Most of the staff has worked together in other salons before calling this place home. Angela is great and cuts both mine and my husband's hair. Sherrie cuts our kid's hair. The other stylists keep full chairs too. They are well informed about their techniques and the products they use and sell. They pay attention to what you ask for, give feedback if your goal is unrealistic or not quite suitable for your hair type/maintenance goals and they are happy to "fix" or adjust their cut or color in the rare event that it is not quite what you expected. My family has used one or more of these stylists for over ten years and various hair styles.

My visit began with an introduction. Salena is so friendly, you're instantly put at ease discussing what cut and color you'd like. Of course I went in with pictures from Insta and Pinterest that ran the gamut from long and sleek to short and punk. After a consultation, she gave me the perfect cut and color for my face shape and skin tone. I couldn't be more pleased. It's so flattering and everyone loves it. Also, I had several inches taken off, which I donated. She educated me on the different charities and helped me make an informed decision about which one I chose. (I had only ever heard of the big charity.) There was another stylist there and she was just as friendly and welcoming. Overall, if I could give this salon 10 stars I would. For context I called to schedule my first hair cut after 2 years battling cancer and 20 rounds of chemo. I specifically asked for someone who specialized in short haircuts/chemo hair and was assured I was in good hands. I communicated that I have been a full time performer for over 15 years and frequently have to be on stage or infront of cameras. I also explained I was wanting my hair shaped so it looked more presentable for an Air Force event. This salon left me feeling more robbed of my femininity, looks, and confidence than cancer or chemo ever did. The email exchange is with the salon owner after we spoke on the phone a little before 3 PM and I explained the situation. While she did apologize, there was a defensive, short tone on the phone. I'm including both of my emails as well as her response after they were already closed. She knew this was time sensitive and that we were leaving town early the next morning. 3 hours and end of business day passed with no follow up or solution. Google is free. I will say Lynne who I initially explained the situation to had a much kinder and compassionate demeanor than the others. Also, stress reduction is crucial for a cancer patient's health and recovery. This experience literally impacted my health as you can see in my monitor's analysis for the day. I will let the photos speak for themselves...

My friend called me and asked me to remove it cause she loves Jesus and she felt like my review was a bit to passionately personal and she didn't want the people who hurt her to be hurt emotionally or professionally. Because I respect and love my friend I took down the review. But I still wanted to leave a one star so no one else who has already suffered the unimaginable with cancer falls victim to this place. My friend has carried her battle with tremendous grace and bravery and she was about as sad as I've seen her yesterday. If you or anyone you love needs hair care while in recovery from cancer PLEASE go somewhere that has more skilled stylists, and maybe more importantly more compassionate ones.

I was so disgusted when I got back home, I pulled out my scissors and cut off 2" in the front myself.
