Only gave him 1 star because it was the lowest I could leave. We got married in September 2010, and were told we would have everything by March or April. After being ignored via email & the phone -he finally got back to us in June to tell us he wasnt done and since he wasn't Walmart - he didn't have to respond to us like customer service. Those were his exact words -I still have the email! It took us a whole year to receive the video and the mini dvd's that were supposed to be favors at the wedding reception didn't get made until after - so we had to mail those out as well! Please avoid this business like the plague. We were married oct. 2010 and have not received our wedding video. After several attempts to contact this business we never received or heard anything. Then out of no where while watching TV we see him on CBS Philly with a couple that was married around the same time we were and yet they never received their wedding video either. We ran into the SAME EXACT issue! My husband & I just watched the CBS new story and couldn't believe how IDENTICAL our situation was. And Ken seems to be using the same excuse as before, "I have experienced family tragedies." We were married in June 2010, were promised our video in 26 weeks and did not receive it until end of February (after countless emails, phone calls, a visit to his home business and a complaint filed with the BBB). Kenneth Stillman is the worst mistake I have made during my wedding plans. He states a certain time frame to deliver a finish product but does not deliver. It took over a year and half to get my video. And that was after threatening to report him to the Better Business Bureau. After finally receiving the product, I find that it was complete garbage. I believe he only spent maybe 30 mins editing it. My grandmother who doesn't know how to use a video camera can make a better video. Save your wedding by not hiring this guy. read more

Do not do business with this man. Even after all the bad news came out I tried to keep my contract with him and just asked him to change the contract to include a guaranteed delivery date twice as long as he said he needed, after agreeing he never sent me a contract never responded to numerous phone calls or emails. Then he contacted me one week before the wedding asking for a meeting to plan and make payments and when I told him we had signed someone else and we wouldn't be needing him he made several racist remarks and said we were trying to scam him, mind you he still has my $600 deposit and this is the first time I heard from him in 4 months. I would seriously re-consider if you are planning to use Kenneth Stillman video. His lack of professionalism and his dishonesty are not worth the headache - (he will go months without responding to calls or emails.) It has been over 17 months and we are expecting our first child and we still have no wedding video from our big day. He will tell you several times once you threaten him with your lawyer that it'll be out "any day" You pay in full and luckily he shows up on the day of the wedding, however, everything after that point is a complete nightmare to work with him. We also used this clown for our videographer. My wife was the one Jae S. is referring to, who she saw on CBS Philly. Dealing with him has been a complete nightmare. He did not return any of our calls, emails, or letters until CBS showed up at his house asking where peoples' videos were. We were promised the finished product 2 weeks after he was approached and still haven't seen it. The class action suit is the only thing we are holding on to at this point as I consider getting our video from him as likely as winning the lottery. He claims he is behind on work due to "personal problems" but still has the time to take new clients each week. I am astounded he's been in business this long and nothing like this has happened already. I too would urge you to look elsewhere and not even thing of using this joke for your wedding video. read more

My original post was dated October 20, 2012, since then we received our final edited video (2 years, 2 months, 6 days after our wedding) from Kenneth Stillman/Marigold Sky Studios. We are grateful to relive the memories and get a glimpse of what we missed like the bridal party introductions, pure gold; however I only wish I could rave about how amazing the video is and that the amount of time dedicated to the final product was evident in the edited version. I only wish because that is far from true as the final product was not the quality we paid for or expected. We were expecting a 30-45 minute version of our highlight video with music, like Ken showed us when we met with him, but that is not what we got. The final video was for the most part straight filming. This is to be expected with the ceremony; however the reception could allow for some creativity. The only editing was segmenting the traditional wedding formalities (dances, speeches, cake-cutting). Then the video abruptly cut to the end of the night as guests began departing. Our wedding was American/Portuguese and we had quite a few Portuguese songs/dances where the dance floor was packed, but not a single one made it into the video. This represents my husband's culture so it was sad to see the wedding that we remember and is captured in our album was not the wedding portrayed in our video. Other than our first dance, my husband and I were not the focus of our wedding. We were rocking out to our favorite songs throughout the night but it was left out of the final video. KSV did take it upon himself to upgrade our package to blue-ray which is appreciated; however, various segments (particularly during the speeches) were a little fuzzy. We relayed this to Ken and he promptly responded that he would look at the "grainy" sections. In addition, he graciously offered to supply the raw footage we repeatedly requested at no additional charge and it would be in our hands the following week. This correspondence took place on November 5, 2012 but we still don't have the raw footage. If your budget is limited or you choose to ignore the reviews and take a chance, I would recommend hiring KSV only for the highlight video. Get a professional videographer for the final edited video; otherwise you may be disappointed. read more

This has been the worst experiance. We have heard nothing back from our repeated calls to him and it has been over 14 months. We gave him 12 months without one phone call to do his work. In the last two months we cannot get any responce to emails or phone calls. Unless you want to go to court after you get married find someone else. read more

I have had a very bad experience with this vendor. I suggest, like others, you send a complaint to the Attorney General. The Attorney General website states that even if your problem was resolved they would still like information on your problem. "Our office looks at establishing patterns of business practices. I can't believe this man. If you google the business address, its his home apartment. There is another photography company he has tried to use at that address. It uses the same wedding videos. (Marigold Sky Studios) He also appears to use Bob's Wedding Videos. It is a Philadelphia address that may not exist. One might think he is using different names because he does not intend on meeting his obligations.
