Decided on the hot sausage poboy and wanted to try the onion rings. The poboy lacked sausage for sure, there might've been 2 patties on the sandwich that was cut up. Waaay too much salad on the poboy, and they just open the bread up and shove everything in there...one side is salad and the other side is a little bit of sausage. If better coordinated would be much better, and the onion rings were ok. I expected them to be handmade in house but they're like some frozen ones from Walmart or something. This will be one of my go to spots when visiting my kid at Southern University!! The grilled fish po' boy was on point!!! This is not the spot to come in and eat even though there are places to sit (maybe four or five tables and some counter space. There's a lot of traffic in and out because the food is legit. I come to Roul's most days after class and can not express how good the food is. Although a little pricey, Roul's never disappoints. I come in and order the six hot lemon pepper wings which come with an option of regular fries or onion rings along with the infamous crawfish egg rolls. I have never left Roul's dissatisfied. Went back to Roul's today , What a disappointment! The service was "meh" , the food was very much not what I was used to from this location! The crawfish rolls were way spicy, not everyone wants very spicy food ! And they were soo good the times before when we bought them! Tried the chicken wings for the first time and all but two were half cooked ! Bleeding inside ! Also when you order your sauce on the side al least the wings could have seasoning on them ! The seafood rolls are "BUSSIN BUSSIN". My favorite thing to get. They do offer more such as burgers and wings but you have to try the rolls. The parking is not the best, if you ask me they don't have parking at all but there is a lot next door that can be used. Inside has plenty seat and the customer service is great. Especially while doordashing they'll look directly at you and don't even ask if you have a pick when your standing in the pick up stop I waited 10 to 15 minutes no helped or asked. I love how friendly everyone is here. The owner always shouts hello while he runs around working hard. Food is ready in a flash! Great burger place. I got a shrimp burger and it came with fries and a drink for $9.50! My friend got 6 piece BBQ chicken wings for $6.50. They were both great!
