Went to Kelly's today for lunch despite the bad reviews. I ordered the roast beef 3 way. I have to say it was awful. The meat was pretty tasteless and it was cold In the middle.The bun was Toasted and warm and the fries were hot. I know the meat is supposed to be medium rare but this was refrigerator cold in the middle of the sandwich. And for $18 it was every bit of terrible. The staff was good when I told them they offered to make me something else but I did t have the time. I would say save your money and go to Arby's instead it will be way better! read more

We tried the new Bonita Springs location. We ordered the warm butter lobster rolls. When they were served it was barely warm and no visible butter. After the first bite I asked the manager for some additional butter. The extra butter helped but it was the worst lobster roll we have ever had--absolutely no flavor. For $26.95 I was expecting a much better. A very disappointing $75 dinner. We will never go back to Kelly's. read more

As a new Englander I anxiously awaited for the opening of Kelly's in north Naples. they opened Wednesday the 19th of March and on Saturday the 22nd of March they were out of clams - maybe getting a shipment in on Monday. we ordered fish sandwiches. we were served a bun with a 2 inch square piece of fish inside. had the line not been so long I would have brought it back to say they forgot the fish. Inside is like a waiting room and the whole time you're there you get treated to a loud, looping advertisement...FOR A PLACE YOU'RE ALREADY SITTING IN! Sure do love learning that this place is an institution up north. Nothing has made me question the collective sanity of an entire region of the country quite like that knowledge. I waited for as long as I could to visit Kelly's in Naples. But this New England transplant was feeling homesick and could only hold out for so long. I figured it was going to take a little bit for them to work out any issues - and wow, have they ever! Everything we ate was delicious. And we pretty much ate everything... fried clams, fried scallops, fries, onion, rings, chowder, roast beef sandwich, all cooked to perfection. Marsha on the register is Ms 5 Star Customer Service - she took great care to make sure we got our full order in and that we got all appropriate condiments, etc. Restrooms were spotless, tables were clean, these guys have figured it out for sure, they are honoring the good Kelly's name! Not sure why everyone has been talking trash about this location. I just had my first Kelly's Roast Beef and it was delicious. Ordered mine medium rare and it was perfect. Bun was soft, great toppings (horseradish, onion, etc) I upgraded my fries to their hand breaded onion rings which were good (but not amazing). Being from Baltimore where Pit Beef is a big thing, I am thrilled to have Kelly's in town! And the service from the employees was also great. Super friendly and helpful. read more

The chowder was tasteless and watery, lobster roll was ok for $30!, but have had several others in the area that are much , much better and less money. For a restaurant only being open a month you would think they would do what they can to cater to guests. There were 2 people inside when I arrived. I ordered a roast beef sandwich and chicken tenders. They sent half my order out and told me they were battering the chicken tenders to order. 21 minutes later, my chicken tenders came out, straight from a freezer bag. This is a shame as I have heard great things about this place. I done out for every meal. So coming from a loyal customer, I will NEVER return. Their complete lack of care or sense of urgency will not go over well in this area. While they're at it, they should proba look into hiring someone over the age of 18 to manage the place. Bought fish and chips to go and it was still hot when I got home. Two large pieces of whitefish on a bed of French fries. Pleasantly surprised with a handful of onion rings. What started out as a joyous adventure to one of my favorite childhood sandwich shops ended in tragedy today. The prized northeast franchise Kelly's Roast Beef made a horrible decision to trust Floridian's to follow their tradition of preparing thinly sliced delicious roast beef for their sandwiches and have instead took the lazy way out cutting thick slices. The difference is unmistakable and feels more like bitting into a steak tip sandwich with the meat pulling out as you fight to chew through this abomination. It is very difficult to rate this place, so let me explain. On the positive side, the staff is cordial, efficient and accommodating. The facility is new and kept very clean. We ordered the roast beef sandwiches which were very tender, good amount of beef, excellent sauce, and fresh bun, exactly like Kelly's in Revere, Mass. The fries and onion rings were very well cooked and hot. Now the bad news. We also ordered the fish plate, the fish being cod. The fish was cooked properly but it was so hard, yes hard, it was difficult to chew and had an off taste. Four adults spit it out and couldn't believe it was fish! We all agreed that the "cod?" was probably frozen for a very, very long time and then fried. When the staff was advised, they did promptly and kindly replaced the plate with a roast beef sandwich. I'd highly recommend Kelly's for a roast beef sandwich, but unless they correct the very bad fish being served, just order any of the beef sandwiches, which are vey good. read more

We have wanted to try this place since it opened and we got $10 off coupons at the Red Sox game....little did i know I would need that and more. We went on a Wed night around 6:30, pretty prime time for dinner in Naples and at Founder Square. There was one other table with people when we walked through the door. The young man that came to the register said nothing and just looked us up and down like he was doing us a favor. We were unfamiliar with menu board above the registers and they were very difficult to read. We finally figured out what to order, my wife got the fish platter and I got the seafood combo with scallops and belly calms. 2 drinks brought the totally to $53 for fast food, glad we had the $10 off coupon. We picked a booth that was clean, which wasn't easy. Our food came out on paper plates the fries were cold, onion rings were ok but lost their batter, the fish and scallops were good but the belly clams were the worst I have ever eaten. The scallop and belly clam portions were very small but the fish was quite nice size. EVERYTHING was extremely greasy!! I think the owners or someone came in while we were there, didn't say a word to us, but it was the only time the kids working actually cleaned or did anything. As soon as the owners left they went back to standing around. Unfortunately, I will not be back to try their $10 roast beef sandwich even though I have another $10 coupon.
