental office! They were able to fit me in last minute, which I truly appreciated, and the entire staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and cared for. From the moment I walked in, everyone was friendly, professional, and genuinely kind. The dentist was absolutely wonderful--thorough, gentle, and took the time to explain everything clearly without making me feel rushed. It's not always easy to find a place that combines efficiency with such a warm, welcoming atmosphere, but this office really delivers. I have been going here since 2008...and I will be a patient of Dr. Cook's until he retired (at which point I will be devistated). The entire staff is compassionate, knowledgable and friendly. I have never even felt the injections before a procedure and he is both painless and fast. Prior to finding this office, I fear the dentist due to pain and that fact that I thought they were trying to upsell me out of my pocketbook. Dr. Cook's approach is an easy "here's why" approach and I am always shown actual photographs of my teeth and they have always worked with me financially and even helped me apply for carecredit when I needed it. This is the best experience I have ever had with a dentist! Every single person on the staff is helpful, kind and they know what they are doing. The atmosphere is laid back and you can tell that the employees love working there. I had a bad experience with another dentist a few years back, so I was hesitant to get any more work done. Dr. Cook and his staff put me at ease and did an excellent job! I had to get 5 fillings and there was no pain and it was done quickly, correctly and with a smile. I was seeking a second option and I found Kelly Cook in the Chandler Chamber directory. When I contacted the office, they were willing to work with me without dental insurance. I received a honest and friendly advice. Kelly went thru my xrays with me and explained the process. In addition, the staff was cheerful, friendly and goes the extra mile to make you feel at home. Plus, the added bonus is the rock and roll atmosphere. Needless to say I made the appointment with his office to have the work done. I've been going to Dr. Cook for 3 years. Took a long time to find a dentist who addressed my needs first. Other dentists were more concerned about maximizing my bill. It is a great feeling having a dentist whose professional opinion you can trust! He also runs an efficient office. I've never had to wait. In fact, the staff sees to it that I am in the chair early. They know me by name. One Sunday my temporary crown became loose. Within two hours I was back in the chair and all was well. (Thanks, Joe!!) Above and beyond! Each and every time I visit Kelly's office, the office staff is so helpful and nice! They seem to treat their patients like they are part of their extended family. They go over all treatment options with you, clearly state their recommendations, and always work around your schedule and financial situation to the best of their abilities! My family and I have been going here for years. Hands down the best dentist and dentist office I have been to. Dr. Cook is personable and a wiz at what he does, and Angelica and team are truly the most customer service-focused doctor's office staff I have encountered. Going to the dentist is anxiety-inducing, but the Doc that Rocks makes the anxiety just a little more tolerable. Just sit back and consume some Pink Floyd while you get your new filling. It's far better than listening to the best of the 80's Debbie Gibson compilation as you sit in the lobby in a cold sweat waiting far too long for your appointment. read more

Seriously cannot say enough about Dr. Cook's office. If it's possible to enjoy yourself at a dentist's office, somehow Dr. Cook and his staff managed to pull it off. From the CLASSIC arcade games (think Pac-Man) in the lobby to the incredibly friendly receptionists, dental assistants, and the dentist himself. it's a well-run office that definitely makes you comfortable for cleanings, fillings, whatever. More than that the procedures are quick, the technology current (sadly a novelty for my wife and I), and the billing process was surprisingly transparent and well explained. GREAT! I went in for two crowns, getting them done one at a time, due to financial strains. Dr. Cook did both for me in one day, and helped me set up a payment plan, despite the fact that my credit is bad and I make very little money. I have a slight dental anxiety, but as long as I see Dr. Cook, I know the dentist will actually be FUN. When he was done working on my teeth, I was honestly disappointed because I was having such a good time... I can't wait to go back! my husband and I have been patients of Dr. Kelly for many years now.. as soon as you walk in the door you feel at ease.. the whole team is amazingly friendly, quick to get me taken care of and in the chair.. Dr. Kelly is not the typical dentist.. he's friendly, doesn't rush, and is quick to get me in when I'm having a big issue.. he is up front about the cost, and doesn't over charge (in my opinion)... the music is great as well! Awesome... just.... Awesome. Dr. Cook and his staff are hands down the best medical staff I've ever had the pleasure of working with. They take the time to understand what is going on with your teeth and the time to educate you about your teeth. Dr. Kelly and his staff are always compassionate and make you feel at home. I was one of the many who don't like going to the dentist, but they are gentle and walk you through everything. He goes in depth with his patients about tooth and gum care, while staying real and understanding challenges people face. I have referred many people to his office and they always come back with a great experience. I can't say enough from the staff that welcomes you. To the staff of hygienist. I have to appreciate how everyone puts you at ease. It's great. They book your next appointment right in the chair so you don't have to think about checking out and making your next appointment. I've never gone in where they are not on time. the woman that checks you out she's fantastic. She always remembers exactly who you are and it makes you feel like you want be to come back. I have been going to Dr Cook for years, I love the front office personnel , they are always very welcoming. Dr Cook is an awesome dentist, but his way of making you feel like he really cares is even bette!!! Today I had a chipped tooth. I called to see when I could get in, I got an appointment for two hours later. I was 10 minutes late but they still took me right back. I was out of the office within 20 minutes and my tooth feels like it did prior to my incident. Love the Doc that rocks!! read more

Great pain management. I have fallen asleep while having my dental work done here! I love the rock theme too! Dr. Cook has been my dentist for over 10 years. I no longer live in Chandler but I still go here. I have had poor quality/painful dental work in the past and I have no problem driving from Phoenix to see a pleasant dentist who I know makes pain control/high quality dental work a top priority. The front office staff always greets me with a smile: Hello, how are you? Checks you in at record time! Never any waiting. The dental hygienists are always concerned how you are doing, if you're comfortable and well. Dr. Kelly is awesome! I just had my first appt with Dr Cook, his hygienist tech was super awesome. she explained everything she was doing, why and what she was seeing. Dr Cook came in and addressed my issues and his concerns and presented a doable plan with no aggressive salesman feel. They presented plenty of options and a way fwd and the entire staff was super friendly and helpful. This is definitely my new dental home and if you check them out it will probably be yours too!! read more
