Super personable and knowledgeable staff! I first called just to see if they can repair my water line to my windshield wipers. He said to bring it by so he can take a look at it. 10 minutes later I arrived. He looked at it, found 4 small holes. He then jacked up my car to get a better look through the wheel well. 10 minutes later he fixed the line and didn't even charge me. Wow! The work took about 3 weeks (thanks to delayed shipping of parts due to covid) but when I got my car back, it was repaired beautifully and they even completely detailed my car (inside and out!). I came here to get some body work done on my truck after hitting a concrete pillar, which completely destroyed the side of my truck. After comparing Kenny's Kar Klinic to many different companies I decided to go with them as they were third of the competitors prices. I could not be more happy with the work that they did on my truck. It was absolutely spectacular! It looked like absolutely nothing had ever happened to my truck and that it was brand new. They even washed and vacuumed the inside of my truck. It's the little things like this that are the reason that I would recommend Kenny's Kar Klinic. The manager and I were both surprised by the high cost of the rather ordinary parts needed to fix my car. Nonetheless, the parts were necessary, and were ordered by the manager. I made an appointment to bring the car back a few days later, after the parts were scheduled to arrive. Over the last 8 years I have used Kenny's 3 times for some significant body work. I was very happy all of those times. The last time was the best. I talked to Ryan about the damage and what could be done. Instead of offering the most expensive job, he pointed out that the age and value of my car should be considered. He almost had to (politely) talk me into the much less expensive repair. He explained that there would be a couple of barely visible ripples when the job was done and he was absolutely correct. In December of 2020 we brought our 2005 Chevy Uplander Van here to get a little face lift. We spoke with Ryan and told him that we wanted to have our faded body trim repainted, faded head and tail light housing replaced and antenna replaced. Ryan said he would recommend removing the trim in order to properly prepare and repaint but it should be no problem. Ryan was very friendly and professional. This was one of the "preferred" vendors when dealing with State Farm. The customer service was good, but the paint job was just okay. They seemed to take a lot of shortcuts because some scratches were just painted over instead of being sanded and then painted. You can still see the scratches under the "new" paint. There were also some area on our bumper that were scraped or something when putting it back together while the paint was still wet. We signed the insurance paperwork and they brought the car out. I inspected it and there was some fish eyes and orange peel. The guys said, "just bring it back in a couple days and we'll re-buff it". They probably do this because most people don't come back. I pay good money to get my car fixed and I expect it to be "fixed" when I pick it up, not by being inconvenienced again to bring it by. Never again at KKK. read more

Don't trust ratings. I came to Kenny's solely because of their good ratings on yelp. I left my car with them after it had been involved in an accident. My car was inspected by my insurance and quoted. Kenny's took in my car and reviews both the insurance quote and the car and we came to an agreement that they'd stay within the quote my insurance gave and within 10 days they'd have it done. I understand that the unexpected can happen with issues like this as far as time taken to finish the repair but all said and done my overall experience was damn awful here from lack of communication with me when delays were made. My leaving of voicemail after voicemail and promised calls back when I would get an answer but never would get a call back. I'm probably one of their younger customers so I'm not sure if that came into play when they decided to never give me any information or updates but if I ever wanted to figure out what was going on with my car it was because I had to go down there in person and get answers always told how we forgot to get back to you over the phone. All said and done I got my car back not once but two times from then after being finished but both times not even able to make it home before my check engine light came on with and with obvious driving issues, it's as if they didn't even test drive my car before handing it over to me after the second this happened I convinced my insurance to let me take it to another shop and I can only say it was all uphill from there. The other shop pointed out that there were claimed repairs that Kenny's made that weren't made?? after another week in the other shop I finally was able to drive my car and I was actually satisfied but not because of Kenny's.... but because of the other shop I had to take it too to finish up Kenny's poor excuse of a repair. I feel this review still doesn't do justice to express my opinion on the service I received at Kenny's because there's much more to say but it can all be avoided by going to any other auto shops in vista read more

By far the worst experience with kennys kar clinic, i own a 2006 toyota tacoma. In which on a saturday night i spun around merging from the 78 onto the i-15 after spinning around my truck ended it up hitting the side rails causing sever damage to the truck. I went with kennys they took the truck it they fixed all the visual damages, i received it back the 1st time and the truck was doing a very strange "shuttering" vibration. So i took it back and a day later got a call saying they saw nothing and that it was the tires and they rotated them take in mind they kept insisting it was the tires, i once again Received the truck back again and the "shuttering" started again. Took it back this time around they had me take it to different shop in which they aligned it and replaced a motor mount and a few other parts. I received my truck back, and again the shuttering continued. Take in mind i have a rental from my insurance in which time ran out. This time i involved my insurance agent, we all went for a test drive sure enough the truck did the shuttering that i mentioned the first time i got it back, so they decide to take it to another shop. Finally after 4 weeks they think its the tranny that causing the shuttering. By this time my rental is up and i have no back up car. Kennys says i will assist you with a rental but sure enough this was last week Wednesday and today 2/29/16 i receive a call/txt saying they will no longer cover the rental and yes it was courtesy of them but they took to long figuring out the issue, 4 weeks they wasted my time on a rental and didn't get my truck fixed and now they are not going to cover the rental from their end while my truck actually gets fixed. Also take in my mind my insurance already paid them about $3,000 + for partially fixing the truck. Please save your self a headache and choose a different shop. Service is horrible and very unprofessional. Im a full time Dj and a dad and these people leave me no option but to return the rental and leave me without transportation. read more
