I had my Mazda 2011 hatch interior detailed for the first time the other day! I got my quote here and they were able to come out and detail my car early the next week. I also told my uncle to use Kenyon that same day since he was looking for an interior detail for his new used car also. Zach was our detailer and he was very friendly and thorough. He took his time on my car even though I cleaned it fully before he came, because I wanted the detailer to get all the nooks and crannys that I couldn't get with my supplies. He was able to lift a big stain from my trunk and made the backseat look like new again! I love that they use UV protectant on all hard surfaces after their work to protect from the Arizona sun! I ended up choosing Kenyon because of the reviews on Yelp. They were priced higher than other companies I looked at but I was willing to pay more for better quality service. Unfortunately I was disappointed in the overall experience and won't be using them again nor would I recommend using them and here's why... 1. Quality of Work - I give them 3 stars because they did a pretty good job overall but not when it came to the windows. There were streaks on the inside and honestly there wasn't anything that really stood out for the price I paid. 2. Professionalism - I give them 3 stars here. The guy who came out to do the work was great. Very polite and respectful. However he left his trash (bag of chips, crackers, and water bottle) in my garage. 3. Problem Resolution - Here was my biggest complaint with this company and I would give them zero stars because my problem wasn't resolved. Quick background on my car....it's a 1991 Acura NSX (only 900 were made in the world). I drive it maybe 2-3 times per month. It's a $70K if you can even find one. About a week after the detail I went for a drive and when I got to my destination the front side light came off (picture below). I called to let them know and they said there was nothing they could to because the pictures the took after didn't show it being loose. You could tell it was placed back in the slot so of course it wouldn't show. It was never an issue until after the detail. I was put in contact with Jessica Kenyon whom I assume is the owner and she apologized but said that I need to understand that it's a "business" and she wouldn't take responsibility. She offered to re-clean the windows and possibly give me a discount on my next detail. I asked her when she would be at the shop so I could take it in and she never responded so I'm writing this after 4 days of no response. In closing....for a $70 part they lost a recurring client, a bad review for everyone to see, and a potential referral source for the business. So you tell me if that was a good business decision ‍ After reading the response from the "owner" it just shows the inability to acknowledge or understand customer issues/concerns. He is basically saying I lied about the damages. Considering it's a $70 part on a $70K car it's not something I would bring up if it wasn't an issue. A simple "I apologize and hope we did not cause that. Why don't we give you a credit on your next detail. Would that be fair?" would have sufficed. If you have a Kia or Hundyai by all means take it here but if you have any classic, rare, or expensive car I wouldn't waste your time. read more

I easily booked this appointment online and even confirmed appointment over the phone. The person who helped me was really nice and responsive. The tech showed up on time and was professional and friendly. Only issues was with the job, over $300 and there was the techs finger prints on the car along the door and door jams. The windshield had splatter on it and the back one wasn't cleaned from the inside. Wasn't able to get ALL the pet hair removed but he did his best. Left the windshield wipers on, lots of little things they never do at the car wash but I thought for sure would be done with a detailing. He did take a full 5 hours working on it. I should have inspected more throughly before tech left, that's my fault. read more

I've never had a professional detailing done before so I didn't know what to expect, but for the price that I paid, it should have been absolutely spotless. What I was happy with: seats, floor mats, good vac job thruout, significantly less dust. What I was not happy with: streaky mirrors, tires still had pieces of gravel in tread, and dirt on sidewall. Windshield was not cleaned (inside), still some dust in corners of window fuzzer. Also... I know it's hot and all and you guys worked hard but there was a lingering odor when I got in like, of sweat. The last thing is you had me run my card before I even saw what you guys did. They came to clean my 2017 Silverado. They came once and the technician didn't do a good job. Nothing was shampoo as promised and dirt everywhere. After contacting the company they had another tech come back the following day and he did a better job . Pros- answered and fixed the problems right away. Cons- the first tech lost my screws from my Bedliner. After contacting the company they promised to ask the tech where he left the screws didn't heard anything back. Had to buy all the screws again. Screws not expensive just didn't like that they didn't bother to call or text me back regarding the screws. read more

My husbands truck was an absolute muddy mess on the inside. My technician showed up on time and completely transformed the inside of the truck. It looks brand new! I thought we were doing the outside of the truck as well but there must have been a miscommunication between us. I purchased a car detailing as a gift for my parents. The technician came to their home, and was very pleasant. However, he did a terrible job. Even the most basic things weren't good--like a really streaky windshield. The carpets were not clean, and he never even opened or vacuumed out the back of the van. The car was left with a terrible odor that lingered still days later. My most recent experience with Kenyon leaves a lot to be desired. The quality of the work is marginal at best. The first tech missed quite a few clearcoat contaminants on the trunk and got a considerable amount of compound in the trim. Kenyon quickly volunteered to come out for a re-do, which turned out to be a joke. The tech told me he wasn't allowed to do a full redo and half heartedly used a bottle of Turtle Wax trim cleaner to try to get the compound out of the trim. It did absolutely nothing, and he left a bunch of the trim cleaner residue on the paint along the lower trim. The company's incoherent, rambling response to this review is a perfect summary of the lack of logic and professionalism that seems to be their hallmark. Bottom line: If you care about quality, look elsewhere. read more

They were able to book me next day at my home and spent ample time (3 hours+) washing and detailing inside and out. Scheduled for a mobile ceramic coating- (some sort of coating) What I got was- Over charged for a spot ceramic job on my car. The kid that came out did a spot job on different areas of my car. Next day I noticed dull spots, and areas that were never touched including my entire roof. Well, I don't know others, but he did an amazing job to detailing my car this morning!!! I have recommended him and Kenyon to all friends around me. I am going to post it on FB as well!! When I saw Shaun, I was a bit worried. He looked young. Then about 1.5 hours later, he texted me, he's done. I became very worried! I walking out with regret not listening to my dealer's advice to go to a professional place to detailing my car. I took a deep breath and told myself to point the unclean spot patiently. However, When I checked my car, I couldn't find any places that need redoing. I couldn't believe it, so I checked a few times, eventually found the spot that you still can vaguely see a bit sunblocks. Then Shaun used something to make it looks better. I bought a 'discount' coupon for their interior service and scheduled an appointment. Excellent communication. Got a response, set the appointment, got digital follow-up and confirmation. Since I had an un-find-able odor, I asked if I could be moved up in case of a cancellation - they obliged. And in fact, they did call me up and were able to move my appointment a few days earlier! The day came and I got more communication - but this time, there was a problem... one of their trucks broke down. They were very apologetic and I could tell that they were concerned with my response. But crap happens and I was able to accommodate the time change and they were willing to shift locations (from work to home) to make it work for me. I can imagine some people would be put off by such an event, but they jumped through hoops to take care of me. Finally, they show up and got to work. Gave me a time frame, but due to the setting sun and loss of light, they felt the need to get additional manpower (actually womanpower in this case) to finish on time. I was VERY impressed that they brought in more people to make the job happen as promised. This is not something you see often and it made me feel like a valued customer. The end result was amazing - so much so that even my teenage son was impressed! (best compliment to their service!!!) I HIGHLY recommend Kenyon detailing... Macaroni, make up and soda spills still left untouched after first trip AND return correction trip to address these lingering issues. The owner said he WOULDN'T have sent out someone to fix the issues for a 3rd time- I didn't want 3 trips, I wanted it done correctly in 1. Check out the pictures. They were all from after 2 people had supposedly detailed my car. I could use water and a napkin to wipe off the makeup/smudges/residue but apparently 2 of their employees couldn't accomplish this. Don't use this place. Pay a little more and get what you're expecting. Just had my car cleaned-- Kid was super nice, he showed up a little late because he was given the wrong address, they honored a price on their website that I later noticed was expired- So kudos to them for that, they didn't honor the $20 off for following their social media, as advertised on Yelp- No discount on Promotional Pricing (Quote received on Yelp wasn't stated as promotional). My car needed to be vacuumed BAAAAD, I also have a 4 year old, so parents you know my car looked like a napkin- He vacuumed it out well, I won't say great because I could have done this myself but was expecting some professional grade equipment to whip my car into shape that I am too lazy to buy. I won't say I'm impressed with the level of "detailing" because I'm extremely doubtful the seats were shampooed, I've been inspecting and scratching off crumbs and spills off the seats since he left. Also came out with a wet paper towel and wiped off some of the "stains" that a DEEP cleaning of the seats wasn't able to remove.... A lot of it was make up, and as ladies you know- If Bare minerals can't resist my sweat, it wouldn't resist a deep shampooing. The pictures should speak for themselves- I wasn't expecting a brand new car's interior- But my expectation was that they do a better job than what I could achieve on my own. They did do a great job with the actual detail.... BUT - I was told it would take 3 1/2 hours. It took 5 1/2 hours. It's a good thing I had no appointments scheduled the day I took my car in. It wasted my whole day. When I picked up my car, I wasn't given seat covers or anything, and drive home 25 minutes sitting in soaking wet seats. The detailing was good.
