I went in today to purchase a new pair of earrings to match the necklace I got for Christmas. I had lost one of the earrings and needed to replace them. I told the story about losing one to the very friendly young lady that was helping me. She told me their 50% off policy when you lose an earring. I posted the following on my personal Facebook page: Enjoyed a fabulous day celebrating my BFF's birthday We started out at our favorite Samui Thai restaurant in The Shops at Legacy. We had great food and service. We then went to Kendra Scott so she could find a piece of jewelry that spoke to her and would also be half price for the bday reward. We were probably in that small store for over an hour and looked at every square inch of it. Other than the initial greeting we were never spoken to again, even with 3 people working in the store. We felt ignored and old. Even at checkout when she mentioned it was her birthday she was met with a "yay" most unenthusiastically. But then we went into another favorite store nearby "Another Time and Place". We were warmly greeted by Benjamin and continued to be warmly greeted by Benjamin including a "Oh, Happy Birthday!" We praised him for his genuine and appropriate response! We made our way to Stonebriar Centre and pretty much did that mall end to end. We stopped in the Brighton store. As soon as I walked in I said "There's no doubt that I'm a Brighton girl." There was a delightfully friendly young lady working there who showed us all her favorites. We were in that small store also for a very long time combing every square inch. We started telling her the story of our experience at Kendra Scott and the manager nearby chimed in - saying she sure hoped we we're having a better experience in their store. Yes we were! I guess the message here is these two extroverts are not only shopping for the purchases but also for the experiences. I've always worn Kendra Scott. I love their jewelry and customer service has always been excellent. I shop here frequently for myself and my family. My most recent visit was disappointing. The clasp on my necklace broke and typically they would just exchange this for me but now they only offer 20% off another piece of jewelry. This is making me reevaluate my go to jewelry store. Love this store! It's small but has so many options! I was greeted upon walking in and while looking asked if I needed help without feeling pushed. The girl that helped me was so sweet. She helped me pick out a pair of earrings to match a necklace I had bought a few months before. I love the color selections. They have rose gold, gold and silver options. When making a purchase the staff forces you to provide an email to complete the transaction. I said that I didn't want to provide my email address but they went on to explain it was mandatory but reassured me that they won't send me any emails and that it was just used to set up an account. I have never been to a Kendra Scott store prior to this experience, but I was not a huge fan of the service. It was crazy crowded, and the displays seemed a little disheveled. I do like the color bar - although it was a little packed and a tad difficult to get service. It took awhile before someone acknowledge me, even though there were some employees at the color bar not helping other customers. Eventually, I was helped by one of the employees, and one thing I will note is that the color bar is that you essentially pay the same price to customize your own Kendra Scott piece! However, anything made at the color bar is final sale, so keep that in mind. Also, not sure if this is across all Kendra's, but the packaging at this KS store is not as cute as the other ones. They provided these plain gray KS logo bags to hold the jewelry and did not include the pop of color wrapping paper in the bag that I have typically received from KS gifts. Not sure if this was particular to this KS location, but I was a little disappointed and slightly underwhelmed with the overall experience and service I received at my first Kendra Scott in store experience. I probably would go to another Kendra Scott store before completely knocking off shopping at Kendra Scott because I do believe their pieces are quite cute! read more

I came in on a weekday afternoon with a friend who was using her 50% birthday discount, which I think is an awesome deal for KS to offer. I am more of a VSA/Freida Rothman kind of girl so I was just along for the ride at first. I browsed a bit not expecting to find much because I hate those earrings every girl in Dallas seems to own - I feel like they're a symbol of some preppy girl cult or something.......BUT the more I looked the more pieces I found that I felt would be a great complement to my collection. Dark stones with subtle sparkle and cool gunmetal and gold caught my eye. The three items I liked the most were on sale which gave me hope that they weren't as popular and I could have them all by myself. I would definitely describe the service as aloof. Honestly I could give a shit if the shopgirls like me but I will say if there was more of a genuine/warm/friendly vibe I may have been far more tempted to drop some money. read more

This was an amazingly interesting experience... as a life long sales person I notice great service. I also notice service that indicates a cultural problem with certain companies. For example- here at Kendra Scott, I have an idea how they treat their employees that results in how they treat their customers. For example- if a customer, that looks a little like me, shows up at 30 minutes before opening, obviously unaware of the opening time, and there they are, getting the store ready but staring at me blankly through the windowed doors, not even having the curtesy to raise their hands or mouth the words " we open at 10", or "be with you in 30, grab a cup of coffee next door and we'll be happy to serve you". I sit there looking up their opening time on my phone because the company didn't bother to put the hours on said windowed doors. Then sit in my car while I wait. The service was fine once I was in. But, I couldn't help but be reminded- if you treat your employees like hourly workers punching a clock, they will treat customers like an inconvenience at 1 minute till opening and 1 minute after closing. read more

This afternoon I went to pick up an item at the Legacy store. On the way in I stopped at the store next door and saw a cute dress for my granddaughter but was unsure whether it would fit her. So I left and went to KS and while paying for my item, I noticed a young lady checking out next to me who looked about the size of my granddaughter so I asked her if she would mind looking at the dress and telling me if it would fit her. She said she did not mind doing that but I immediately noticed the the KS employee(Emily) who was checking me out face change into dismay. I checked out and waited for the young ladies outside - there were two of them. Few minutes later Emily escorted the ladies outside and they walked away from me with Emily holding the door open for them and looking at me weirdly. I don't know what the exchange was between them but they treated me as if I was some sort of criminal. The girl said she did not mind helping me so I waited. I will never shop at that Kendra Scott ever again. I may never buy another Kendra Scott. To boot I will tell you that Emily did not give me a receipt, she was not pleasant serving me and had no manners. read more

Tried going here on a Saturday afternoon...uff huge mistake. It was intense! Wasn't able to properly see anything and the other patrons in the store were not polite in giving others a chance to view/try on items. The sales associates were friendly but just entirely out-numbered. After 15 minutes of being jostled and unable to properly shop, I gave up and left. I'm fairly certain the size of the store is smaller than other locations. My advice: go to the University Park location that was much more relaxing and inviting. Preferably on a weekday. read more

Four stars for the product and not so much the store or location. While it's a cute place, you're constantly going to share each square foot with someone else, much less be able to comfortably browse the items. Keep in mind I went on a Monday at lunchtime, I can't even imagine what this place is like on the weekends! Parking can also suck big time at the Shops. The first time I checked out this place, my friend and I both picked something out from the color bar and the lady was super helpful and patient. Second time returning, didn't get asked if I needed any help but the cashier was pleasant. It's true: you get 50% off one item for your birthday month, which is going to be a final sale if you use this offer. I adore the mess out of Kendra Scott jewelry! Super cute stuff; trendy-ish, but classic pieces that will be stylish for years to come. The quality is great, not ULTRA high end or unaffordable, but MUCH better quality than your typical costume jewelry. The staff at this particular store is really friendly, but they don't hound you or follow you around which I appreciate. I love the jewelry I've purchased here, but sadly one pair of earrings I picked up were slightly bent and reallllllllllllllly heavy on my ears, even though they are studs. Not sure if it was the weight of the earrings or the quality of the gold, but that particular pair actually makes my ears bleed. (TMI, sorry!) Aside from that, I love my KS jewelry...annnnd, even though they wreak havoc on my little earring holes, I'll still wear them because they look great! I have a love/hate relationship with the Shops at Legacy. Great stores and restaurants, but let's face it....parking is a nightmare. I try to stop in here on weekdays only, and after the lunch rush so I can get a decent parking spot. I anticipated a crowd visiting this store today being on the weekend, but it was worse than I expected. As we entered we were promptly greeted at the door as usual. Attempting to shop was extremely difficult. The store had customers but also a high number of employees. Everywhere we turned we were offered help but this high number of staff did not help browsing such a small store. We were helped and made an exchange and went on our way. Additional note: We had a small umbrella stroller with infant. This further made it virtually impossible to move around the store. read more

I finally got a chance to go to this store since I moved to TX. I went in to try to get a pair of earrings fixed because the stone was misaligned. They took care of it right away. Horrible, horrible customer relationship management. Found this store when shops had xmas parade. Treated very well and found what I wanted for xmas and sales person gave me card which I gave to hubby. Today Dec 26, back to exchange ring, line outside so I asked sales person at door if I had to wait in line to exchange. She opened the package my present came in , took it out of cloth Kendra Scott bag, then out of plastic bag, checked for tag and then said its ok if I have a receipt and if it is not within 10 days I must have exchange. I said the receipt was on phone. She said ok you should be able to return it. She then said to go get in line. She did all this outside in front of the line. I was mortified, felt like I was being frisked to go into the pentagon. I have to exchange this one, but I will never buy here again. It's all in how you handle it. Happened to be at the Shops of Legacy & my gf told me to check out this shop bcuz they were having a sale. It was 7:22pm and they were locking the door behind the two customers that left & wasn't allowing anyone in. Business hours according to the window said they closed at 8pm. When we asked the girl who was letting people out and locking the door, she said "we close at 8pm" when I told her it was 7:22pm she scoffed at me and continued to close the door to lock it. I'm here way too much for my wallet's good, but consistently feel like the employees gravitate towards shoppers who are dressed nicer although they will usually at least greet you when you walk through the door. My male friend commented on this yesterday too because we were not told about the charity event going on in store or that there were complimentary snacks and drinks at the Color Bar until after I said I wanted to purchase a ring set. By that point, I was ready to check out and leave, but I love cannolis and Pellegrino too much to not grab one on the way out. Luckily I had done my research and knew what I wanted before coming into the store because the sales person was not aware that the ring sizes were sold in a size 5, which is what I originally wanted. She semi-confidently told me that they do not make the rings in a size 5 but then I told here they had them online and would be more than happy to ship it to me. read more
