We have asked for it to be moved up because we get run off down the side of the house but the owner and engineer insist it is secure, we are very concerned it is not and will get water and mud in the unit. They installed the AC two years ago through my homeowners insurance and when the heat stopped working I called them back. They said the heating system need to be replaced and they were looking for a compatible unit for the Rheem AC system they had previously installed. That was in May of 2025. I paid an additional almost $7000 for the heating system and their repairs. It was still not functioning and was told by Dave to just run it emergency mode. I paid to have the work inspected and it turns out Dave used parts and equipment that were not compatible and used duct tape to make it all kind of go together. There were open wires left hanging and it was stated by the inspector that it was the worst job he had seen in his 13 years of experience. Dave left trash and all the parts from the old unit under the house in the crawl space. Dave promised to refund me when confronted and stated he did not have time to complete the job. He has failed to give me the refund he promised and is also not taking my calls. I am now working on filing a lawsuit and have filed a police report for fraud and theft by trick or device. I paid for work not done and work it appears he had no ability to do. I questioned his license status as a AC/Heating technician and he refused to answer the question. Northeast GA HVAC is probably the most inept company I have ever had the displeasure of trying to work with. On my new construction they installed my gas furnace backwards, thus creating issues with air distribution. Most of the air supply and return ducts were crimped and created uneven air and return air distribution and extremely loud air noise at the floor registers. They refused to correct any of the above and now I'm left with shelling out $3K to get my system set up the way it should have been to begin with. I've spoken to others that have had Americas Home Place build their home and use N.E. GA HVAC and they all complain about the same air distribution plus uneven temps between room. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY
