I purchased a 2024 Tremor F350 to tow my 27' Airstream. I thought it was overkill but the truck has been awesome; best truck I have ever owned. However, I just received a recall notice telling me it is dangerous to tow because of a software issue that may disconnect the trailer brake. Not good. When I called service today, April 20th, I was told I could make an appointment....in SEPTEMBER. That's right, 5 months from now. I could also drop it off and they would work on it "when they could get to it". I asked if this was weeks or months and I could not get an answer. This is unacceptable for a one year old vehicle that cost north of $100K. Do better Kendall. For this fact alone I could not recommend this dealer. If you sell cars you need to service them within a reasonable time. UPDATE: Kendall folks saw my review and called me. David Citron in Service was friendly, apologetic, and very responsive to my concerns. He told me to come in immediately and have the recall addressed. As problematic as the initial response, this step was above and beyond. And much appreciated. I rate this solution A+ and change my rating. read more

we got a mustang from beverely hall and all tho the car is great we received it with scratches and water spots all over the car and when we mentioned it all she said oh "that'll buff out" like maybe so but its a 50k car shouldnt dealer let it leave in prestine condition. but i guess we have to pay more to buff it out car had 200 miles id understand if it was a higher mileage car. read more

Can you leave a zero star? Let's start with that! I bought an F150 Lightning from them, my first mistake! The truck is great, but I lost my A** on it. That's on me for being an idiot! That said, I've had no issues with the truck except the tailgate. It is flakey and chooses when it wants to open. Since Kendall bought out Roberson, the service is crap! I scheduled my truck to be serviced weeks in advance for the tailgate issue. I drop it off in the morning and they say electrical issues might take time. I give them the ok for overnight.... The next day, by mid day, I start calling. I can't connect with anyone. Finally after demanding result, I get a text message saying call this number. It doesn't work, I leave a message and finally, we're able to connect. They say they have been trying to call me for 24 hours, though I have no record of a call. I call the manager of the store.... I told him that though I can call them, nobody can call me... he says, let me call you back to test that. I received no response. I tried to call them back several times. No response. I called the corporate office, no response. I've dropped 200k with that dealership! Not a dime more. Kendall blows! read more

I took my Ford into the dealership because Ford knowingly put a faulty transmission in it. After several hours they told me they couldnt fix it and, while I drove it there after they were done the car was undrivable. I realize that the dealer isnt at fault for the tranny but, they didnt have to make it worse in my opinion. read more

First Kendall Ford did not ask for this review like so many other dealerships have in the past. My purchase was such a stress-free experience, that I needed to provide a positive review. From start to finish I never felt any pressure. I explained that as a disabled Veteran that the most important aspect was transparency in the process, and that it be as stress free as possible. They gave fair trade in value for my 2023 Trailblazer RS, and didn't try to upsell me on useless add-ons. This kept the Ranger in my price range and even got the payment better than I was expecting considering the expense of everything these days. From Patrick who took my initial long-winded email, setting the parameters for the trade in and purchase, to my Salesperson Brian. It was a smooth and seamless process. Brian took time to get all the tech set up, and it was never one of those awkward engagements. It was like going over something with your buddy down the street. He even gave me a follow-up call to see how I was enjoying the Truck. This experience was hands down one of the best in 40 years of buying cars and trucks. I chose a Ford Ranger XL 4WD in Velocity Blue and while everyone these days has an opinion; I have nothing but praise for the Ford Team. This truck is a pleasure to drive, even finding myself keeping to 65 MPH between Bend and Redmond just to extend the time behind the wheel. This truck might be what is considered the cheap version, but nothing about it feels cheap. I'm an Infrastructure Engineer, and the technology the truck comes with is just enough for me to enjoy. The seats are hands down the most comfortable that I've sat in, and I don't even miss the heated seats of the Trailblazer. I recently owned a 2022 Chevy Colorado Z71 and the Ranger leaps above it in comfort to me anyhow. The noise in the cab is minimal which was a huge deal for me, and I am looking forward to a long road trip in this truck. Being able to sit at the same level as the full-size trucks is another win, as I now don't feel like I'm being run over by all the lifted trucks here in Central Oregon. Now it's time to mod it, and since it's the XL, I can customize it to my taste, yet it doesn't feel like a stripped-down truck. On order are some Icon Matte Black Vector 6 Wheels, a Tonneau cover, and some window Vent Shades will help personalize it. Window Tint, Ford Tow Package, and bug guard to come later. Do your homework, prepare for the visit, and I say you also will enjoy the process as much as I did. Zero buyers' remorse and that says a lot, because it's been years since I enjoyed a vehicle purchase this much. read more

I have been so disappointed with the service I received from Kendal Ford when purchasing a car this summer. First, they told me a 100 (+) point inspection had been done on the vehicle but the battery was 6 years old and kept dying on me. They told me to go to quicklane to get it looked at. There was corrosion all over the battery and not only were they going to put the battery back in without cleaning it - they didn't want to take any responsibility for the battery. After three visits I could only get them to replace the battery if I promised to give a good review online. They also gave me an IOU for a rack system with the purchase of the vehicle. After taking the vehicle back in twice, the rack system is still scratching the paint of my car because it was installed incorrectly. Now they are ignoring my concerns when I try to call their inadequate service to their attention. I have owned Fords all my life. I used to know the previous owner of Kendal Ford - maybe it all went down the drain with new ownership. I will never give Kendal Ford my service again. I suggest no other women, or anyone else give them business. I get the distinction sense they think they can give me worse service because I am a woman. Although my sales person Brian sometimes seemed like he might be advocating for me - over all I got the sense that he was just like every other car sales man I have ever met and didn't really provide the service I had hoped for. read more

Don't buy a Ford if you live in Bend. We need to get another Ford dealership in town or hope that the owners expand service department to new location with additional bays and staff to handle the demand in the area. I need to get a recall done on one vehicle and a couple repairs on another. I have the maint package so am tied to Ford dealerships. The ones in the Sacramento area were great at getting you in a reasonable timeframe, completing the work and getting you back out, with a couple of exceptions. I scheduled appointments and was given late April 2025 appointment times as the earliest. Seriously, that's 4.5 months! Quick Lane for a 15k service on one car is just 3 weeks out...not too bad. I don't blame the folks on the phone, they were nice enough. It's an owner/upper management issue that needs a resolution in house or even better, a new Ford dealership that can come in to shake things up for Bend and provide some competition. This certainly makes me think long and hard about keeping my Ford vehicles now that I live in the area. Might be time to move to another brand that does have proper support in the area. I bought a 2020 Kia Sportage from Kendall ford in bend or. the first of the year jan 03 2025 to get me back and fourth to the Cancer center in Bend daily for treatment.. It was a rainy day that day and i did'nt see that the windshield was etched so bad on the driver side I can't see thru it when sun shines or when headlights are coming at me at night.. It is a safety hazard.... I went back to dealership and they said it wasn't a defect so they wont replace it..they did try to buff it out and it was better at first but now it's back again I took it to a glass company and they say it has to be replaced. We have few ford vehicles that needed service from time to time. If there are other service centers near, I will not use Kendall. We are sort of stuck with them because of lack of choices. Service department seldom answer phones, and they have not called me back few times when I leave messages. They also do not have a concept of updating customer on the status of repair. Previous customer's comment really sums up my experience with Kendall Ford Service Department. "Kendall Ford Service need to work in their communication. There needs to be another Ford dealer/service center here in Bend. Waiting 4-5 months for a service appointment is ridiculous. Not to mention according the Kendall Ford Service Manager, Greg, your appointment isn't really an appointment. It is for you to drop off you vehicle, talk to a service advisor and they will get to your vehicle that day work permitting. The lack of communication from Scott, Service Advisor, was a tipping point. I initiated all communications as to the status of my vehicle, only to leave a message and wait for a call back. Then not having a vehicle for 2 weeks, which at no time did anyone ever offer a loaner, because using the Ford Continued Service Plan needs an inspection and authorization before work can be started and payment from CSP needs to be received before the service center will release your vehicle is ludicrous. None of which was explained by the service dept. Driving to Prineville or Madres to a Ford Service Center really isn't an option. Come on Kendall, you have a monopoly here in Bend, you can do better!!" read more

I called to schedule an appointment for my car's 60,000 mile check and it has been making a noise that needs checked. I was told they don't have any appointments until January 2025. They suggested I go to their drop in service, it's open at 08:00 am including Saturdays. I have been there several times but thought due to the noise it may need more. I live 15 miles away, so I was up and there at 07:50 am this morning and there were signs posted everywhere stating they are closed today for inventory! Who does inventory during business hours! Seriously! I guess when you dominate the dealerships in town you don't have to compete much for business. read more

The service department is a scam! They told me I needed to replace my entire transmission for about $9,000. I had my car towed to another shop and they found out the only issue was a brake light switch out. They charged me $237 and topped off my oil since it was low. They said my transmission was completely fine! How can a Ford service department be so wrong??? Oh and they charged me $194 for the horrible diagnosis! Never again!!! read more

I recently purchased a used vehicle from this dealership. I went in to see one that I saw online. I was approached by a salesman names Bailey. As the lot was very full of cars, Bailey brought the car to me. I didn't like the condition of that car and Bailey offered to bring another of the same model out. I test drove this one and purchased it. Throughout the entire experience, Bailey was polite and very attentive. Bailey seemed like he cared about our experience. Bailey even called the next day to see if we had any questions or needed any assistance with the technology in the vehicle. This is my 4th purchase from a Kendall dealership. I was in the market to purchase a truck and was looking at the F150... The salesman that was outside when I arrived asked if I had any questions. I had lots of questions as I had never owned a truck before and I felt his responses were flippant, disrespectful and dismissive. I left in the hopes that the next time I came by, I would interact with a different sales person. I did in fact return a few weeks later and the same salesman was outside. I walked into the showroom to find someone else but it appeared everyone was busy. Again, the man asked if I needed any help and I told him what I was looking for... He said I was more than welcome to walk around and ask questions if needed. He proceeded to get on his phone, go inside one of the trucks and stayed there chatting on the phone the entire time I was on the property. Needless to say, I did not spend my money at this location. I am ALL about buying local and supporting our community... but good customer service and feeling respected is much more important to me. read more

Unfortunately I have no control over giving Kendall Ford of Bend a zero star. I'm appalled at a car they tried to sell me and how they tried to pull the wool over my eyes. They said the car (2018) had been given there inspection and everything checked out. Until I pulled the CARFAX. TWO check engine lights showed up and then the car was sold. Huh? That's odd. Upon further inspection, the car had oil in its injectors and had been heavily modified. But they never caught that, and never said anything. Even after giving it there FULL inspection. Interesting. Absolutely the worst mechanical service department. We have a new Ford Explorer purchased at this location with extended warranty and have had numerous issues. The last few issues they tell us are not covered at all though we called within the regular warranty but could not get an appt for months. Met with argumentative manager who did nothing to make things right. There is no reason a 3.5 year old vehicle should be cutting you with the window buttons on all 4 windows nor a constant rattling noise in the exhaust which we have asked about time and time again not be fixed. Since we purchased it and use the mechanical department, nothing has been smooth or easy. We have vehicles from other dealers in town and have never had issues with them. Would never purchase a Ford again for this reason. read more

I purchased a new F-150 platinum from, what was then Roberson Ford, and was treated great for service. I had an issue with my truck stalling and shaking and just wouldn't go. this happened on 3rd two blocks from Kendall Ford. I limped it into the service area and went in to talk to a service rep. they told me they couldn't even spend 3 minute to hook it up to a device to find out what was wrong for THREE MONTHS. I ought my own for $25.00 on Amazon got it in two days and found out it was a bad throttle body adjuster. had it fixed at Davis and Clark the next day. This last Sunday I opened my sunroof, but it wouldn't close. Called Kendall Ford and once was told the next available appointment was the end of September. That is a long time to drive around in a convertible pickup. Called Davis and Clark Auto Repair and am taking it in tomorrow. I will never buy another vehicle from Kendall Ford again. Service team was great to work with. We were concerned about the transmission in our truck because it struggled to pull our trailer over the pass. We were camping 25 miles outside of Bend and drove the truck into town to get checked out. They warned us that it could be hours before they could fit us in, but we didn't have any other good options, so we planned to wait it out. We walked down the street to have breakfast then came back to the dealer and they were already done. Not only did they found a way to fit us in quickly, but they didn't charge us for the diagnostic, either. We really appreciated their professionalism and compassion in fitting us in so quickly.
