After another body shop damaged my car while repairing it, I was frustrated and needed a quality body shop to fix my car. I had used Terry's Auto Body & Paint before since they are Hyundai certified. Glynn, Tessa, Edgar, and Linas are the nicest and friendliest people to work with. It took a month to get in because they are very busy but totally worth it. They did a fantastic job fixing my lower passenger rocker panel, rear bumper, trunk trim, and so on. They care about the quality of the work that they put out. I was blown away by how good my car looked after I got it back. The body lines, panels, and my new taillights look absolutely perfect. They even retained my aftermarket backup sensors that I had the Hyundai dealership put on years ago. And didn't mess with my carbon fiber trunk! They are expensive, but they do it right the first time and don't cut corners on anything. You get what you pay for, and I learned that the hard way with my beloved genesis coupe. I chose this shop because of the close proximity to my home, and because they were local and had great reviews. My experience started with speaking with Glynn at the front desk. She was so kind and helpful with helping me understanding the process and getting paperwork organized with Geico so I could bring the truck there. She followed up with me several times to make sure things were going ok with the process of getting the truck there. I found that follow up to be impressive and from there I knew I was in good hands. Glynn then appointed me to my service advisor, Tessa Hewitt. Tessa reached out to me to discuss the repair process and what they had found after taking the front end apart. She advised me from the start approximately how long the repairs would take, and she was spot on. I found Tessa to be extremely helpful, professional and kind. She listened to my concerns, the truck being brand new.. I wanted all the parts to be from Ford. She made sure that everything was put back together with Ford parts which I greatly appreciated. My dealer used Terry's to repair scratches, caused in transport, on my new truck (2022). These were scratches toward the passenger side roof. After 3 weeks, I picked up my truck from the dealer and noticed swirled scratches on the rear passenger door and window. It looked like someone wiped the truck with a towel that had a rock in it. Upon further inspection, the entire passenger side of the bed was covered with overspray. You could feel it and see it when the light was just right. The scratches on the side were mostly buffed out, I can still see where the clear coat was rubbed away. The window was scratched deep enough to where the dealer had to replace it. The truck was also covered with smudges of white paint throughout that had to be removed. Also, in the interior on the floor mats. It was a mess. I find it hard to understand how both Terry's and my dealer missed all of this when delivering a vehicle. This was a total lack of attention to detail and not caring about the job. read more

I worked with Linas after my F150 Raptor had a couple of unfortunate scrapes ($17k total damage). Terry's made every effort to ensure my truck looked 100% factory, including respraying the line-X, reshooting my 4 stage paint to look factory, welding new aluminum panels and keeping me updated throughout the process. When I picked up my truck, it had been fully detailed despite leaving full of dirt from Yuma lol. I highly recommend Terry's for all high end Ford jobs. read more

This started off going good but then ended like many a money grubbing business does, not good. Brought my car in after a hit and run and they provided a quote for 7k, then after pulling it apart piece by piece they drove the price of the repair went to 8k than 10k then to over 11k. I get it that estimates can change but that is a big change and if they started out at 11k insurance would have totaled it. That is not all though. During this increase the estimate process insurance said they wanted me to pay for some of a part, an axle because it has use to it? I told Bruce that sounded odd to me he agreed and said he would talk to the insurance company about it. I never heard back and then weeks later after I picked it up and paid my total I get a call saying you owe $192.00. I told them a little late to be coming to me with that. I cant do anything with insurance now? They said they would back charge my insurance and then they would charge me if I didn't pay. I told them this seemed like an oversight on their part and that maybe we could work something out? With the extras I had them do beyond the insurance claim the total came to over $12k do you think we could split the $192? Bruce talked to his boss and he said Nope, No way. I want my money! The reason I write this entire review is that you really learn about a company when things go wrong. This told me everything I needed to know about them. This was their problem, we could have done more during the process but after was too late. I was willing to work with them but a money grubber they are. So while this was a small issue it made me understand how they would operate even more if you had a bigger problem. I will NOT be coming back to this company for anything, other than to drop off a check for $192.02. I also must add this last little grip. When I came to pick up the car it was totally dusty and dirty. Not something you want to see when you pick up your car that has literally been half repainted. Hard to tell how the paint job was. read more

A week ago my AC condenser (which they've replaced during that repair) has cracked due to the manufacturing defect and they've easily replaced it with the new one. Geico recommended Terry's auto body in Oceanside, CA Fairly extensive repairs were needed and when repairs were completed paint and body work were top notch and I'm a nit picker when it comes to stuff like this. Bruce my adviser was on top of things and kept me posted along the way and Julie at the front desk went above and beyond getting us information from the other parties AAA insurance that we were tried to get for more than a week. After a crash I had my car towed here. They took great care of it! Went through extra trouble to get the matching wheels (which was time consuming and I'm sure frustrating for them to procure!) since one was cracked in the crash and couldn't be fixed. My experience was fantastic. Great communication from Julie in the office even though we had some confusing circumstances about ownership/responsibility of the car. She handled it with grace. Very polite, great customer service! A few days after pick up I heard a weird noise from under my feet but I ignored it, thinking "it's new parts, they probably just need to be used a bit and the sound will go away" it didn't go away so I called half way thinking I was being picky/neurotic, they got me in the next business day, investigated, find the issue, fixed it quickly on the spot and confirmed that I wasn't crazy and there was a sound coming from the car.
