My son and I used to come here to this dental facility, which they used to be a caring dentist, but now I think they'll only care more for the money than anything else. So I stopped going to Kent dental. My son had his wisdom teeth removed and they let him walk out with blood in his mouth, no gauze for his poor mouth, and blood gushing. My son finally told me this recently as we are talking about going back to the dentist. Dr. Tuttle just opened up his practice up in Pinetop close to our house and my wife went for a cleaning today. She also had him take care of a filling she'd been putting off. Staff is inexperienced and educationally immature. dentist is overbooked and does not spend proper time carefully reviewing, discussing and preparing accurate next steps; he only works 3 days out of the week. I've had to make several trips into the office for things that should have been done correctly the first time. social media puts up a good front for more than what this practice really is. there are better qualified dentists in the valley that get it right the first time, or better yet even the second time. recommendation to the dentist- add a couple days of work to your practice, hire more experienced people. read more

After a LOT of research & consultations of local dental studios here in Scottsdale & Phoenix, I settled on Kent Dental to do my top 10 veneers to refresh my smile. My two front teeth never correctly formed and ALL my top teeth were "short" with a lot of gums showing when I smiled big. Not anymore! We created teeth that were much more proportional to my facial features and did gum re-shaping to allow for a balanced grin. Dr Kent listed to my health challenges & genuinely took into considerations my concerns when working on me. Where some dentists would talk over me before I was done with the sentence, Dr Kent took the time to listen & actually implement the solutions. I want to give my sincere gratitude to Kent Dental. My own dentist had given me a temporary bridge while the permanent bridge was being manufactured in the lab. The bridge fell out in less than a week. Unfortunately my dentist was on vacation when the temporary bridge fell out. My dentist's office manager contacted Kent Dental and Dr Kent Tuttle was able to fit me his busy schedule THE SAME DAY ! His office and staff were welcoming and professional and he was able to fix my problem in about an hour. I have been going to Kent Dental for a few years now, and am happy to say I couldn't be more satisfied with the care that I have received. Recently, I went in to the appointment for the six month cleaning, and discovered that I would need two fillings in one of my wisdom teeth (I still have all 4 at 79 years of age!). He suggested that I could have the procedure done with no local anesthesia, if I would approve. I told him that It would be OK but that this would be the very first time without any anesthetic. Absolutely the best dentist ever!!! I am big chicken of going to the dentist until I came here. I needed a root canal and unfortunately this was discovered late on a Friday afternoon. The pain was at the unbearable level by Sunday. So I called the emergency line and Dr Kent meet me at the office right away and performed the root canal. Who knew I would look forward to a dental exam? Dr. Kent, Maggie, et al, have managed to make going to the dentist a delightful experience! It's important to me to support a "small business, neighborhood dentist"! It's a cozy practice; when you enter, they are kind and welcoming. Dr. Kent utilizes all the current technology; definitely keeps on top of his game. He's calming and reassuring, and totally honest when recommending and prioritizing procedures. And remember that hygienist who would preach to you about flossing during the entire cleaning? Or the one who was going to punish you with the probe? Not here. Maggie's teeth cleaning procedure is peaceful, done with the latest techniques, and "maybe" a gentle reminder or suggestion for maintenance. She's more likely to comment on the positive, than negative things going on with your teeth and gums. I truly admire this staff which has excellent customer service, from the front desk, to Dr. Tuttle himself--this team is top notch. They have early morning appointments which are great and they are always on time and prepared. So, no need to miss work. When I first met Dr. Tuttle I was amazed and his bedside manner and he has been consistent ever since. They aren't pushy when selling their products and always are upfront with costs. Unfortunately, despite Dr. Kent's best efforts, I required a root canal. Everyone who has ever had one knows this is not pleasant! I must say that Dr. Kent went above and beyond to make me as comfortable as possible through this process. He took many breaks to allow me to sit up and just relax. When it was over, I became very dizzy and Dr. Kent sat me down and sat there with me until I was stable enough to stand. He literally walked me to the front and would have gone to my car if I had not stopped him. I was very shocked to receive a personal call from him the next day to be sure everything was ok! I have been going here for years, and even prior to the ownership change.  Each time I've received a different hygienist.  However, I have been very specific about my desire to have the same hygienist for cleaning.  They've told me over and over they noted this in my patient file, but they cannot seem to honor it.  Last time when I showed up, once again they had me with a different hygienist, this time who was a temp.  Going to the dentist is never something I look forward to as it is, but not honoring or respecting my wishes, yet telling me they will is unacceptable. read more

Going to the dentist has never been a great experience. I've always been self-conscious about my smile. I felt like a poster child for dental issues. I had two teeth in the upper jaw, next to my two front teeth that never came in, and have had two bridges my entire life to cover the spaces. Over two years ago, I moved to Phoenix for work. Once here, a coworker recommended Harris Dental, saying they were the best in Phoenix, but he was wrong. The team at Harris is the best in Arizona (and Florida, if i lived anywhere else, I'm sure the top rating would follow Dr. Brian Harris). From day one, the ENTIRE team at Harris Dental has been nothing short of phenomenal, always treating me like a Prince, and making me feel at home, and comfortable. I came to Dr. Brian with a request to fix my smile, and get rid of the bridge with two implants. I also wanted to replace old caps with updated material to give a brighter white smile, that looked even across the mouth. The procedure was painless, the implants went in, and the caps now make my smile something out of hollywood. The work he performs and the followup and care of the staff has been amazing. They worked with me on finances, provided multiple options to make sure it was within my budget, and the end product is just awesome. My family, my friends, and every day people compliment me on my smile like never before. I am no longer trying to hide my smile, but show it off with pride. I cant recommend Harris Dental (especially the Hayden road office) highly enough. They have made Phoenix feel like home, and given me a smile that no dentist has accomplished prior. For everyday activities, their hygienists (Steph) are the best in the business, his staff from Jacqueline and Maya make you feel like you are the most important patient in the world, and well, EVERYONE ROCKS.
