We were in need of carpeting for a new room and went to a few different places before deciding to go with Kenny. Called to place our order last week, they came out to measure Saturday and installed today (Thursday). The salesperson we spoke to was friendly and not overly pushy as often sales people can be. The crew that installed was young and didn't really clean up after themselves which is why I'm not giving a full 5 stars. Other than that, they got the job done quickly (about an hour for a 10 x 20 sized room), and we are pleased with the carpet. Once we clean up after the installers I think we'll be even happier! I would definitely suggest Kenny to anyone in need of carpeting (can't speak for their other flooring choices). Other places were telling us it would be weeks before they could even get the carpeting we wanted (Lowes was the worst - 4-6 weeks before even being able to schedule an install!). read more

As I've mentioned previously I am in the process of "up-aging" my grand-daughters room, taking them from toddler beds to bunk beds and goosing up the room a bit. I will start by saying I am not a carpet person....I much prefer tiles or hardwoods. I wanted to make this room as kid friendly as possible as well as comfortable. Carpets it would need to be, with good padding in the event that one fell out of bed. Looked at a number of places and got the hard sell. Stopped here on a whim and was pleasantly surprise. Mike, the sales consultant that I dealt with, suggested looking at remnants after I gave him my room size. Pointed me in the direction of a very nice 12 x 12 piece that was a great buy for the price....threw in the padding at no cost! What can I say other than Mike made my trip worthwhile and pain free. He knew his stuff and also answered questions concerning a problem that I am having with hardwoods installed 12 years ago of which he was not a part of. Mike Sobieski is a smart individual. We was referred by realtor. After purchasing the carpet we went back to change the order. The salesman did not put on the paper removal of old carpet. I called and asked about it they couldn't give me an exact figure so my wife and I removed the carpet. Then my wife called and asked how much it would be to remove the nails they said 1. 25 per square foot. It would have came out to about$101. So we remove the nails also after removing the carpet I noticed I had beautiful hardwood floors under the carpet so I called them again to ask him if they could cancel part of the order. They said no they could not cancel the order it already precut you order. We could reimburse me any money it would be stuck with the carpet. I have 1 800 junk truck here the same time they were. The gentleman asked if they were going to throw anything in their truck and they said no. After leaving I found a bag of cut up carpet on the other side of my house this is the worst company to deal with Buffalo I would not recommend them. read more

Excellent service and the workmanship was fantastic. First off, we had a wonderful and most pleasant Salesman named, Bruce. He was very knowledgeable and he wasn't trying to sell us the most expensive carpet, instead he sold us exactly what we asked for based on our requirements. Secondly, the carpet installers were very professional and on time. They did an amazing job installing our carpet on a complicated spiral staircase. The quality and workmanship by Kenny Carpets far exceeds Empire Carpets. Do NOT call Empire Carpets, they overcharge and the quality is horrible. I bought a high quality 100% nylon Masland carpet for our staircase from Kenny Carpets on Sheridan. I was able to get a very good deal that included top-notch padding that added extra-waterproof protection, since we have pets. I requested their best installer and was happy to wait until he was available. I'm glad I did: he installed using the Hollywood method of wrapping the carpet around each stair. I hired these people to put carpeting in a bedroom, hall, and stars. They assured me they would show up the day scheduled and then proceeded to give the installers the wrong phone number. I called FOUR times on day of installation to ensure the right address, number etc. They just kept telling me "yes you are on the list for today". never called the installer themselves to verify. Finally at 5pm I cancelled the order, one vacation day down the tubes. Next day manager calls and promises a 9am install for Saturday morning. Ready?...you guessed it. No one showed up. The terrible service and lack of follow through is stunning. If I could give them a 0/5 stars I would. Waiting to get my deposit back. Oh yeah...I MOVED THE FURNITURE TWICE!! read more

In 2019 I purchased 1200 sq ft of Armstrong Architectural Remnants laminate from Kenny Carpets which got installed in April 2019 by their installer Sal Montesano. From the beginning and ever since the floor snapped crackled popped. When guests come to my house and walk through they keep on stopping and looking down thinking they walked on something laying on the floor. Armstrong paid an inspector who did absolutely nothing beside taking picture and measuring the humidity which was within the allowed spec. Armstrong denied two warranty claims. Sal Montesano the installer no longer returns my calls. Jeff Balsom came to my house twice to look at it but now no longer returns my calls. I spent $9,500 total and no one at Kenny Carpets is helping and simply use the Armstrong corrupted inspection report as an excuse. Mr Balsom claims it is just an environmental condition. No one would want this floor not even Mr Balsom. Kenny Carpets and Sal Montesano caused a lot of financial and emotional stress to my family. I don't see why anyone would want to do business with them, if anything goes wrong they will close their door on you! I emailed Kenny Carpets, which had a good reputation and decent prices, on a Friday and requested an appointment for the following Wednesday. I never heard back from a salesperson until Tuesday afternoon. He did come on Wednesday , and though he was very young, he seemed to know the products and brought the samples I requested. So I picked out the carpet I wanted and he called me for an installation date promptly. We scheduled Thursday of the following week for the installation, which included a complete tear-out of the old carpet and it would be taped and put to the curb by the guys. Well Thursday came, and I expected some kind of confirmation call at least by Thursday morning ~ so I called Kenny Carpets in ( Williamsville), and so glad I did because the "little boy" who sold me the carpet never put me on the schedule for the carpet installation, and I took the day off from work! The man I spoke with told me I have to TEXT the salesman! Well, I said he's your employee, you need to deal with him! (Plus, I don't text well!) When I expressed to them this is just bad business, the man I spoke to offered to try to arrange the installation for that day, which he did! The two guys did a great job installing the carpet. However........first, I was uncomfortable that the "dirtier and toothless one" (I'm trying not to judge) wanted to use my bathroom - in which he never washed his hands afterwards because I never heard the water run. Second, they left the old carpet and padding in 4 - 5 feet lengths and NOT rolled and taped ! The old carpet and padding was just thrown to the curb. So my garbage men will NOT pick it up if it's not a maximum of 3 ft. and rolled & taped. Needless to say, I called Kenny Carpets to let them know the job was not completed. At this time, I am waiting to see what they will do about the mess at the curb (and the "kid" that sold me it is suppose to call me.......oh, great!). I learned from this experience never to use or recommend Kenny Carpets again - and just because the job looks completed inside, doesn't mean it's completed outside at the curb! Stay away they do horrible work. I would give no stars but it won't post. The carpet is pulling up already and it is only a few months. The carpet is cheaply made and the thread is coming up. Horrible carpet pad ( yet purchased the best ) inexperienced installers, left me a mess to clean up, a hole in my wall and damaged stairs - no resolution and threats to be sued Please !! Buyer Beware !! I needed to replace 2 stairways of carpeting and most of my basement as well as have hardwood replaced in a basement kitchen area. I chose to purchase from Kenny Carpet on Transit Road. Carl was my salesman and he seemed friendly and knowledgeable. Hardwood went in a few days ahead of carpet Awesome wood and Awesome Installers ( give credit where credit is due )! The Carpet installers that arrived were extremely unprofessional, very young and completely inexperienced and I began to question everything from the second they walked into my home - First off, the pad - I kept saying over and over I believed they were installing the wrong pad ( either picked up the wrong pad from warehouse or was using whatever they had in their van ). They continued installation and suddenly I realized the installer that completed my stairway going from my 1st to 2nd floor cut the carpet too short on the sides, wood at the top of the stairs ( plywood ) was exposed and it was gaping under each step - I questioned it and he got very agitated and said he had never done stairs before. Another installer ran up from the basement and said " I never should have let you do the stairs !" The installer that was yelling at the young kid who tried to complete the stairs turned to me and said "we are finished " wanna take a look " ? Rally ? What about all the issues ? I walked down the basement stairs which were also cut short on the sides and looked terrible! There was a huge mess in my basement - carpet scraps and threads and debris everywhere!!! They never completed the 2 transition strip installation ( I paid for ) ( installer said it was the " hardwood guys deal " ) WHAT A MESS !! I said, "aren't you going to clean this up?" and he said " hey lady, Kenny Carpet does not pay us to clean up and besides we don't bring a shop vac or vacuum- your on your own !" I was so upset !! Before they left I then noticed a hole in my brand newly painted drywall and they said " woops!" And " call Kenny Carpet" I called immediately and told Carl to please get someone out to my house to clean up the huge mess and that he needed to repair my wall asap and to fix my stairs !! Also that there was something wrong with the carpet pad !! Carl agreed to come out and look at the stairs / installation asap ! A very RUDE manager then called me back and I asked for the owner to call me ASAP!! Was told $200 would be deducted for clean up and wall but I never received a final bill with the deduction. Carl and the owner both came out ( separate times ) and agreed on everything but nothing was done ! Jeff is the most unprofessional business owner I've ever had to deal with - called and whined and threatened me called all hours of the work day ! Yet no resolution in writing or otherwise ! Yet told me over and over pad and stairs would be replaced. Never was. Bottom line : - do not trust this establishment - they do not stand behind 100% installation guarantee - Jeff the owner is unprofessional and in a way a stalker that makes absolutely no attempt to resolve anything but keeps calling and calling all hours of the work day and changing his story and offers yet puts nothing in writing including any potential resolution and never acts upon or does anything but call and call and call ( if you work during the day beware not to give cell number / work number ) -they install inferior product to what you purchase ( best pad ? ) - they agree with you only to disagree - try to run you in circles until you finally give up ( I'm not giving up !) Filed a complaint with BBB, Yelp Review and if no resolution soon the Attorney General ! read more

First off I had a super salesman named Carl . Very good didn't try to sell me what I didn't need but what I wanted. Set up a date for install for about 2 weeks out . Tragedy, truck carrying my carpet had accident . Understand shit happens , wait 2 plus weeks for next shipment. Then 2 installers show up while im working outside . They do the job and leave claiming were short carpet couldn't finish . I enter my house in disbelief took me over 2 hours to clean up after them. rug and padding everywhere from staple to threshold nails , to a pile of trash even inside a linen closet ! Also to slap me even harder 2 pools of oil in driveway. Then we wait another 2 weeks 1 guy supposed to show but a totally different guy shows . Complains cant do job in short time schedules for Saturday but doesn't show . 2 original installers showed that I had banned from here , so I sent them packing. Then another week goes by make appointment installer doesn't show schedule's for following day but 3 hrs late . Finally job gets done . All in all almost 2 months of leaving work early not working Saturdays .Speak with owner and get no satisfaction for lost time and aggravation on my part. Owner feels everything they did was ok as long as job finally got finished . Don't know bout you but I will never do business with someone that thinks like this . Horrible Horrrible experience . Installers left a razor blade on the carpet, and did not place registers back on the duct work as was paid for. Called in to Kenny Carpets, we are still waiting for a call back from the "OWNER"... The installers were rude, and when asked to place a transition strip on the carpet, they complied, but when asked to place the registers back on the duct work, they said "Its easy to do, just open them up and put them on"... then they left... I have purchased carpet from two other places and never had the run around I received with Kenny Carpet in West Seneca. I went in over a holiday weekend because of the promos, bought $2000 worth of carpet putting half down. Was promised a tech out the next day (regular work day) waited around no show. Called the store was told they had no info on it and my salesman was off so it would be a day or two til they would get to me (showed up 1.5 hours late for that appointment). Then I had to call to get scheduled for install they forgot to call when carpet came in. Finally install was horrible. They cut the carpet on my driveway (in winter in Buffalo) making a mess out there and they left me fibers all over several rooms as I was getting stairs and hallway done, not even broom clean (other installers always had shop vac for some clean up). Prices were better by a couple hundred dollars but not worth aggravation. Calls to store met with lack of customer service and being called untruthful. Get your carpet elsewhere. read more

This is one of the most unprofessional companies I have ever had to deal with. They had to come to our house to install two different times because only carpet for one of the two rooms came in. After the install the installers never put back on the seam plates that go over the seam between a carpet and a tile floor. I called our salesman to tell him the job wasn't finished so he offered to have our doors cut down for free (they no longer fit with the new carpet, and they usually charge per door). I had to wait another few days for the door cut guy to call me, I gave him my availability and he said he would call me when he could come. I didn't hear from that guy again until I made a complaint on their website. I heard from him a few days later and we set up an appointment which happened to be Wednesday 11/19/14 - the day of that crazy storm that dumped 7 ft of snow. I didn't mind that he didn't show up, understandably, but I expected a phone call the next day or so. He finally called me a week later to reschedule and we made an appointment for the next week. I then had to cancel that appointment because my son was sick. Now he called my fiance and said "I flaked on him 4 times," he won't come to our house unless he deals with my fiance and he "has a sneaky suspicion" that I will just cancel again. Ridiculous. I called the store to pay my bill, and asked for the number of the store manager or a customer service line, the guy said he would "speak to the salesman and figure out what's going on Monday morning." It is now 5:30 PM Monday evening. Don't waste your time with this company, our initial install was in October. read more
