It is very artistic: MSY is bright, open, airy, beautifully decorated and a pleasure to walk through observing the art. All of the welcoming signs to NOLA. Clean. Everything was clean upon our late arrival. The restrooms where I found myself ducking into after our arrival to change an infant was clear, clean and free of any and all signs of trash. Extremely easy to navigate to baggage claim, parking garages, rideshare/Uber/Lift are all easy to get to. Rideshare pickup is right outside of baggage claim just for the record...no traveling across the hallways to find the appropriate exit door for your contact. Signage is WONDERFUL! After a long delay of waiting at one airport to arrive to MSY it was a welcoming feeling to not have to deal with another disruption in our travel with trying to find the exit for transportation to our hotel. The door was easy to find, service/pick-up island was right there, and we were excited to have a ride within 3 minutes of requesting, once we stepped out of those doors. Our experience was fantastic. He picked us up in a large van (probably not a van, but I don't know the name of it) and we had the entire transport to ourselves. Warren was kind, professional and engaged in friendly conversation. We were charged $45 for the arrival and I had not paid yet. Warren dropped us off and Ms. Christi contacted me later for my credit card information. It was so easy and stress free. For our departure we scheduled a 5am pick up on Monday morning for $35. I prepaid when I paid for our first ride. However, at 5:10 our ride still wasn't there. Based on our first trip I figured something must be wrong. It turns out our driver had a flat tire and was stuck on the side of the road. I arranged for alternate transport after leaving a message on Yelp as well as a voicemail. Ms. Christi refunded my money for that portion of the trip before we even arrived to the airport! The sheets all had stains and cigarettes burns. The toilet was running, had to turn the water off so to keep the noise down. The towels were ratty and looked like they had not been washed. Elevator was slow. The guy that checked us in didn't seem very competent and was very slow. They left the side door propped open so that anyone could enter the building. I have stayed at some terrible hotels in my day, but this is by far the worst. Make your next reservation here if ever you want to contract an airborne pathogen or you just want to gamble on your life by staying in an unsecured building.

As for the buffet, there was Shrimp Pasta, a few different saucy dishes made with veggies and meat, potatoes with bacon and peas, Prime Rib, Fried Chicken, and Green Beans.
