This is the longest review I have ever written! We are locals and were so excited and hopeful to try this place out! Very Disappointed. Went there at 10:30 am Sunday to buy baked goods to take home. Bakery items looked awesome, however, were pricey. Bought a few items and left. Because the shop was busy I figured it must be good and I wanted to try it out. I went home, picked up my my husband and went back at noon for a late breakfast. Big mistake. Walked in, no one greeted us. After standing there for a few minutes asked the person at the counter if we should seat ourselves and was told "yeah." After about 10 minutes the person that said "yeah" finally came over to the table and took our order. There were two other couples in the restuarant at this time. The crowd of people I saw earlier were gone. Point being, it was not busy at this time, however, almost 30 mins had past before we got our meals. Had to ask for silverware, napkins, salt & pepper, and butter after food was served. A woman walked by and asked in a general manner if everything was ok. We did not get knives in the silverware packet so I asked her for knives and also asked if she were the ohwner. This person explained that she was the general manager and not the owner. After she gave me the knife she apologized and said "we are still working the kinks out." Silverware should not be considered a kink in my opinion! My pancakes were good and a nice sized portion. My husband's omelet- not so good. Very small and overcooked. Coffee was good. Our waitress never came back to our table after taking our order. I had to go to her to get our check. Will never go back. As indicated, bakery items were awesome. Maybe they should stick to the bakery and not meals! read more

Stopped in for the first time yesterday for a quick bite! Cute coffee shop/bakery vibe on the water! The cakes displayed looked delicious and I meant to ask if they were made onsite but forgot! We ended up splitting a wrap and it came out looking super fresh and stuffed with savory filling! My husband and I agreed that it was very tasty! We had planned on also getting one of the craft beers listed on the menu but apparently they only had Stella available - so we skipped the beer! We decided to try one of the delicious looking cookies on display and we were not disappointed- delicious!!! Hopefully they get their draft beer situation fixed as the spot on the water is perfect for chilling out! I'll be back to try out some of their coffee drinks next time! read more

Sorry but this place is not good. Sad because it sits on the river with a pleasant atmosphere. Waitress had no clue and had the attitude she knew it but didn't care. Brought no silverware and messed up my tea order. Tried to order one of the three wraps on the menu but they were out. This was at 12:30. We were the only ones there during lunch hour, should have known!! read more

I can't believe the first review.. first two choices server responded they didn't have Had to end up ordering a breakfast at 2 pm Presentation was appalling eggs delivered broken toast not even toasted ugh Found out no regular cook he had left.. for good Coffee Luke warm.. My wife ordered salad.. what a joke chicken was supposed to be grilled hot Arrived stone Cold no lettuce or salad display looked horrible all in a small dish side salad plate for $12 .. rip off I ignored the red flag .. place was empty !! My family and I have visited this restaurant several times. Due to being able to sit beside the river on the porch, we have given it several chances. This morning, we went to have coffee and a light breakfast. We waited for a while for our drinks. When they arrived we were told my daughter's toast would be right out. Over the course of the next hour, we were approached by 3 different staff members who all said they would check on it. After an hour passed, my husband went in and asked for the toast. It was finally served,without butter or any utensils or napkins. We will not be going back!!! read more

Looked great! Some of it tasted great and some was just too old. The cheesecake was excellent as was the chocolate cake. We purchased multiple items that we brought home for guests coming to visit. I was really looking forward to the scones I had purchased. I went to pinch an edge off for a taste. They were hard and dried out. Not just stale around the edges hard but almost unbreakable hard. I had to use both hands to break it in half. They went straight in the trash. While most of the items we purchased were good, that left me with bad taste regarding this bakery. I may visit again and have a dessert there, but I won't make any future purchases to bring home. read more
