To make matters worse, throughout our week-long rental we found cockroaches inside the car every day. Driving a vehicle in that condition was extremely unpleasant and completely unacceptable. When we returned the vehicle, the staff apologized for the condition of the car. They explained that they could not process the refund through Expedia, so they told us a refund check would be mailed to our address instead. Unfortunately, despite their apology and promise, we never received the refund and never heard back from Alamo, even after following up. This was a very disappointing experience. Receiving a dirty vehicle with a cockroach infestation, followed by a promised refund that was never provided, reflects very poor customer service. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this Alamo location.

They communicate constantly. I didn't wait for more than two minutes when they showed up with the car and the keys were handed over to me and I was on my way. I kept the first Chrysler Pacifica, which was absolutely perfect brand new and spotless for one week with my family. After my family returned to the US I changed cars to a Honda pilot and that changeover was also seamless. The Honda pilot was brand new spotlessly clean, and performed flawlessly. The Team at Black tie is great. I have a large family and this service made my trip even better. Puerto Rico is great and Black Tie Car Rental is awesome. A staff member at National took our information for Alamo as well. Jesus waited on us today. Primary driver has to provide their credit card info for the car rental. We are renting a mid-size car. An upgrade with $30 for a SUV or Jeep Wrangler. They will let you pre-pay gas is $47. Gas is about $0.80/liter. $308 for 3 days, a tad expensive for 3 days. They will give us 10% off at the end our drive. Not bad. Rentals are all located on the 2nd floor. Staff on the parking level will tell us what our car will be. Easy to grab and go here. Pick a car in your segment and go. Either a newer Hyundai Elantra or a Kia Forte. Some visible scratches on the hood, back and the right side. It's a bit beat up, but mostly superficial. Not bad so far. Prices are higher than expected or normal for rental. Car is mid-size, low level and not too peppy, but it at least gets us around.
