His two-man installation crew are very good and installed the carpet sooner than I expected. They had the old carpet removed and the new one installed very quickly. They put the furniture we couldn't move ourselves back in place where they were before the install. They asked me where a couple of furniture pieces went if they weren't sure. We did have to remove all of the items that were inside the furniture (bookcases and hutch). This was so the furniture would be easy to move. They had everything cleaned up and vacuumed up so that the area the rug was installed in was better than before they started. I would highly recommend this company!

Holding them side by side they feel different in your hands and are different shades as well (although both considered "elliptical oak"). Best Laminate insists this is not an error on their part and it is just made in different places. I was trying to match the "Pro" flooring I have. Nowhere on the online listing does it say the word "Original", but it does say "Pro". I feel this was an error on their part. I did not order a swatch because it said "Pro" and the number/color matched. They are allowing me to return it, but I do have to pay shipping both ways which will come out to be about $300-400. This was a huge hit for me being a single mom of 3 already having to pay for the floor restoration after a water leak. PLEASE order a sample before buying from them to be sure that it matches. I would honestly check your local stores rather than order from Best Laminate. They charged me 630+ the shipping for what my local Carpet Exchange gave me for $350 total and shipping wasn't necessary.

It seems like every other day I find another piece of tape, more dust, or cigarette butts. They did a great job on the floor and that's what really matters but after they left I spent HOURS wiping walls, countertops, molding, windows; seriously, hours. The mess of dust that was left in one of the bathrooms was ridiculous, it was literally caked to the countertops. I spoke to others who've had their floors refinished and none of them reported any significant amount of cleaning. If they had cleaned up after themselves as well as they had serviced the floors then I would absolutely recommend them. However, I cannot with the amount of time that I had to spend cleaning up after the job. Update: I keep finding unpleasant surprises from these guys. Just came across some brush spray marks from the floor stain behind one of the doors.

Within an hour, Jon called us back and gave us some options for our floors as well as an estimate based on our measurements and description of the condition of the floors. We then set up an appointment for the NEXT DAY for Jon to take a look. He was on time and professional referencing both myself and my boyfriend who wasn't able to be there by name. He was informative and attentive, taking measurements, and answering all of my questions with patience. He provided a verbal estimate and then emailed it to me later that day. After receiving the emailed estimate, I called him to confirm when he would be able to start and he was able to begin the very next day. He told me the job would take 2 days and it did. Wham, Bam he was done. Great job. Paid attention to all the details. Was constantly cleaning up after himself. We couldn't ask for more. The finished job is beautiful. Today the carpet guys came to finish one last detail, which was re-stretching the bedroom carpet... perfect finish. Bottom line - "Location Carpet" is the only company I will call or recommend for any kind of floor coverings. If you have a project give them a call.

The time from the estimate to the installation was super quick which we really appreciated. The basement is once again a comfortable place to be. Chuck, Craig and Craig have decades of professional flooring experience among them and are true craftsmen. They were very friendly, respectful of our home and treated our furniture and belongings with kid gloves. The results are the ultimate proof. Before the LVF, we had a mash up of tile and carpeting. We love that now the flooring flows so seamlessly from room to room and really opens up our entire first floor. The Carpet Company had previously laid carpeting in another area of our house and we were so very pleased with that experience. Great carpet selection and super service and installation then as well.
