i come from a small town and am used to the same person who has changed my oil for years. we've been on a first name basis and he always knew what i needed. i was nervous to try something new and a chain at that. i felt comfortable here! there was no wait, the man that greeted me was polite and explained the process. i waited in the lounge and Junee (I believe) was sweet and explained choosing an oil and replacing my filters. we also chatted about other things and it was a nice pastime. I didn't feel pressured and the prices were explained well, she gave me a coupon they had going on as well. When my oil change was complete (15 mins) I was so happy to find my floorboards vacuumed, my previously low rear tire filled w the proper amount of air, and I was out of windshield wiper fluid, they filled this as well! I called and received price from KJ on 9/14. Asked for complete brake/rotor replacement, front and back, with break fluid refill. He gave me a price and led me to believe, in no uncertain terms, that this would be the full price. When my husband took it in this morning, 9/17, it was going to be twice the price. I called KJ and confronted him and his response was denial and then he hung up on me when I told him I would be reporting this to social media. I thought this place was pretty decent until my last trip. The person at the counter always try's to upsell every service they offer. I'm ok with that though. Here is my issue They sold me a cabin and engine air filter telling me they only made a couple dollars on them. Turns out after I was home I checked and they didn't even replace the cabin filter I paid for. I return and was told I would have to go to autozone and pick it up myself. I seen the receipt and they charged me double what it cost. Best of all the counter person told me he thought the tech smoked weed on his lunch breaks and that's why he forgot to put in the filter they didn't even have in stock. Who would tell a customer they thought their employees get high and work on your vehicles. Next they told me my brake pads only had 4mm of material left and tried to sell me a $180 brake job. So I ordered new pads online and went to install them and would you believe I had over 9mm of pad left, checked with my digital calipers. Will not be returning to this establishment. read more

Go in for an oil change- leave 3 hours later with a bleeding bank account! I cannot urge you enough to never bring your vehicle here. I only intended to get an oil change and they began trying to sell me all kinds of things I probably didn't need. However, I know I did need my spark plugs replaced, so when they offered me a good discount on that service I accepted. ...and then another charge for necessary parts that weren't included with the quote they gave me. The full service- oil change and spark plugs, was only supposed to take 45 minutes. It literally took over THREE HOURS! I fell asleep AND my phone died. They offered the smallest apology of all time but did offer a free coil pack ($54). Thing is, my car doesn't run any better than before. Got a quote, but my husband said he knew of a place that was cheaper.. so we took our car there (Mike's Automotive Service). Now what takes it up a notch is that I noticed my oil leaking today and went to pay them a visit about it today. Well I was prepared to pay maybe $20 or something for their time, but they didn't charge me & replaced the cap that was originally causing the leak, plus they remembered me. Jiffy Lube : THIS IS NOT A WAY TO RUN A A BUSINESS: $1750 Brakes and Rotors at Jiffy Lube. Went to this place to get front brakes and rotors changed for almost $400 and ended up paying more than if I had never had them fixed. As I riding down the highway I hear a click, I pull over my 2018 Highlander and it has a major rattle and grind that I can smell. I immediately take it to the nearest mechanic who informs me that the bolt for the caliper is missing which has managed to scratch and ruin my rim also. I am also informed that I can not take the car because it is a major hazard. I call and ask Jiffy Lube what they planned to do about this issues and was told by DM Joshua Steele that basically I messed up because I didn't bring the car 15 miles out of the way to them to be looked at. I explained first I did not know what was wrong with it. I figured it couldn't be the breaks and rotors because you just fixed them. Josh basically told me that since I did not bring it back to them so they could screw it up again, he would not pay for it, and ended the conversation by hanging up on me before saying SUE ME! When going to a quick lube type place, you always expect them to upsell you something. It's irritating, but expected. My problem is, almost one year ago I paid to have my front and rear brakes changed and less than 20,000 miles later, I had a severe shimmy when braking. I took my car back and the rear brakes supposedly had worn down to metal on metal while my front brakes were still pristine. I had already (accidentally) called a different location who confirmed the brakes were still under warranty, but this location told me first that I only ever paid for front brakes. I had to prove to him that I did pay for both. Then, he says they're not under warranty anymore. I had to prove to him that their warranty is 24 months/24,000 miles. After all was said and done, I spent another $110 for labor for them to do a service they m8at likely didn't do in the first place. read more

Went within the last month. Great experience. I believe the gals name was Chloe that greeted me and took care of my experience. She came out to my car soon as I pulled up and asked me what I needed. Then escorted me into their rather small waiting area. Within a few minutes of gentleman came in with my filters to show me why they needed to be replaced. I decided to hold off on those and he was kind and went back to finish my vehicle. After a total 20 minutes my vehicle was done with oil change. Chloe rang me up and also helped me utilize coupons to keep the price are very reasonable. My car was pulled up just outside the door and ready for me after I paid. I can tell you that the price I paid was much less than the big box store where you can get groceries and get your car fixed at the same time. I had been there earlier in the day and they said it was going to be a two hour wait so I went somewhere else and found Jiffy Lube on my search. It was a great alternative and I think I will be going back for my next visit! read more

I was just looking to get my oil changed and that's it, but apparently the guy working there thought that he could sell me a whole lot more services just, because I am a 24 year old woman. He kept talking to me about all the things I needed which totaled to $500! I told him no I just want the oil change please. I left Jiffy Lube with a $60 oil change!! That's crazy high! The workers mood also changed when I told him no to the $500. My receipt says that they vacuumed and washed my windows, which they did not. Very disappointed in the service here. They open at 7 so I came at 7 am. The worker there told me his opener hadn't arrived yet, okay no problem. Waited 48 minutes outside for this opener to still arrive to end up calling the shop and asking what time he should be arriving to only be told by the worker that he wasn't sure when his opener would arrive to begin an oil change. Do not stop here. I called the business and requested a quote for a lube and filter while parked at the curb in front of the business. I spoke with Matt and he quoted a price and offered a $9.00 discount if I came in today. I told him I was parked outside and would take him up on his offer. I parked outside the building about 20 feet from the entrance to the service bay and waited. I then saw another car pull in front of me and he was greeted and went to the office with Matt. I pulled up to the bay and Jose asked if I wanted a lube and oil. I said I had already spoke with Matt and yes I did. I asked to speak with Matt due to the 20 wait time. Matt said he waved me over and I did not respond. Service is when you walk 20 feet over to speak with a customer who was waiting and did not see any attempt to be directed to pull in. When I told him I did not see him wave he decided to let me sit there and wait for 20 minutes. I was not happy with the overall price at the Jiffy Lub in Western Ave In Oklahoma City location closes to 89th street. First of all over priced never in my life have I paid 114 dollars for an oil change with filters included at any point in my life with any of my Vehicles. First they thought belonged to someone in California, then they said the last person who owned my car purchased the high Premium oil for high mileage. Well I have owned my 2008 Santa Fe since 2009 and so that statement is false. My automatic has changed my oil for years and I never paid more than 50 and that was with new filters. I was afraid to not let them continue with my car oil change because it was in their Possen and they said if I went with a lower oil it could blow my engine. I miss my Mechanic he retired. I will NEVER take my vehicle to this place again!! I took my vehicle and received a routine oil change. I noticed after that my car was leaking oil. I took my vehicle back to the location and was told there was no leak and that the worker most likely didn't wipe anything down after changing the oil and it was excess dripping. My car continued to leak so I again took it back to the location. I was told this time that there was a leak and it was caused from a crack in a plastic part that hold the oil (or something of that nature) and that my vehicle is the ONLY make that has this plastic part instead of a metal one. I asked why this crack was not brought to my attention during the initial oil change (they try to get you to replace everything else) and why it wasn't noticed when I returned explain that my vehicle was now leaking oil? I was told, I don't really know. Are you kidding me right now? I was then told its not really visible without taking a lot of things apart. I asked the worker, so you took my car apart to find this leak? He said no, I could take it apart but it would take about 3 hours... My next question, if its not visible without taking the car apart and you didn't take it apart, how did you find the leak? Why didn't the other worker find the leak? He did not know. I then told them to get my car out of the shop and I was leaving. I called cooperate but you have to fill out a complaint online, which I did. They have 24-48 hours to reply with a response, we shall see. In the mean time my car is leaking oil due to the incompetency and negligence of the workers at this location. Would give this no stars if I could. I saw a groupon for a $19 basic oil change and bought it since my car was going to be due soon. I went into jiffy lube and they did not tell me they wouldn't honor the coupon until AFTER they already started on a SYNTHETIC $80 oil change on my car. They said that they would give me $50 off of the total, making my total $30 after already paying the $19 for the coupon. After they begged and pleaded me to get new tires, they started offering me services for my car at a discount price because I was "too pretty to be getting my oil changed alone". So inappropriate. Definitely will never return to any jiffy lube anywhere. Turns out they never even changed the oil or filter. Here I am 2,000 miles later needing an oil change when it's not supposed to be due for another 8,000. Terrible establishment and experience. read more

Today I had a mixed review kind of experience. My van needed a good once over for scheduled maintenance. I had planned on an oil change and tire rotation. Upon entering the office area it was very welcoming. He told me they would check all my fluids and get back to me with what all could/would need to be filled or changed. No problem. He showed me on the computer after checking on my make and model veh the recommended services. The transmission fluid was well past due. Okay so if I only had oil changed it would cost 66.99 +tax for the recommended extended mile oil. A tire rotation is 24.99 +tax. Transmission fluid is 209.99 +tax if I had it done on its own but they offered me: if I purchased the trans fluid change that they would give me a free oil change, free cabin filter, and free brake fluid. Fine I approved that. Then I reminded I wanted the tires rotated. That was a 24.99 + tax fee. No problem. After removing the tires to rotate they noticed that my brakes were in urgent need of replacement. He told me this was a $320.??+ tax service but that they had a Groupon for 149.99 (which was a 249.99 value) I could purchase and they would honor it same day & have everything done in about an hour. I agreed. I purchased the Groupon separately. In my mind I'm adding: $209.99 for trans fluid plus agreed upon oil change, brake fluid, & cabin filter w/o add'l charge $24.99 for tire rotation 149.99 for Groupon/front brakes and rotors Anyway, I felt I was making a pretty good decision in everything that needed to be serviced until the end. He told me my total was $552.68. The end total. He said that was with my Groupon $249.99 deducted. I was alarmed that I would be paying 552.68 in addition to the 149.99 (Groupon purchase) bringing my days total out of pocket expense to: $702.67! I couldn't add it all up in my head and account for what was deducted where and that they had given me all the discounts promised as the office person was fast talking non stop for me to figure out what the receipt reflected. Each deduction isn't itemized by the way. It showed 775.15 Gross Sales & that they had deducted -255.00 but had not itemized from where those deductions took place. I ended up allowing him to run my credit card for what I thought was the 552.68 total and left very dissatisfied. Upon time to review the receipt and checking my banking account my credit card was ran for 302.69 from Jiffy Lube & 149.99 from Groupon. That is more of what I had expected. Had the gentleman helped me understand their receipt and had told me the correct amount my card would be charged all the frustration and hassle could have been avoided. I had planned on giving them a high star review today and comment about how hard they worked to help me save money but my experience with the office personnel made this experience very displeasing. I tried to voice that I did not understand the receipt and every time he repeated the total was 552.68. I think there was a failure in communication and he wasn't understanding why I couldn't grasp how much I owed. I hope this serves as a learning experience for this location in my review. Pulled up a coupon online that offered $22 off an oil change. So I asked one of the guys working there if they would honor the coupon and he told me yes. So I went in to the waiting area, there were a couple of ladies there getting service also. So I told them about the coupon I found online so they could save on the oil change. Another guy who worked at the lube center came in to wait on the ladies. They told him they had a coupon for money off the oil change. This employee tells the ladies they will not honor it and gives her some crap story about how oil has gone up and they would lose money if they honored the coupon. I'm listening to this while we're all in the waiting area and so I speak up and tell the employee that the other guy (also an employee) said y'all would honor the coupon and he continues on about they can't honor it and these other employees have already gotten in trouble in the past for honoring the coupon. So now I'm pissed!! Because I wouldn't have agreed to the oil change without the coupon. When the ladies came back and sat down they new I was not happy and I told them this ain't over yet!! I'm just trying not to cause a scene until I have no choice. At that moment a 3rd employee comes in to the waiting room and tells me he will fix me up on the computer outside in the service area. So I walk out there and without me saying anything he ask about my coupon and gives me the $22 off my oil change. By this time I'm on to the scam!! So when I'm done I walk back into the waiting area and tell the ladies that he just called me outside and honored the coupon for me. All of us knowing why I was called out side was because they didn't want the ladies to hear them honor my coupon but not theirs. I really felt bad for the ladies, not only did they not honor the coupon, they were trying to tell them they needed all this extra stuff and services trying to run up the bill! I wish I could say that was it, as if that's not enough BUT. When I go to check out the 2nd employee (who told the ladies he wouldn't honor the coupon and tried to run up the bill) rings me up for a total of $41. I immediately stop him and tell him he's wrong. The regular oil change Jiffy lube offers is $43.99. With $22 off the regular price that brings the price to $21.99 (the oil change price only includes 5 qrts. It's an additional $8 if your vehicle requires 6. I already knew this prior to oil change and agreed) so $21.99 + $8 for the extra qrt. +$1 for old oil disposal comes to $30.99 + tax. This guy is trying to add this up on a calculator 3 times!! And I've done it in my head and told him what the price is!! Needless to say will never go back and the ladies I talked to said they would never return. So beware, if you go here to get service. Make sure you get the price settled first. And you may want to know a little about your car. Because they will tell you at least 10 items that need to be replaced on your vehicle and most you can replace yourself at 1/4 of the price they will try to sell them to you for. read more

DO NOT LET YOUR CAR OUT OF SIGHT. My daughter took her car in for an oil change. They were busy so she left the car and keys and came back three (3) hours later. When the car was taken in the battery was only two (2) months old (purchased at Wal Mart for $105). Several days after picking the car up the battery bas dead and found to be seven (7) years old. Betweens the time that the battery was installed by me and it was discovered to have been changed ( 3 1/2 months) the only time that the hood had been opened was the three hours that it was at this Jiffy Lube. When I questioned the manager about this, he said that it could not be so, there was no charge on the invoice for battery service...does Jiffy lube have an invoice code for stealing from the customer.
