A few years back, an anonymous tip let me know their boudin was nothing to mess around with. Curiosity got the best of me and now, I make a few trips a year out here. Guineas out in the front yard, all kinds of good locally butchered products in the freezer, they are a great crossroads for this outskirts community. They are a very nice family originally from Mamou who have brought their skills and passion for food to this side of the state. Their boudin, cracklings, hogshead cheese and tamales are not to be missed.
