    Very disappointed with my experience at Firestone in Springfield, NJ on 6/20/2025. I went in for an oil change and was told my DieHard Gold battery (installed by them in 4/18/2024) had an acid leak. I was told it was under warranty and I'd only pay $35 for installation. When I went to check out, I was suddenly charged $82.98 due to a "prorated" fee, something that was never mentioned before the work was done. When I questioned it, the person at the counter was rude and dismissive, saying "What do you want me to do, take the battery out?" That's not a real option, it felt like pressure. He gave a fake apology and blamed me for a "misunderstanding," but I was clearly misled. I later confirmed the battery has a 36-month free replacement warranty, and Firestone failed to honor it. On top of that, their attitude was completely unprofessional.

    I made an online reservation yesterday to install four new tires on my 1992 Volvo 240. The "Out The Door Price" was $286.17 and included, among other things, free wheel alignment (see attached). When I got to the shop early for my 12:00 PM appointment I was told it would take at least three hours because of all the cars in front of me. I was told that making an appointment had nothing to do with when my car would be serviced. I was then told the my total cost would be almost $400, including a cost of over a hundred dollars for wheel alignment. When I told the guy that I had gotten a solid price quote from the Firestone website, he told me he "didn't do things online." When I then pressed him, and said that I thought the wheel alignment was included, and that I thought the total was going to be around $250 he just laughed at me. Only after I showed him a saved screenshot of my transaction from my phone did he bring the price down, but not to the amount quoted. He still insisted that it was going to cost around $290, close yes, but again, not the "Out The Door Price" given by his company that he could see right in front of his face. He even said, "Really? You're going to make a big deal over, what...five dollars?", neglecting of course to acknowledge that he had just tried to upsell me a service (for over $100) that should have been already been included in the price. At that point I left, because I didn't want him or his crew to get anywhere near my car. They clearly could not be trusted. I will never, ever again consider giving Firestone my business, and I suggest you do the same. UPDATE: Upon further consideration, and after reading all of the other reviews similar to mine, not just for this location, but other nearby Firestone locations as well, I decided to file a formal complaint against Firestone with the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, Division of Consumer Affairs, calling out their unethical (read: deceptive) business practices.

    Bad service- alignment was worse than before. Never test drive it before they call you. Don't go to this place. First and last.

I was involved in a minor fender bender that impacted the front bumper of my 2020 Tesla Model 3, and decided to employ Peotter's after reading great reviews on this shop. They completed repairs within 1.5 weeks and made extra efforts to allow me to pick up my vehicle even after they lost power after a hurricane hit their area. The exterior hard body work performed looks clean and at the moment I'm satisfied with how it came out. The alignment of the new front bumper with the frunk and headlights looks near perfect and the paint job matches the paint perfectly with the rest of my vehicle. In terms of restored autopilot function, I will have to drive it for a bit longer to properly evaluate if sensors were properly aligned and fixed. When it comes to customer satisfaction, it's not something Peotter's just states on their website to look better. It seems to be a true core value of their business and they act with integrity as a trusted professional deserving of their high star rating. After having a ceramic coating job done on my white interior, I was not pleased with the outcome. Peotter's swiftly reached out to me to address the issue, offered a full refund no questions asked, and requested an opportunity to redo the seats. I fully recommend Peotter's to any Tesla owner in need of autobody assistance.
