Good people, good service, honest service, and reasonable/ comparable prices! I was looking for a smog place to get my car done at and called around a few different places and the prices were a little all over the place but I was mostly getting people doing them for around $60-70. The reason I chose Shadowridge auto was because Mike answered the phone politely, continued to answer my questions politely, gave me a reasonable time I can get in the same day and a proper time they'd finish by. Not just that, but he wasn't trying to rip me off, rush me, or make me feel stupid like other places I called around did. They have a little outdoor seating area you can hang out by while your cars getting done so I did that and they were very timely and got their job done quickly. Mike so patiently explained to me where I can finish up my smog paperwork and get that done and gave me some great tips too! I'm glad to have found this auto center and highly recommend it read more

Mike and his guys are honest and provide awesome service at a fair price. I bring my car here all the time. One time Mike had told me to take it to the dealer first because it's still under warranty. That in itself is a rarity. I took it to the dealer and they could t find anything wrong. I took it back to Mike and told him to go ahead and do a complete diagnostic to which he did and found a rather large leak in my exhaust. I took Mikes pictures and findings back to the dealer to where they "apologized" and made the repairs. They knew they just didn't want to repair it because they get less money on a factory repair. I had another incident where he had to weld the exhaust manifold back on. It's a Chevy Traverse if anyone's wondering. I also have fleet vehicles that I tell them to take it to Mike if they have the time as he's not a huge shop but I would rather give my business to a small shop then Corporate any day of the week and the service beats them out anyway if the week. Anyway I'm off to do drop off my car there again. This time check engine light and the car is sputtering. read more

Incredible service. I had radiator replaced new hoses. Also while I had them doing the work I had them do timing belt and everything that goes along with that. After moving my business to Vista I needed a good auto shop for my vehicles, after researching the area I found shadowridge auto to be close by. I informed Mike what I needed done to my truck and the time frame to complete the task. He gave me a price and a schedule, The work was completed before schedule and the price was the same as the quote. We brought our 85 Corvette into Mike. It was not running for some mysterious reason and was having trouble finding a repair shop to even look at it. Mike had it fixed and running in a day! Mike stayed true to his estimate and I found him very knowledgeable. We were so impressed that when our Sienna developed a coolant week the week following, we called him in the morning and he had our leaking radiator replaced and our car back on the road by mid afternoon. His prices were reasonable and we couldn't be happier! We have finally found a reputable, honest mechanic that we can trust after searching for over 10 years! I just wish I could give Mike and his crew 100 stars! I have been bringing my cars (first my T-Bird and then for the past eight years my Toyota Solara) to Mike for seventeen years. He is the most honest mechanic I have ever had. No matter what the problem with my car--unusual or just routine maintenance, I know I can trust Mike (and Bill and John) to honestly diagnose the problem, and then do excellent work at very reasonable prices. My mom trusted her Cadillac to Mike when she was alive. My sister and her husband use Mike, as does my cousin, as does my next door neighbor. I went to Shadowridege Auto Service for the first time and the service is bad. I went to fix my brake pads and I do know if they acutally replaced the pads because my car was running smoothly before and now it is very rough and shaky, They also did some wheel allocation without my permission since I fixed new wheels recently at a tire place. They took the whole day nearly 6 hours to fix a small thing which is a break pad. They took my car for test drive without my permission and it was long. I do not trust this auto service. I do not recommend them to anyone. read more

Mike at Shadowridge Auto Service is not "only" a great mechanic but a very decent person as well. Had I brought by vehicle to any other mechanic I would have been taken to the cleaners several times. Mike actually made suggestions and extended himself to find the best avenue to take with my issues even if it meant PAYING SOMEONE ELSE!
