Unprofessional and disorganized staff. My wife and I tried this dentist office for the past year. Decided to move on after continued unprofessional experiences and not very welcoming staff members. Overall the staff is dismissive and non empathetic. They also lack basic organization and communication skills. I tried to reschedule a cleaning and also tried to schedule an emergency filling issue. They botched the scheduling and blamed me. No empathy when it came to this issues. Plenty of dentist office in the cave creek area, look elsewhere. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE! After 25 years of having a local dentist taking care of our needs, we were sad to see that he decided to retire. As a result, we were in need of a new dentist. Since we live in Tatum Ranch, we thought you would be the logical choice and we scheduled appointments for my wife and myself. I came in for my appointment on October 6. My hygienist was very nice and professional. Same with Dr. Lyn. I was fairly certain we had found our new dentist. Dr. Lyn found a couple of small cavities and recommended that I have a "deep cleaning". I know I have periodontal disease and am quite familiar with the planing and scaling procedure. I have it done twice. I explained to Dr. Lyn that, due to other, more serious health issues, I would need to think about it for a few days. She seemed to understand. My decision probably would have been to have it done while I had the cavities repaired. I then scheduled my next appointment with the hygenist for another cleaning in six months. Then I went to the front desk to check out. I just retired after 51 years in the medical industry. I have worked with virtually every kind of doctor and virtually every department in hundreds of hospitals across the country. I have never heard of, much less seen, a medical professional tell a patient in no uncertain terms that IF YOU NOT HAVE THIS PROCEDUE DONE, YOU WILL NO LONGER BE WELCOMED AS A PATIENT! That was exactly what Tammy told me. I had to have the deep cleaning done before any additional appointments. When I calmly expressed my opinion that this should be my decision, she rudely said "no, it isn't". I told her I would probably not be back. Again, in a very arrogant tone, asked if I wanted to cancel my wife's appointment as well. Yes, mam! I don't know if Tammy just thinks she runs the place or if is just their policy designed to increase profits. Either way, can you imagine telling any of your doctors that you want to think about a recommended procedure and then him/her telling you that if you don't do it, you will no longer be their patient? read more

Over the phone, the office manager, Tammy was completely rude and unprofessional. If this is the first point of contact for future clients, these dentist will lose a lot of business. read more

Today was my first visit to Tatum Ranch Dental Care & I can't be more excited about my experience! I called yesterday evening for my daughter, they got her in this morning for an emergency root extraction due to a poorly done root canal (by a dentist we will NEVER visit again). We walked in only to be greeted with a warm, friendly, comfortable & clean atmosphere. Dr. Schnieder has a fabulous bedside manner, as she welcomed me to sit in with my "adult" daughter during her procedure. She kept us well informed before, during, & after the extraction.
