We arrived ahead of schedule, as we always do, and they were able to take my husband in right away. When he came out of his appointment, he was genuinely happy and relieved. He told me, "The representative from the pacemaker company was so friendly and personable and immediately put me at ease. The MRI technician was very kind and even asked if I would like to listen to music during the MRI. The gentleman who escorted me to the imaging department could tell I was nervous and did everything he could to reassure me. Three wonderful men treated me like I truly mattered." We desperately needed a positive experience with a local hospital, and Kadlec provided exactly that. Compassionate care makes such a difference--especially when a patient is already anxious--and this team went above and beyond. We highly recommend Kadlec Medical Center. However, our experience at Kadlec on 395 was very disappointing. Nurse Jazmin and another nurse were extremely rude, and Dr. Dominic Nicacio was also unfriendly and barely acknowledged us. I understand urgent care can be busy, but a simple greeting or a little communication would have made a big difference. The only person who was kind and respectful was Nurse Eneyda, and I truly appreciate her. We bring our children to urgent care because they need help, not to feel dismissed or mistreated.
