My name is Sharon, me and girls went out for a girls day. We thought let's get our nails done what's a better start, so we went to kennerly nails and spa. less then 24 hours my nails instantly popped off!! And ive paid alot of money just for them to pop off, which I think is a total scam. the paint job was terrible and it only took them 10 mins to do them, which is ovb a rush. They buffed the heck out of my feet and it hurted really bad. I feel as if the whole feet area wasn't as clean, and they were moving as if they wanted me out. i was charged 85 dollars for my nails just for them to pop off the next day, and my feet paint was 55 just for them to look like a kid had did them. Total freaking scam!! read more

Very disappointed with this place. The last thing you want going into a business is for them to finesse you into getting what you did NOT ask for and then expecting you to pay! First time I went, I asked for acrylic nails with no design, cost $40. It was a fine visit. Second time I went for a filling and pedicure. I looked at the menu and asked for the $40 Pedicure (can't recall the name). And while Im sitting there I overhear two older ladies who ordered the same pedicure, asking the nail tech WHY she's doing the most expensive pedicure offered (half done with the service). The nail tech looked very "confused" and didn't say anything but gave off the sense that they'll have to pay the $80 pedicure that they did NOT order. And I know this because I HEARD them order it. So dumb. Oh and it gets worse: my guy tech who I liked (at the time) and was my tech the last visit, finished me up and goes up to the counter and says "it'll be $110". UMMM FOR WHAT?! And of course I ALWAYS have to ask for my receipt (they never offer or give the option). so sketchy and highly ILLEGAL. I should have fought this, but I was so shocked and appalled!! I was angry and left a $20 for him too but had work to get to. I'm not one to complain but SHAME ON YOU Kennerly Nails! If you think you can overcharge people and get away with it you're wrong. Too bad I won't be back to get the police involved. I do hope this review will somehow shed some like on the sketchiness and finessing they do to PAYING customers. But i will never return. I could have been a lifelong customer but after two visits I will never be back. Do better! read more

I had an appointment 10 am July 5th for a gel pedicure and dip manicure. I have never been to a salon that doesn't offer the same color gel and dip to match. Pedicure was ugh okay and wasn't told that colors would be only a 80% match maybe. My nails are so screwed up with the gel manicure . She didn't file very well . My nails are paper thin and had three that snagged on my dress ( wedding) my right middle finger nail had split in the middle stopped at the quick thankfully and a V shape chunk is missing. I'm covering it with a bandage. $143.00 for horrible manicure that ruined my nails and She had no idea what she was doing . I experienced burning while she was filing the color off my toes. Also at the manicure same thing burning. Only salon I've been to that doesn't match colors gel/dip whatever service you have. There is a reason Kennerly nails refuse to post their prices on the website. They push the gels so they can charge you $15. More for a mani/pedi!!! I would like the owner to redo everything so she can see what a crappy job her employee did. read more

EDIT : My nail cracked off big toe & today my pinky toe gel polish came completely off. Sucks because I paid a lot of money. My nails were $50 alone for poly gel no fake nails & the pedicure was $45 + gel $15 & + another $15. $125 + cash tip for guy who did my nails for my pedi to be ruined 3 days later isn't very good at all! Went here for the 1st time to get a pedicure and nails done. Everyone was super friendly, outgoing and funny! I got a guy who joked with us the entire time. He was having us laugh and joke around. He did my pedi and my toe nails looked very nice and shaped how I like! I got poly gel for my nails that look like a bubble gum pink color and apparently glow in the dark which I haven't noticed yet not a reason I got them though. I hope my gel nails & toes last long and don't chip but as far as service it was awesome and I'm happy with the service I received. read more

Truthfully I wasn't too happy when I asked for 2 nails to be painted a certain color (different from the rest). Next I'm quoted for the color of $3 extra, I agreed to that, then it gets changed by the boss, she changed it again saying since my nails were long in her opinion she up-charged the price to $5, once again I agreed, needless to say when the $5 color was added it was nothing like I'd asked. Asked for dip ombre the lady said we dont do that on just your nails only on acrylic. Thats not true, I have previously done this at different nails shops. Then she has the nerve to say this her solon her rules thats fine, but there is a professional way to say that. I will never go back to this nail shop. This week I went to Kennerly Nails Spa to get a full set of acrylics with gel. I had a great experience, they were able to fit me in before closing and did a wonderful job. I have always been happy with my nails when I come here, and I was especially happy with this full set. This is hands down the best nail salon in STL. They have a ton of colors but have the perfect neutrals too. The salon is new, clean, and the techs are so friendly. I have a bad habit of picking at/biting my nails and have never felt judged - and the manicures last a long time, never any chipping or peeling off! I've recommended to all of my friends and they've switched to this salon as regulars too. I even have friends that wait till they come in town to get their nails done by Megan or Tina. read more

Been here multiple times with appointments. Each time I end up waiting at least 20 minutes but usually more! Ridiculous.

Went in to have my nails done with some friends, haven't been to a salon since the pandemic but if I had known this would have been my experience I would have rather stayed home until I die. They kept trying to change the polish color I chose and the manager was very rude and would not even give us her name, there were so many issues I don't have enough fingers to count them all. Such a terrible attitude and I'm more than sure they were prejudiced, their work was 100 times worse than mediocre my 5 year old could have done a better job, we had to go to a different salon almost immediately to change the polish at a next door salon which was much better. 0/10 don't recommend I'd rather die a slow excruciating death than ever come back here. read more

If there were zero stars that's what I'd put they were very rude the, manager was very unprofessional. They told us that they can do a full set and a pedicure but when the time came for the full set they said "we are booked and have to make an appointment for full set" then another lady walked in without an appointment and they let her have a full set. Due to corona they're supposed to satanize their tools but everything they had was old and worn out, they made me pay 5$ to use a new foot scrubber instead of the old one they were trying to use. On top of that the pedicures they gave us were so bad that I had to go a different salon to get them redone within the same hour. I fail to see how it has so many 5 star reviews I'm more than positive most all of them are fake i rate them 0 stars out of 5, 100% don't recommend. read more

I have been to this place a few times now. They are rude and unsanitary. I have gotten gel nails each time. My very first visit, the manicure was good and lasted a long time. However, the technician's finger was bleeding and I had to point it out to her. She left and came back with a bandaid, but the wound was not properly contained; she should have had a glove on. My mistake, I should have walked out right then and never came back. The next time, a different technician also appeared to have a wound on her finger and no protection. They do not clean or sterilize the tools between each customer (not even a rinse, just put them back in their drawer). They are lazy and rather scrape off the gel with a tool after soaking in acetone, they use a drill. They put the acetone on for a few second and then immediately take the foils off and start drilling before the acetone has had time to work. They have drilled my nails down to paper thin and my mail bed actually hurts to touch. I told the technician she was hurting me last because she was holding the drill on my nail so long it was burning and she just made a face like she didn't believe me and then spouted off to the other technicians in her native language. The technician would make mistakes like skipping a coat or make other missteps in the process and rather than politely acknowledge her mistake when I pointed it out to her, she would rudely deny her mistake or say she knew and would do it later even though it made no sense in the process and she had clearly skipped steps, i.e. skipping a second coat on 3 nails and putting a top coat on in the wrong order. Each time I have been back after the first time, my gel nails have failed to last a week. I won't be back to this place. read more
