I walked in today for the third day in a row to pick up items that were being serviced with a list of 4 other items I needed to buy. Because they are so unpleasant, I picked up my service item and will drive 10 miles to another hardware store to buy the other things just on principle. It's a small town, take care of your customers.

The guys at the counter were very helpful when I showed them what I was looking to do, made some suggestions to the type of wood I should use, etc. I purchased a few more hardware items while I was there. I picked up my cut lumber a couple days later and it was exactly what I asked for. Unfortunately I gave them one wrong dimension and when I called, they said they could recut the wood for me (they just had to trim some off the existing pieces). I also ordered some cabinet pieces from them, and if I need lumber cut for another project, I will definitely go back there.
