I was so blown away by the song that I actually proposed to my wife by singing a version of that song. (His version is much better!). He has built a great following in a short time and has a nice selection of guitars and accessories. I really like his frequent FB posts of him showing a guitar he is working on, or a song he sings. Elena has an amazing ability to connect with the student at whatever level they are practicing. She has so much to teach and is able to do it in a gentle, intuitive, accessible way. My daughter who is now 17 started taking singing lessons with her last year and then was inspired to learn guitar from Elena. If you heard Elena play you would know why! Observing my kid enjoy playing and practicing and being coached by a teacher in all the right ways and for all the right motivations is fantastic. I brought my breedlove into him that had I had giraffe bone nut and saddle installed on by another luthier and he compensated my saddle for me and is actually the guy who invented the compensated saddle for takamine when he worked for them all those years. He's a Martin player and worked for both martin and takamine for many years and their chief setup technician and more and is certified by both for full-on bare bones builds and is a master at his craft.
