This is the first time I have been to a cold stone and I will be going back! Being that they have…read morean assortment of flavors that typical ice cream shops don't have, I was undecided on which flavor to get but the young ladies let me try a couple. I decided on sweet cream, ordered my families ice cream and got up to the register with my groupons on my phone. That is where everything went sour (so I thought). My groupon literally disappeared eventhough I had email confirmation of purchase and another email with a button to "redeem now " Nothing worked. The young ladies were so helpful not only trying to help with looking at my groupons but finally (after just asking to pay to avoid holding up the line) she offered to just let me go on the honor system and I call groupon(30min wait) then redeem at home. That was so nice so the second groupon called me back I was sure to not only get the issue resolved but have them redeem the vouchers immediately. The ice cream was good and the experience was cool too. They put it on a marble slab and mix the ingredients together which I thought was mighty cool.

Not impressed. First time at this location .. second experience with the brand…read more Went in got Oreo overload : Sweet Cream Ice Cream with Chocolate Chips, double the OREO® Cookies and Fudge. Looked ok. I got it to go with a waffle bowl. My cousin got 2 ice creams as well. We were 3 miles away from the house. Although it was hot outside.. my ice cream should not have melted to the point where I could have poured it in a cup and drank it like a milkshake. We attempted to put my cousin's ice cream in the freezer the lid just slid off Ice cream oozing out the cup.. one big melted mess. NEVER WILL I SPEND MY MONEY HERE. Service was ok.. I think the girl that served me was new and didn't understand that I wanted my ice cream in a waffle bowl. So when I was handed the cup I stated I wanted a regular waffle bowl, not the ones that were dipped. But another worker, apologized and gave me the waffle bowl. The waffle bowl, I poured my ice cream in when I got home, mind you half of the small cup I had to pour out bc it was so messy and melted. That was horrible.. I don't partake in " going to get ice cream" often but I would hope that if I drive 3 miles it should at least hold up. Do Better. Not a Fan. Will not Return. That's for me. Go experience for yourself.

They had an assortment of desserts available including cookies, cupcakes, banana pudding and peach cobbler. I ordered two red velvet cupcakes and an orange cranberry cupcake. To my pleasant surprise, I realized that they sell soul food and desserts. The soul food was not displayed, but still available to purchase due to the timing that I came in. The staff was so friendly and hospitable! There is no seating, so come ready to place your to go order and head home. The Saturday menu offered a few entrees and soulful sides, including baked pork chops with gravy, baked chicken, and fried fish. For sides, they had rice, macaroni and cheese, yams, collards and cornbread (and a few others, see a Saturday menu in the photo). They were sold out of baked chicken, so I opted for two pork chop dinners with macaroni, collards and yams for my family. It also included rice and cornbread. I was able to put the gravy on the side. They used sturdy to-go boxes and cupcake containers and nothing leaked out on my way home. I appreciated this a lot, because sometimes restaurants give you a styrofoam box that does not close, causing the sauces and juice from the food to leak out in the bag. The food was AMAZING! It tasted like it was made with love from scratch. I loved the pork chops and gravy, rice and cornbread. A Timeless Treat made the best macaroni and cheese that I've tried at a restaurant in Douglasville or Atlanta area! The portion was enough to have some for dinner and then the next day for lunch. Prepare for a nap after that meal! The red velvet cupcakes were good as well! Overall, I recommend this restaurant. I will be back to try the other items, since the menu rotates based on the day.
