Fun, small family run farm with lots of fun activities for the family. There is a corn maze, hayride, corm hole games, jump pad, petting zoo, etc.

I had a lovely October adventure at Kelsay Farms! I had searched Yelp for corn mazes that weren't haunted and stumbled upon Kelsay Farms. I'm so glad I decided to go there! For $10, I was able to enter and access everything. I liked the affordable flat fee, rather than paying per section as many farms do. My friends and I visited the animal barn, rode the Moo Choo Express (they will let you ride as a 20-30something, but note that if you're tall like me, you'll be a little squished), tackled the corn maze and did some puzzles throughout. On a beautiful fall day, it's really nice! Obviously a lot of this is geared toward families and children. But my group was in the mid to late twenties and early thirties age range and really enjoyed it! So much so, my friends said we should make it a yearly thing! The staff here was super friendly. We had more than one longer interaction with them. Shout out to Simon operating the Moo Choo Express for making the experience fun and taking group photos for us! The corn maze was fun and they had a scavenger hunt for trivia signs to complete (if you take photos at each, you enter to win something). My group had a blast exploring and strategizing to find all 5. Unfortunately, we didn't find 1... and we felt like we looked everywhere! Still, it was a nice was to spend 60-90 minutes on a Saturday! Food wise, if you have sensitivities or allergies to dairy and/or gluten, it's best to bring your own food. The only thing I could've ordered was a hot dog without a bun (which I didn't want to pay $2.50 for) or a bag of Lay's potato chips. Thankfully, I'm used to not having gluten free and dairy free options and had a protein bar in my bag to eat! My friends loved the milkshakes, though--the chocolate tastes like a Frosty, they said--and had grilled cheese and hot dogs. All looked tasty! Bummer I couldn't really partake. My first visit was in 2020, so let's talk COVID precautions. They have a sign before entry that asks you not to come in if you're sick. There is hand sanitizer as soon as you walk in to pay-- and it's pumpkin scented and smells super good! They have portable toilets with hand sanitizer and a hand washing station outside of it. There was hand sanitizer in the animal barn and near the food stand as well. I was able to clean my hands multiple times, which helped me feel safe. They do encourage social distancing with signs by their play areas, though in some of those it may be hard with littles. The corn maze was pretty easy to social distance in... and I stepped back into the corn a few times for fun to make space for people to pass. Overall, I feel like they did a good job of trying to limit risks. My group went as soon as they opened and I'm glad we did since the crowds started picking up when we were leaving (~2-3pm). I'd recommend Kelsay Farms! You're able to have a really fun day there--with kiddos or without!

I had such a fantastic time at Kelsay Farms! Entrance was only $10 and there was an adorable MooChoo express for a quick ride (Shout out to Simon for encouraging the enthusiasm of my 20-30something year old friend group), some animals in the barn to meet, a large haystack for pictures, a few small mazes that were honestly more fun and challenging than the corn maze, and of course the corn maze. The corn maze was a bit tricky, if not just for trying to find all the trivia clues they had hidden throughout. Sadly, we couldn't find them all before we had to leave. They did have a few food options for good prices i got a hotdog and milkshake, and a friend got a grilled cheese. They also had great prices on pumpkins to buy, mini ones were just 2 for a dollar! And I couldn't leave without buying a small bottle of the pumpkin spice hand sanitizer. It smelled SO GOOD and I would buy a whole container of it. Was so glad they had it all over the place to use to help feel safe! Plan to make it an annual trip down hopefully!

This is a fabulous place and has become a tradition with my little sister and I! This is a family owned dairy farm in Whiteland Indiana. I found this place a few years ago while searching for a corn maze to visit for a fun fall activity! And when we chose this location we found a lot more than just a corn maze! They have a tent set up with music and karaoke, baby cows you can go pet, hayrides, a "jungle gym" you can explore made of straw bales called bale mountain, games you can play, a kids corn maze, and a large non-haunted maze that you search for trivia questions. They also give tours of the dairy barn so you can learn about their farm and the dairy industry. Its fun and educational! They also have snacks! On our visit last year we ran into one of the family members that works there are had a nice chat! Awesome Place, nice people, fun fall activities for all ages!

Holy cow! (Literally, because they have lots of cows here.) Kelsay Farms is amazing. I should preface that by saying that Kelsay Farms is amazing during the fall, when this dairy farm turns into a pumpkin patch play paradise for kids. First of all, Kelsay is a dairy farm, not a produce farm -- this is not really a pumpkin patch where you pick your own pumpkin, so don't go expecting that. Although, they do have lots of pumpkins of all shapes and sizes, so you can definitely get one here, as well as gourds, squashes and dried Indian corn. Instead, it's a fun place to celebrate fall and Halloween on a farm. We went here with three kids, aged 1 to 5, and it was perfect for them. We stayed around five hours, and they didn't get bored once, because there were so many fun yet simple things for them to play with/in/on. These things included a straw bale mountain to climb with slides and tunnels built in; a 7-acre corn maze; a human foosball setup and corn hole; a corn crib play area filled with dried corn; hay rides; pumpkin bowling; a train ride; dairy farm tours; and a play area with cars and play houses. Because Kelsay is a dairy farm, you can also get delicious treats at the snack bar, like a milkshake or a cheeseburger. Prices are very reasonable, too (the milkshake was $2!). Speaking of prices, the admission is $8 for ages older than 1, and for that you get access to everything. Food costs extra, but like I said, the prices are more than reasonable. Kelsay is awesome! We hope to make this place an October tradition.

Despite other orchards/pumpkin patches absolutely price gouging families, Anderson Orchard remains the same and reasonably priced. Hours for September and October: 8am-8pm (or dark) We drove from Noblesville, I was so happy they were still open! Plenty to do for the kids, playground, bounce houses, straw pile, photo ops. They offer U-pick apples & Pumpkins or if you're in a hurry they're ready to grab from the red barn. Pumpkins are super reasonably priced at $.40 a Lb or pie pumpkins for $3. The concession stand is open on Saturday & Sunday. I love the fried biscuits with apple butter & of course you must get the apple cider slushies!! I don't remember seeing it prior, but they had apple cobbler warmed up with ice cream, delicious! I just love this place so much! Don't leave without a bag of apples, Carmel apples, apple cider & get some of those fried biscuits! Highly recommend bringing the whole family.

That being said, I had a lovely day at Dollie's. The location appears to be dog and family friendly and would be a fun day out for families. Flowers were very popular with various sizes offered at a range of cost, from small bunches to a bucket! I went for the lavender. You are given a basket and garden shears and left to cut your own. I took my time and enjoyed the relaxing environment. Pricing is per ounce, pre-wrapped bundles are available but these are dried. There are a few animals including peacocks! A store is located on the site, filled with cute home and body care. All of the items were lavender themed-I'm not sure if this was done for the festival or if this is standard.

Art in…read moreBloom, The Lume immersive experiences , Winterlights and of course Harvest Nights are some of the annual events I look forward to. Last night was the third time I attended Harvest Nights. This was the first time I arrived before it was dark so it was less spooky and a bit more wholesome in the daylight. We arrived at 7 and stayed until about 9 pm to experience everything lit up after dark. When you arrive, you're surrounded by stacks of pumpkins in every size, shape, color and type imaginable. Beautiful Fall arrangements are everywhere you look. The Fungi Forest was something new I haven't seen before. Very cool! I felt a bit like Alice in Wonderland encompassed by giant mushrooms towering above illuminated by strategically placed neon lights. One of the highlights of the event was the Cutwater Lounge--a 21+ space upstairs in the Lily House transformed into "Mischief Manor" only for Harvest Nights. The bartender told me this was the first year having this feature. We had a flight of the Cutwater alcoholic beverages that included a snack mix of tasty treats. The Mule and Espresso Martini were our favs with the margarita coming in 3rd. Cutwater's take on the Lemon Drop (which is a drink I typically enjoy) was strong yet tasted a bit watered down. The adult only experience wasn't very well marked (it's upstairs) and signage in general--starting at the parking lot entrance--needs improvement. I'm not sure we would have known about the adult area had it not been for the nice lady who sold us some yummy sweet potato fries with sage and bourbon maple dip. The Spider Stomp, Ghost Train and light show projected onto the Lily House all add to the overall experience. The seasonal food and drink options are great albeit a bit pricey. Passed on the $12 Bavarian pretzel but had to try Elysian Pumpkin Ale and wanted to try the cider but $14 was a little steep. It's not necessary to spend $20 for premium parking that they pressure you to purchase when you first pull into the lot. I recommend getting there early and wearing some of your best walking shoes. It's a cashless campus so good to keep that in mind. Love Newfields and can't wait for Winterlights in a couple months!

There were tons of decorated pumpkins throughout Newfields. There is a food/drink garden area in the middle with benches to take a break if you want. The Lily house had a long line but we enjoyed going in and seeing all the spooky details inside.
