When I arrived Chino greeted me. He was extremely friendly and upbeat along with his staff. I told him what was going on with my jeep and he put it on the lift, then after trying a couple things, he told me that I needed to replace my entire fuel pump. I left my vehicle there, and an hour and a half later my jeep was completely fixed as promised. I gave him very little notice. I thought this would take a long time to fix because my gas tank had to be removed in order to get to the fuel pump. They can get parts very easily and they also buy and sell auction cars for a really good price along with fixing mufflers, shocks, breaks, radiators, starters and tires etc. I called chino on my way home because I saw a battery light go on. Chino wanted me to be completely satisfied and he drove to my house and reset the light with a machine. I consider that great service! Chino's Auto Repair is located across the street from the Plainfield Train Station and is on 4th Street. There isn't a lot of parking so it's best to call before you come. The autobody shop, even though they did a great job on the repair, just dismissed me when I asked about the chirp thing. They said to look in my car settings on the dash and adjust it from there. I told them I did and it wasn't the issue but they didn't have any other help to give about it. Mike diagnosed the problem somehow. He saw it was because 1 of the 2 horns in the car was defective. My clutch failed last night on the Parkway and luckily I was able to get it into 2nd gear and hobble home. I call Big A's at 7am telling them that my clutch needs to be replaced and that a flatbed would drop it off if they could fix it. They said the could fix it. Fast forward, I get a call from the mechanic that the car won't start...duh it's a manual and you have to engage the clutch to start the vehicle and the clutch is gone. We went back and forth about it not being the starter and it's definitely the clutch. I told them to replace the starter and when it doesn't start because of the clutch I'll thank you for the free starter. After a heated conversation he finally said that he couldn't fix it and that they aren't equipped to do a clutch. I will never go there for anything, not even a light bulb. The owner agreed to pay for my tow to Samsone Jeep, somewhere who knows what's up. My question to Big A's also was if you were able to start the vehicle by chance, how would you move it? It doesn't go into gear because, guess what...THE CLUTCH. I miss Ray.

My situation changed and this was my 1st time. I was told there was an hour wait and planned accordingly. When I got there Sam checked me in and asked me some questions. There were several mechanics on duty. I sat in the waiting room and could see my car being worked on. The waiting room had a flat screen t.v. and magazines and newspapers to read. I was impressed how polite Sam was with each and every customer. He explained throughly what was wrong with the vehicle and what should be done to fix it. I presented two different coupons that I found online. This helped to keep my cost down. I thought my blinker light bulb had to be replaced but Sam informed me that is was only a loose wire which they connected at no charge.
