There were 8 employees behind the counter, 2 appeared to be in training and only 2 were trying to service the customers. Why isn't training prior to the store opening? The store manager need to do better in prioritizing and assigning each staff a specific duty. If someone came in to look at a charm, there was no one walking flood to assist. This poor customer service for a busy location. I will go to the Champions location moving forward although it is out of the way at least I'm greeted when I walk in and there is always a fresh smiling face to assist you. Not too big. It's the perfect fit size to browse around areas. It has many books options to Choose from. Pick up on the employees, making it help it look clean. The downside is the Starbucks area. The floors were sticky. The tables were a mass trash everywhere. Even more sad news. I can't even reading my points there. I have to use a Barnes and Noble card which is spending more money rather than using points. Even worse the outlets are closed. Due to Covid. But that was years ago. They should've thought about opening it back up for those who need to charge their phone or electronics. The people there are pretty chill. They do not bother at all. Now they have a sign up that says $2.49 a pound up to 50 pounds and then $1.99 per pound over 50. Well I got there and did my shopping and came up with 19 items which came out to $65, if you do the math that comes out to $3.42 a piece, not what I'm used to.

Getting back to enjoy an actual movies with no ads, buffering or pauses is nice and sometimes I like to get DVDs that I seem to have missed in the past 30 years. There were tons of clothes and overall amazing selection at this location! I even had a nice talk with the cashier and everybody was super friendly. Five out of five definitely will return amazing deals to be had here.

I have been to this Goodwill Houston Select Stores on N Sam Houston Parkway E and Wilson Road a few times whenever I visit my friend in Humble. I think they got more decent products here than other stores I've been to. The employees were laid back. There is always someone on the floor helping. One thing I really like about this store is the store hours. This one opens till 9 pm. I was here few months ago shopping until near closing time. I often check the furniture section because I found a nice bar stool here. I know I would find more treasure if I stay longer.
