I got these nails months ago and didn't want to leave a bad review but it haunts me till this day. I go in asking for pink cheetah print, I show my inspo picture and mention again I am wanting cheetah. Clearly not cheetah print. She was in a rush and just drew some scribbles. Solid place to get your nails done. I always make an appointment with Cindy or Helen. They are both very nice and do a great job. If you want to have a design put on your nail I'd ask for Cindy. They always make sure to let you know if they don't have time for you as a walk-in - some days it's pretty busy. I am off on Tuesdays, so I usually go Tuesday morning and it's nice and quiet. read more

An attempt to give Rose's another chance, because I've had both good and bad experiences there. It is lovely and so convenient to home, I wish I could count on the quality. I have had two manicures there in the last two months. The first pretty good. The second very bad. At my second appointment the woman who called me back put nail polish remover on cotton balls and wrapped my finger tips in foil, which is left on for 10-15 minutes to soften the polish. BUT she did not grind the top layer of the polish first. So, when the manicurist sat down she saw what the other lady had done, and realized she would have to redo it by grinding first and and doing the cotton ball soak again.... wrapping in foil and then sitting for another 10-15 minutes. As you can imagine this really dries out the skin doing it once, much less twice. Not to mention it took a lot of time to have to sit and soak the nails some more. The manicurist was nice, but as soon as I went outside I could see how terrible the polish was applied... uneven with pits and dents. I wish I could count on this place for consistent quality, but I just can't and it is a shame. read more

I am not one to complain about services and I am always willing to give a place a second chance but I will no longer be going to Rose's Nail Salon, no matter how close it is to my house. I'm talking its 5 minutes away. I'd rather drive a half hour out to Hampton Ave for a Nail Salon out there. I have tried Rose's multiple times. This is now the SECOND time I have called and made an appointment with Rose's and told that it would be available for me to come in. Mind you, I called several hours before my appointment, it was not last minute. I came in 5 minutes prior to my appointment to grab my nail color and to sign in. Family owned business. They are all super nice and try their hardest to make sure you're happy. They just recently redid the interior and it looks amazing. I go in at least once a month and get the powder dip for my nails. It lasts longer than a regular manicure and makes your nails stronger than typical shellac/gel too. They take walk-ins but if you're trying to go after 4pm or on the weekend, be prepared to wait. They're totally worth the wait though. read more

There were no Yelp reviews for nail salons around me so I turned to Google to see where I should go. Google had great reviews on Rose's so I thought I'd check it out. I got there around 12 on a Saturday afternoon. There were maybe 3-4 other customers there along with just 3 nail techs. I walked right in and they asked, "How can I help you?" I wanted a manicure and pedicure. Without waiting a minute, they got me to a spot. I was very pleased. However, as I was getting my pedicure, several more people walked in and had to wait a little while. The nail techs were great - very nice, friendly, and out going. They were able to keep up with all the customers coming and going while doing a great job on my nails and what appeared to be everyone else's nails. Rose's is located in the strip mall with Bread Co., Christain bookstore, and many other shops. The salon was clean and organized. It only cost me $33 for both manicure and pedicure. I thought it was reasonably priced. My only complaint would be I wish it had more polishes to choose from. But with that being said, I loved how my nails turned out and the color. I will be returning there in the future for another manicure and pedicure. read more

I can have my own nice nails for a few days and then all of a sudden I look down and wondered what happened. I had not done fake nails since High School so I was a bit worried getting them done again, would they damage my nails, etc. But they don't at Rose's Quality: My nails (fake) have always been great since I have gone to Rose's. I always get gel polish and will never have anything else. I need a fill before I would ever need a polish change. Also, I had gel on my toes and I lost track of the months it lasted. Atmosphere: Standard nail salon. TV, beverages, happy clients and staff. Staff: Very friendly. They feel like extended family. Always greeting so many people by name coming in. Good conversation while getting your nails done and it is refreshing when they remember everything the next time they see you. It is nice to come in, relax and catch up. It does not feel like a chore or errand. Recommendations: Make an appointment. Since this is such a great place there are a lot of people coming in. But if you have time, come in relax and enjoy and order food from a few doors down, very yummy. read more

We have been going to Rose's Nails for several months now. I should have posted something a long time ago but......The ladies at Rose's Nails are AWESOME!!!!! Helen and Cindy are the two women who do my daughter and my nails. They do such a fantastic job - the nails are so durable, they look great right up to the day they need to be filled, and their attention to detail is phenomenal!!!!! I just left Rose Nails and was very disappointed. The tech I had seemed bothered that she had to do my pedicure. I must admit it's been 2 months since I've had a pedicure but I'm a paying customer. Since I knew it was a task because it had been so long i was prepared to incorporate that in my tip. Her attitude towards me was so bad I told her don't bother to do my manicure. Another issue is please be professional enough not to talk about the customer in your native language and not think we don't know you're talking about us. VERY RUDE. I called at 10 am to make appointment for 3:40 pm for my daughter to get sculptured nails (we have been there twice before) and then we had to wait for another employee over 30 minutes to do "Ambre" nails so finally she started the process after 40 minutes and the pink "formula" did not work because she did not know how to use the product convincing me it was $45 instead of $35!!! The pink and white powder were to be mixed and she only used pink. Altogether they had to take all of that off and paint the neutral color. She still charged me $45 which should have been $35. Don't expect too much as they seem to be short handed a lot and it takes much longer than normal. No apologies and my advice is pick some place else. read more

The service is awful. I tried dip powder but it made my nails so thin with splits in it. Another time I came in, I tried gel polish manicure but it last only 2 or 3 days then it starting to come off. The pedicure was okay but they rushed through it and make my big toe bleeding. It wasn't a big deal. But I will never come back to this place again. read more

This is your typical walk in nail salon. The people are very friendly and efficient. I went here the first time I came here it was just me and one other person. If you come when there are several people you may wait with your feet in the water for a while but that doesn't bother me bc I just read my book. I always get French pedi so I'm not sure about the choices of colors. I'm going to go back to try the UV nail treatment the lady told me about to make my nails stronger. The salon is very clean and the employees seem friendly. But I won't be going back. It was very disappointing especially when my friend bragged about this salon for weeks prior to me going. I went in for a pedicure, pedicure was very short, not all of the basics were done. Water was cold. Not very relaxing at all. Not to mention the polish must of been old or a cheap top coat was applied, my pedicure lasted two days before it chipped off all together. It was not a very relaxing experience for me. A friend and I went to get pedicures and it lasted about 10 minutes. We waited a bit,which we didn't mind. The chairs were nice. A lady started on mine first and then my friends a few minutes later. I was done in 10 minutes and hers went on forever. I was very disappointed in my short experience. My gel nails were atrocious they were done Rose's Nail Salon I believe by Cindy who spent the whole 20-25minutes. Doing my nails asking on her Bluetooth While I came in late at 7pm I called first and they encouraged me to come on in. She did not shape my nails the faux nails didn't go to my cuticle she did, she didn't even measure my nails the were crooked 10 different lengths and sharp! I went back a day later but they were busy and asked me to comeback later it was. I returned and they were already closed. Went back the next day they were closed but it was Sunday. Today I went after work and they refused a refund! She stated she did her best because I have small nails and fingers. I told her my 8'year olds look great. I informed her if she didn't think she was capable she should have turned me away. . The nails were removed but will never ever return here. $$ down the drain! I wish I could share a picture of these disastrous nails. Before my complaint I confirmed with at least 30 people (without leading them) that they were in fact a horrible job and I was instructed to get my money back! I really wanted to like this place based on the reviews I read. I got a shellack manicure while my friend got a mani-pedi. The girl who did my nails worked so fast I don't think she even looked at my nails between steps. She left the cuticles and the SKIN around my nails ragged an torn from the scraping of the buffer. My nails are not the same shape, and when she applied the polish she did a horrible job. There are places where the polish is on the cuticle, other places where the polish doesn't go to the base of the nail. The edges of the polish on the sides are messy and uneven. Basically, it looks like I painted my nails two weeks ago and it's growing out and chipping. This is seriously the worst manicure I have ever had. My friends manicure was slightly better, but even her french tips were uneven and too thick for the length of her nails. For a $30.00 manicure I expect it to at least look decent.
