Hoagie spot with a definite punk grunge skater vibe. While in Naples, FL for a soccer tournament, decided to stop by Slicers as I wanted to check out what all the high reviews were about. Heard they had some crazy sandwiches. Located inside a strip mall, parking was relatively easy. The decor inside was punk grunge style I would say. I asked for what their top sellers were and they directed me towards "The Twang". Which was sliced chicken breast with honey mustard, onions, American cheese and crushed bbq chips. I was told the way to get it was toasted and so that's how I got it. It was a good sandwich or hoagie but I'm not sure if maybe I'm spoiled from living in Miami but crushing chips and putting it on a sandwich is not what I would consider creative. And I thought $15 for a 12 inch without a soda or a side seemed a bit much. Staff were friendly and the place was clean. And hats off to whoever calibrated the soda machine. It was perfect balance of syrup and gas. Overall it's a good spot but nothing I would rave about.

Slicers is located only a couple of minutes from I-75 at the corner of Livingston and Pine Ridge Rd. They offer excellent freshly sliced cold cut sandwiches. The restaurant is quick serve style and has a counter where you can see your hoagie being made as you order. We ordered an Italian and "The Twang." Both were excellent with plenty of fresh meat and toppings. Unfortunately, they were out of roast beef which is included in about a third of their sandwiches. The bread is great and you can choose to have the hoagie toasted. There are two size options, small (8") or large (12"). The large costs about $16 which I would consider to be expensive for a sandwich with no side or drink. Overall Slicers offers a quality product served in a clean setting. The cost and the fact that they were out of one of their main ingredients took away from the experience a little, however, I would return.

Was good. Would have given a 3.8 but rounded up. The bread is soft and nothing to write home about. The interesting sang-a-whiches were very nice, unique, maybe crumpled chips on//in them. Was a nice new twist. The guys in the working were nice, and welcoming. Check it out.

We recently had lunch at Slicers and the subs were good. The decor was a little different, but instead of a place with only teens, all age groups were having lunch. The guys who made our subs were fast and knew their job. I ordered The Dream sub and it came piled high with fresh deli meat and veggies. The siracha mayo sauce was also good. Hubs decided on the Italian sub with ham, Capicola and salami. We went for the toasted version and it was just right. They have an amazing selection of sandwiches with speciality and traditional hoagies, salads, a variety of different chips and sides like coleslaw and macaroni salad. Everything is fresh and made to order. This is a place you'll want to stop for lunch, especially if you're looking for something above the average sub shop.

This was uh really mediocre for all the high reviews i read. Staff was nice, menu was interesting, but, at the end of the day, the sandwich was sliced deli meat, cheese and produce - why am I paying so much? ($15 for an 8" sub no side) Some people commented in their reviews that they were slicing the vegetables and meat right in front of them (like jersey mike's style), but they didn't during my visit. Decor is sparse and gives out high school garage hangout space. Not bad but also doesn't seem to match the ninja theme of the menu. Won't be back unless prices drop.

Slicers Hoagies lived up to the name of a great sandwich with a modern twist. I loved the fresh pastrami toasted with crushed chips. It was definitely hard to pick a sandwich here as everything sounded amazing. They also have vegan options and salads as well. The crew here were helpful in choosing the right sandwich for me. When I'm back in this area I will be coming back. The restaurant itself has a cool vibe, but if you don't like onions you might just cry while dining in. Fresh onions are cut and not topped so it may water some eyes.

Can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet! A hidden gem! Perfection in a hoagie. Quick and delicious. If you want to be healthy, don't get the bun- ask for a lettuce wrap. If you are on a cheat day, get the crushed bbq chips on your hoagie!! we've been eating here for two years and the sandwiches are consistent - no "bad hoagie" days ever!

Stopped through on our way home to Tampa and after trying these hoagies, we're genuinely sad that we don't have one closer! The menu was creative and enticing and our sandwiches definitely delivered on flavor. We also tried the coleslaw and potato salad and enjoyed both of those too. We opted for the larger 12" sandwich, which was only a couple dollars more than the 8" and are glad we did because we have leftovers for lunch tomorrow too.

Wow...such yummy subs with crunched up potato ships inside the sub! I had The Twang and it was simply fresh and delicious. It was a big sub and I walked out stuffed. Drinks are self-service and they had sweet tea that was really good. There were some tables inside and we chose to eat there. Can't wait to come back to the Naples area so I can get another sub!

Cool vibe inside. Try one of the specials

I visited this place a few times and sampled several pies. My favorite was the Soppressata Hot Honey. Yum! And, if you are gluten free, they have this incredible dough they offer which my wife says tastes fantastic! But, you will need to order a whole personal pie. And don't forget the dessert. I tried one of their bombolone and it was fantastic! All of this great food was found in a quaint, but lively, little shop at the end of an alley. And the guys behind the counter were always friendly and ready to guide you through your pizza journey. So go ahead and venture off the beaten path and you will not be disappointed.

The variety here is incredible, from simple classics to fully loaded, ingredient-packed slices. Pricing Plain slices feel a little pricey, but the specialty, loaded slices are definitely worth it. Considering it's on Fifth Avenue South, the prices make sense. You're not walking out feeling ripped off. Fresh and Fast Service Slices are constantly fresh, and they bring your food right to your table. Hot, fresh, and ready to enjoy. Plus, they have seasonings on the side so you can customize. Marketing and Vibes The pink theme is amazing and makes the place feel fun and super Instagram-worthy. Temperature and AC Situation It gets very hot inside. I love the open-air seating concept, but in the summer it's brutal. AC vents don't seem to do much, and there aren't fans running, so brace yourself. Customer Service Not the friendliest vibe when I asked a couple questions. I get it, it's a quick-stop spot, not a fancy restaurant, but a friendly smile never hurts. With the heat, it kinda makes sense why staff might be a little rushed. Cleanliness Bathrooms are super clean, which is always a huge plus. Overall Rating Fun, unique, quick slice spot with tons of options. Fresh, hot slices, cute marketing, minor heat and AC issue, and slightly rushed service balance out to four stars.

Instead of fixing it properly, she tells us we need to pay for another regular sandwich--even though that means we'd pay more than the actual cost of what we ordered because the giant sandwich is discounted from two regulars. I logically pointed that out, and she basically shrugged it off saying it was "only a few bucks" and shouldn't bother us. She never offered to void the transaction and re-ring it correctly, just expected us to eat the extra cost for their mistake. When I said we shouldn't have to do that, she actually accused me of being rude while re-emphasizing it was the cashier's first day. The cashier mistake wasn't the problem, her attitude and inability to rectify the situation was. Then, she grabbed our bag back, reaches in and takes back the second half of the giant sandwich (which she made as two regulars) and gives us the bag back like nothing happened. Unreal. So happy I had tipped 15% for such audacious and incompetent behavior.. It's unfortunate companies even hire employees which such ineptitude. I don't mind people making mistakes--especially new employees--but this wasn't about that. This was about terrible customer service, and we ended up with less food, paid more, and got blamed for it. We won't ever be back. Hope those few dollars were worth losing a regular customer.
