Had two thin slices. Was just ok. They do the "premake everything and add toppings and reheat" model, which would be fine, but three things happened - the pizza was warm, not hot. The topping were not in any way secured to the top and literally all fell off when i picked up a slice. Part of why they fell off was the lack of any substance to the crust, which was floppy to the point of almost feeling wettish. Pics uploaded. So what would have been three star pizza turned into a 2 star trip because they also do the "coke by the can" thing. read more

We were doing the train trip from Blue Ridge, Georgia with a two hour layover here and went to Kenny's for some lunch. Small little place right across from the train station my daughter ordered a salad and was very pleased with that. My wife and myself shared a seafood basket. I have to say I was skeptical, but very pleasantly surprised they actually hand battered the seafood and it was nothing but delicious. My wife is picky and she was real pleased with the seafood basket. Under appetizers, we had meatballs in sauce with cheese outstanding it's a must have. Service was good. prices were reasonable good. My only regret is we did not try pizza hey, there's always next time. read more

While Kenny's has always been our go to for pizza on Friday night, we never thought they would be able to put out a good breakfast too. We don't often go out for breakfast, but had to run into town so stopped in to give it a try. My husband had the sampler which was more than one person should eat. He finished it too quick for a picture. I had the eggs Benedict, and it was perfect. If I had any complaint, it would be too much hollandaise, but other folks might like sauce more than me. The hash browns were cooked perfectly. Even though I'm not a fan of sausage gravy, I tasted his and it was delicious. The fluffy biscuit put it over the top. read more

Sadly Kenny sold the restaurant and the new owners/workers are not doing a good job. The guy who is taking orders over the phone is extremely incompetent and rude. The past two times we've ordered, our orders were completely messed up. (This, after 10 years without issues under the old owner.) We had to drive back twice to get the ordered fixed and they did not offer anything to make it right, like a free appetizer next order or 25% off the ticket or anything. Just a stoner apology and a shrug. So sad to see this business fall so quickly. read more

We stopped for lunch on a Friday. I ordered the 'philly bomb', my husband ordered the meat stromboli and we were both delighted. My cheese was both generous and completely melted, onions and meat were perfect but the mushrooms were to die for. There were large pieces which were very flavorful. My husband laughingly complained his stromboli was "hot" but then sheepishly added "after all, it was cooked to perfection." We will certainly come back next time we are here. read more

We had just exited the Blue Ridge Scenic RR for a 2-hour layover in Mccaysville. This place is across the street from the station exit. We were both hungry, so we went in to check it out. It appears to be family owned. We reviewed the menu. I opted for their burger (though they had a pizza lunch special that sounded good) and my wife got a fired fish sandwich. We both got fries, which was a mistake. They give you a ton of fries; we could easily just have split one order, but no big deal. My burger was huge, bigger than expected. It was also messy, in a good way. Another 2 couples came in after we did, and one guy was marveling at the burger (in anticipation of getting his order). I managed to finish it (thanks in part to a light breakfast that day). It was good! This place is not fancy but they know how to cook and, based on my one-time experience, you're unlikely to leave hungry! read more
