This woman not only looks after the people in her life with the most optimistic and refreshing outlook on life, but she makes new patients feel like family on their first visit. I thank Lisa Statz for introducing me to Kendra Kelm because the both of them together have worked side by side day by day ensuring my health is their TOP priority. These women deserve monuments for the tremendous amounts of ambition, compassion, and dedication they contribute to the health care field!

I said yes--what else could I say--and she leaves and some guy finishes the job. Who was he--a nurse's assistant? The janitor? Whoever this guy was, he did a really bad job, ignoring the skin tags on my neck and sticking to my shoulder. I am also not thrilled with the freeze method they use, as I've had the laser method done in the past at other places and the heal time is a fraction of what it takes with the freeze method. Not sure what other places charge for skin tag removal, but I thought $250.00 for about 20 minutes was high--especially when you factor in that the person doing it wasn't barely trained and certainly not qualified, as he missed most of them. Finally, I filled out a questionnaire after my visit; in response, I got an email saying to "call." No contact--so I called and asked for someone in charge and never heard back. At this point, I'm just disgusted with this outfit. Update: After writing another negative review on South Shore's website, I did get a call back. When I complained that the "janitor" ( was informed, humorlessly, that the guy was not a janitor but a student) missed all the skin tags on my neck, I was told that that was impossible--that the NP did 50 and he did 5; she knew that, I was informed, because it was recorded as such. Hah. The NP lied and I, the mere patient, was not believed. So that's that. Some unsupervised student does my left side and misses the neck completely, but I am to pay the same amount as when a pro does it. And, my account of the occurance is not believed. Never will I step foot in that dump again.

I came in with my own picto-gram that my wife did before I went which he thought was a good idea but he has a process. He was very thorough. I mean thorough. found a few things that were concerning, did a few biopsies and found them to be basil cell carcinomas. I got a call from the surgeon Dr. Yu's office a couple days later and scheduled to have them removed. They were terrific. The building they are in is a little old but the services were not. I couldn't be more pleased. I have a follow up tomorrow so if my opinion changes I'll let you know.

The things that bothered me she made almost fun of. One issue that I needed taken care of but put it off, she told me would cost $200 for removal and another $96 to have it biopsied. Dr. Lisa Adams is the most arrogant, dismissive and patronizing physician I have ever dealt with…read more She wears her lack of concern on her face with pride and a condescending smile. Don't let that smile fool you. She's NOT paying attention to anything you're saying. Her type of care can be summed up with one word: Lackadaisical - at best! Her after visit notes, which can be seen on Atrius' portal, do not reflect what took place during the visit, often ignoring major, documented health concerns. Each visit is like she's seeing you for the first time because there is absolutely zero prep work on her behalf before your visit. Her office staff is just as patronizing and rude as she is, except for the fact that they're ignorant as to what their job is, cannot interpret standard medical terms so they provide misinformation and/or contradictory guidance with each call. They are also argumentative and combative. Dealing with them via Atrius' portal is even more frustrating, if that's even possible. When they take the time to respond, they strategically make it so that a follow up question cannot be asked. There is no way to respond. Requests for call backs are ignored or passed around like a hot potato, landing on a myriad of "please leave us a message" voicemail boxes that are either not checked or not responded to. Trust the negative reviews you'll find online about Dr. Lisa Adams' practice at Atrius. That many negative reviews cannot be wrong and they're not. I wouldn't trust her with one opinion, never mind with a second one for verification purposes.
