Right from the time my towing was scheduled, an associate promptly called to inform the timing of the pick up and later when the towing driver Lucky Singh showed up, he handled the car so well and got it dropped off at the service center ahead of time. For the last job done, I got a quote at C&L Autobody before going to Plains Auto. C&L didn't give me the time of day and created incorrect estimates. After I went to Plains Auto and did the work with them, they did a perfect job for significantly less cost than what C&L would've charged. When I got my car back, I was actively looking for imperfections, misalignments, mismatched color, etc and I couldn't find a single flaw in their work. Look at the attached photo, the car you see there was previously deemed a total loss by my insurance. It now looks and drives perfectly. This was my experience with J&E Autobody. To start it took 7…read moreweeks to fix my wife's car. After 7 weeks we finally got the call that the car was "ready". By the time we got there it was already dark so I couldn't really see what had been repaired on the car. The next morning I started looking around the car and I noticed that the bumper they had replaced had multiple scratches in the front. The splash guard that was damaged during the accident was still the same and it had not been replaced. The underbody shield that was also damaged in the accident was also not replaced. All of these parts were on the preliminary supplement and were paid by my insurance company $118.41 for the underbody shield and $34.51 for the splash guard. All of these parts should of been replaced but J&E Autobody did not replace them. Also, the calibration on the car and the alignment was completely off. I was driving on the Parkway and the car kept moving from side to side on it's own while I was trying to keep the car straight. Very scary. They did not detail the car inside or out and the interior of the car was all dirty, even though they charge the insurance company a cleaning fee. I leave it up to you to come up with your own conclusion, but I will not be using this body shop going forward. I had a very bad experience with them.
