We came to this playground as it was recommended as the best one in the Kenosha area and I definitely think this is likely true! My kid spent quite a bit of time playing here. It was pretty darn busy on a beautiful summer day when we visited and I was happy there was a picnic shelter with tables and restrooms nearby. It was a lovely recreation opportunity for the kid with lots of places to climb and lots of things to interact with. read more

The best playground we have ever visited!!! The playground and restrooms were surprisingly clean, especially seeing the number of people here. Our two year old could have played another hour, and still would have been entertained as there is so much to do!!! All different types of ramps, walkways, swings, slides, climbing and even a "spinny thing!!" This playground is also visually very beautiful and lots of seating for the parents. Yes, there was a couple teenagers playing a bit rough, however it is summer break and that is to be expected. Many more kids and toddlers and a friendly environment when we visited!!! Wow. This is by far the best playgrounds I have even been too, and I have been to a LOT. There are a few different areas one for smaller kids, and one for kids closer to age 5. There are also several different instruments for the kids to play with. Everything here was impeccable, not a broken piece of turf to be found. There was someone cleaning the playground one day when we arrived. We went in the morning, so it was not overly crowded, although I would imagine it can get that way. Great play structures here. This park was built with funding from local businesses and families in the Kenosha area. Many were designed to be able to allow children confined to wheel chairs to be able to play. They have a swing set and a merry go round designed to be wheel chair friendly. This park will bring out the kid in everyone. Great job City of Kenosha and all the donars who made this park possible. I have never seen a park designed for those with special needs and this has been done very well. read more

This park is one of the coolest playgrounds I have ever been to. I wish IL had parks this cool. We had stopped at the outlet malls in the morning to pick up some shoes and a coat. We didn't feel like heading home just yet so I hopped on Yelp and found a park nearby since my 3 yr old wanted to play at the park we saw at the welcome center, but I figured there had to be something a little better than that. We had a blast here. We spent a good hour/hour and half at the park. Considering it's the middle of December I think that's a decent amount of time. My 3 yr did not want to leave she would've gladly stayed and played for 8 hours lol. We will definitely be back in warmer weather to play. I loved how inclusive this park was. They had Braille, ASL alphabet, a wheel chair swing and a spin ride with wheel chair accessibility. The park was split up into two parts and completely enclosed with one entrance/exit. As a parent I loved that. So many parks I've been to are open or have more than one entrance. read more

This has to be the best playground for kids I've ever visited for many reasons. It is great for smaller kids because of the fencing around the perimeter of the playground. More importantly there is only one exit and one entrance so parents can be aware who is coming and going into the park at all times. There is video surveillance, a soft rubber surface, safety fencing, handicapped accessible rides, and durable weather proof surfaces instead of wood. Most equipment has different sizes for different aged children. There are also strategically placed benches for optimal parental supervision throughout the interior of the park. The park is split in sections for toddlers to the right of the entrance and kids about ages 4-up to the left. There are several covered benches and picnic tables in case of rain. I found the restrooms clean with ruhnning water in the pavilion. There were no concessions or soda Machines nearby and the nearest parking lot is approximately one block away. There are drinking fountains. This park is practically brand new and I found nothing broken. My five-year olds experience was wonderful. read more

Fantastic playground! Clean and safe. Stimulating to the young mind and gets them physically active. My grand baby loves it!!!

Love Love love Hard work truly paid off for the kiddo's!! What a great community Kenosha is to get such a giant project like this completed. Watching all the smiling kids makes your heart melt. There is so much detail in the design. Wish naughty teens would leave it alone after hours and not destroy all the hard work. Maybe a security guard is needed. Might also help during the day to keep the rough kids/teens out. read more
