    a pepperoni and mushroom pizza

We were pressed for time but needed to feed 9 people. We called Ken's Pizza a head of time. They do have dine in service. Our pizza was ready within 5 minutes of arriving. The pizza was fantastic. Crispy crust and not overly greasy. They have a small salad bar with fresh veggies. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Nice little pizza place off the turnpike.

Taking a trip on Route 66? Maybe you're just driving through Chandler? Either way, Ken's is the place to satisfy your pizza cravings and has been since the 60s! They have special deals for dinner for 2 or 4. We went with the pepperoni pizza with garlic bread and decided to opt for salads also. Fairly good selection for the salad bar, though some dressings weren't labeled. The best part was the pizza dough. You can tell it's homemade. Just a hint of crunch with loads of fresh taste in the original style crust. It wasn't lacking in the cheese or sauce department either. I was satisfied in all aspects.

My sister and I returned to Ken's last Saturday. We had the salad bar and wings of fire. The chicken wings were so crispy and juicy, the ranch dressing perfect, and the salad bar was great except that some of the cucumbers looked a bit watery. The new manager Bobbi cane by and introduced herself and encouraged us to let her know if we needed anything, had complaints or suggestions. Our waitress, DeeDee, was great.

Holy moly! Me and my dog just needed some food when we found out our fridge had failed! The girls at Ken's came through in every way! Very nice and professional! And super friendly! Btw, they were super friendly, and I almost drove back through for company! The girls were very nice!

Burnt food. Slow service. 20 minutes for nachos.

Stocked with everything you would expect: sweet, savory salty snacks, soda, beer, fryer food, and a few Route 66 trinkets. Get there early in the day for their best and most famous offering, Arbuckle Fried Pies. Yes, those world famous crusty folded and fried pockets of fruit filled heaven. On an unwavering mission, we rounded the corner east bound on Route 66 late in the afternoon. Our destination in sight, the Old Magnolia Garage. In I go, straight to the big fried pie display case. I really wasn't expecting to find anything left at this time of the day, but there they were, two blackberry pies. Somehow, they survived the morning feeding frenzy. They were immediately adopted, along with a strawberry. Tomorrow's breakfast delight. Nope, not as good as if I had been there when they came from the fryer, but good just the same with a fresh cup of coffee the next morning. Get there early!
