I believe because we looked younger, dressed casual and also had a baby with us we were dismissed as customers. I will not be returning for any jewelry need or future purchases. Staff clearly need customer experience training.

He was super picky about what he wanted, and somehow, she made it happen and got exactly what he wanted within two days of our big day! I was picking up a gift from a special friend. The pick up process was easy and unrushed. All of the associates were super friendly & offered compliments. I didn't feel like the store was about to close. In most situations that I've encountered most retail associates tend to rush you & speak abruptly when the store is closing in minutes!! First no, they sell Rhodium coated metal, not gold. They don't tell you this until after you buy it, and a few months later, it looks tarnished, so you go in as ask, "what is wrong with my ring?" Second, this is the hell I have been going through for 9 months now with them: Kay Jewelers has destroyed not only destroyed my engagement ring, but broken my heart at the loss of something so invaluably sentimental. From the first time I lost a diamond in August of 2020, to March of 2021 they have had my ring multiple times and sent to multiple repair shops. Each shop destroying my ring a little more. After listening to the latest rambling of the manager at the Afton Ridge store, I am positive this company knows they sell poor quality jewelry and when called out on it, they spew any lie they can to try to manipulate the customer. The manager went on about how worn thin an area of the ring was, and that's why all this was happening, when he knew damn well, aside from losing a diamond, that ring was not worn thin until they started working on it. When I lost the diamond in August 2020, I checked if it was back on the "guaranteed date" I was told it was in transit and would be back the next day. The next day however, I was told, it was still in the Ohio office. Ohio? My ring was supposed to be in NC. Another week pasts, and still no ring. Weeks turned into months, and finally on Thanksgiving weekend, My ring was back. By Feb, another diamond fell out, and it was off to a repair shop, somewhere, again. Got it back a few weeks later, and a channel lock for the smaller diamonds on the side was broke. STICKING OUT, how did they miss that? Off again, to a repair shop again. Ring comes back a few weeks later, and it is destroyed! Chunks taken out, scratched, discolored etc. See the pictures I have attached. They speak volumes. My great grandmother's wedding set has survived decades, Kay Jewelers poor quality jewelry couldn't last 9 years! Now they think offering me an exchange is fair??? Really? Absolutely not! I have spent 9 months dealing with lies, poor work, and total disregard for how important that ring is to me. I do not want any more of their poor quality jewelry! Give me my destroyed ring so I can put it in a crystal case, and hopefully one day, stop crying about this never being able to wear it again. I also want a full refund at today's market value so my husband can go pick out a new ring from a jeweler that takes pride in their work, and sells rings that will last forever! The store currently allows 9 people at a time, but is set up for maximum spaciousness. It was very bright and clean inside, and the employees all had masks on. The brand is more high end, so you should expect higher prices than your traditional department stores, but the clothes are made better. Currently, there are amazing sales!! We were assisted by Emily D. and she offered so much help. She gave so much insight on each piece we were considering and it was helpful to know, so we could avoid returning clothes since we are unable to try things on during the pandemic. However, she did offer us a free FedEx label for returns (just in case). She picked out jeans for me with the right size and style I prefer without me ever telling her my preferences! She went above and beyond and it was truly an enjoyable shopping experience, which is rarely said during this crazy time. The team that was working today truly influenced my husband and me to continue to shop with Lucky Brand. Those women truly deserve recognition and I hope they do receive it from the company.
