She helped us get situated and let us know how everything works during the wedding. The place is very cute. It's a barn. It's nice inside. It has a lot of cute lighting and it can fit a decent amount of people. We also used the bridal suite when getting ready and that is absolutely gorgeous. It's very spacious has lots of seating a mini fridge bathroom. It was amazing. They have a house DJ that they recommend you using and he was great. He really got the vibe of our group and kept the night going. I would highly recommend using this place as a wedding venue.

My friends had their wedding at Mystic Creek this September and I was a bridesmaid. We came the night before for the rehearsal. Since the wedding was booked, Mystic Creek went through three wedding planners. The current planner was not very friendly, when we arrived she did not greet anyone. On the other hand the day of the wedding, everything was ready, set up correctly and looked lovely. After the ceremony, while we were taking photos, she arranged to have water was brought out to us and to have drink orders were taken so they were ready for us at the head table. The location worked well for photos. The golf course, trees and lake made natural backdrops for the wedding photos. It was convenient to have both the ceremony and reception at the same location. The ceremony was held outdoor in a patio area with a gazebo. While it is not far from the main building, both the guests and the wedding party drove in golf carts to the location. Everyone I talked to thought that this was fun. The reception hall is windowed on three sides, one side has a covered patio area, the other an open patio area. The back windows overlook the golf course and the lake. I liked the openness the windows brought to the room and it was nice to have a more natural view, rather than a wall as most venues have. They have a small room next to the golf shop for the bridal party to use. They had stated that there was room to get ready, but there certainly was not space in this room. It was more like a bridal waiting area or a place to store the bride/bridesmaid's things in. The room did have a three way mirror. The hors d'oeaures were very good. They had both waiter-passed and a buffet with stuffed mushrooms, quesadilas and fillo wrapped sausages. For dinner there was a steak, chicken or pasta option. I had the steak and thought it was probably the best one I've had at a wedding, it was actually cooked medium. The chicken, however, was very bland. I did not try the pasta but another bridesmaid said it was good. The vegan option was pasta with a red sauce and was apparently so bad it was inedible. Dinner was late and took a long time to serve. The head table had long finished eating when the last table was served. The other major issue was that the staff could not clear the tables quickly enough. The cake was being served and there were still dirty dishes on the table. Not very appetizing. I do not blame the general staff that was working the event. Every staff member I interacted with was polite and friendly. They were also working very hard. I'm not sure if this issue was a result of scheduling/timing/organizational or lack of number of staff. The other issue that occurred was that the Bride and Groom had included Stoli vodka as part of their package. And there was no Stoli. When I asked the Bride about what she thought about service, she mentioned her annoyance about this. There was no notice that they could not provide this and no explanation. Overall, we really liked the venue for the wedding. I do hope they can work out these above mentioned issues that we experienced.

This is a very nicely renovated mansion turned into a woman's club. Like a late 1800's gentleman's club, only for women. There is a locker room/workout room/nursing area, but I did not see them because I am not a woman. They have lectures and groups within the club. They have a full kitchen, and the usual food on offer seemed like you would expect at a starbucks or better. They have drinks, coffee, and wine. The wine was higher end. And they use an ordering app so members at different rooms of the club can order easily. Lots of rooms. Dining and lecture rooms, lounge and club type rooms, conference rooms. A large event room. All really nice. There are smaller serving bars on the second and third floors. Depending on age, annual membership is 600 or 1200 dollars. It looked great. Maybe it could have used more restrooms, but that is sort of reaching for something negative to say.

There are some areas with sidewalks that could use TLC and edging, but all and all the dog parks have the lawns done nicely. Ocassionally rain causes mud puddles, but outside of that there is a lot of field in the areas. The dog park gets pretty busy around 5:30-7 or so. If you have a dog that doesn't do well with a bunch of dogs, I'd stay away from this time. Most dogs are good and get along well with others. Some dogs just don't care for other dogs and that's ok as long as the owner is there. Too many times owners are too busy socializing and don't keep an eye on their dogs. The owner knows their dog exhibits certain behaviors yet doesn't pay attention to the dog at all. I fear something bad will happen. The trash cans should be emptied more often. It's nice they have bags and receptacles all over. Watch as you walk around because there can be quite a bit of poop around.

A lot of goofy & happy dogs running around socializing and having a good time. The people who come here are nice and friendly & understanding. I have not seen a single "aggressive dog" just a few dogs who are talkative or like to play rough which is kind of like how my husky is. No one really gives you a hard time and most dogs here are disciplined. It's always a good time honestly. My dogs can run infinitely, I'm serious.. I've stayed here for 4 hours a few times and she could still run. I take my dogs here so I can exercise myself, and when I get tired it's time to go. They keep the place maintained nice. Everyone cleans up after there pup & people are respectful of others. It does get muddy on rainy days, but they do try to keep the grass trimmed. In the winter the sign says it closes at 7 but I come here frequently after 6:30 and sometimes stay a little after 7 with no hassle. I recommend bringing a bowl and gallon of water so your pup doesn't get dehydrated, there is also plenty of garbage bins and seating areas so you can have a comfortable experience. No food or treats. Also be aware of kennel cough, it's not a bad thing but it does exist and if you don't want your pup to get it, then don't take it to public places. I hope my review makes you excited to go. I love dogs.
