Last week I dropped off our car for a safety check and oil change. I did not have an appointment…read more Ramon, who was working in the "front of the house" welcomed me, gave me his full attention while speaking to me and answered my questions patiently, in spite of the shop being busy on the phone and with other "walk in" customers. My visit was positive in every way, in large part thanks to Ramon. I am thankful to the technician, as well. The car was ready ahead of the scheduled time for picking it up. I recommend this Firestone dealer to everyone. Their mission of keeping older cars running safely and efficiently is demonstrated each time I visit.

Very disappointed with my experience at Firestone in Springfield, NJ on 6/20/2025…read more I went in for an oil change and was told my DieHard Gold battery (installed by them in 4/18/2024) had an acid leak. I was told it was under warranty and I'd only pay $35 for installation. When I went to check out, I was suddenly charged $82.98 due to a "prorated" fee, something that was never mentioned before the work was done. When I questioned it, the person at the counter was rude and dismissive, saying "What do you want me to do, take the battery out?" That's not a real option, it felt like pressure. He gave a fake apology and blamed me for a "misunderstanding," but I was clearly misled. I later confirmed the battery has a 36-month free replacement warranty, and Firestone failed to honor it. On top of that, their attitude was completely unprofessional.

I went in to change the tires on my BMW m240i from 2017…read more 1st: I took the car back and all 4 tires' pressure was off. Around 37psi in the front and 28psi in the back, which are completely wrong considering that on the side of the door it says 35psi front and 40psi back. I talked with a mechanic there and he said to come back another day because the mechanic that installed my tires wasn't there. I told him I had to take a flight and he said it wasn't a problem and i could have come back a later day. 2nd: The vin number said the tires are staggered but i showed the mechanic that my rims and old tires weren't staggered, and he agreed with me and made me buy all 4 new tires the same size. Problem: When I called back complaining about my back left tire being COMPLETELY FLAT he said first that it was because my tires were staggered (he agreed with me that they weren't before the tire change) and then that my rim was bent. I requested the time of exit of the vehicle from the shop and the time of re-entry of the mechanic into the shop so to exclude any joy ride. They tried to change subject multiple times and ultimately told me that they wouldn't have provided it to me. Legal actions have been started to resolve this issue and i will update my review as soon as the verdict comes out. PS: from their responses, I felt like i wasn't the first and only one with this problem, so, after talking with friends that already brought their cars there and further research online, I found out I'm not the only one that had this issue with this particular Malvis store. This store has a long history of joy rides in faster cars so DO NOT BRING YOUR CARS HERE.

I cannot believe how little these employees give a crap. I came in there was not one car I repeat…read morenot one car being worked on. All I needed was an oil change. I was there for an hour and a half no joke no exaggeration. Everybody just walking slowly nobody caring about anything really really pathetic.
