What a beautiful space! My book club hosted a meeting here and it's such a comfortable environment. The staff were lovely - the owner (manager?) offered us discounts for joining there, let us rearrange the furniture, and we're super friendly. Beautiful location, extremely friendly and helpful staff. The drinks were ok. The matcha was not fully blended (chunks of matcha powder in drink coming through the straw when drinking) and the berry mojito was good but it is advertised as having soda water and I saw them put some sprite in. The flavor of the mojito was good, but I would prefer to not have the added sugar. read more

Yesterday my husband ordered the Iced Adeni and I wasn't a fan -- it tasted a bit watered down and muted flavor wise but my husband liked it. Today he wanted to share but again I wasn't a fan so I got the peach refresher and him the Adeni. So here are a few complaints: - peach refresher is Torrani peach concentrate and literally Nestle water bottle with 80% ice. If I'm paying 6$ for this at least put a bit of umph or pazazz -- will not buy again, I will make it at home. - boycott nestle pls lol - I ordered and there was only one worker but no line, I thought after my order he was making my drink but 2 pick up orders came in so he kinda took a hot minute. Not fully his fault but just slow service. - I ordered the iced adeni but the worker and I could not remember if I said iced when I mentioned it as he started brewing the hot tea. - he was super kind 100/10 service in that he offered an "adeni latte" which should be on the menu bc i liked it way more than the adeni chai but my husband found it too sweet. I've tried their signature Kenz latte and hot & iced mocha, along with some cinnamon buns and they always taste excellent, always freshly roasted and some of the strongest coffee I've had around here. Menu is simple and creative with lattes, espressos, and teas. As for the interior, it's a somewhat cozy environment, definitely on the modern side. Very comfy chairs and tables for 2 - 4. The manager is very friendly and will tell you about the different drinks and you can see them making it too! I'll continue to come back especially when they release seasonal drinks! read more

My friend and I stopped in for coffee to warm up and pick us up. The decor and ambience are comfortable and modern with standard tables for 2-3 people, some tables have a booth seat against the the wall for 5-6 people , 3 taller counter seats (that don't look very comfortable) and a couch and 2 armchairs with a coffee table in front. We got lattes and they were good, priced $5-6. There were other menu options that sounded tasty and a little fancy but we went classic. They also had desserts that were simpler but looked delicious; we had just had dinner so no room for sweets like: cheesecake slices, large croissants, cakes that were shaped like fruits with glossy glazes. No steps to enter and 1 dual gender mobility accessible restroom. The business was clean in the main sitting area but the restroom was lacking. Toilet needed attention, there were bottles of bleach cleansers basically at your feet and the trash can overflowing. The overall experience was okay, but because I don't live around this area I probably won't return. read more

Wanted to try a new place so found this pretty close to home. Went here for some mid-day caffination. Mom got the iced pistachio latte and I got the iced Kenz latte. Both were good. Mom got a piece of baklava and I got the honeycomb. Both were good. Prices are pretty steep, so it's not an every day sort of place. The inside is nice and airy and probably has the best AC of any business I've been at so far this summer. read more

The pistachio latte was so rich and tasty and it was my favorite! The adeni chai was their best-selling and it did not disappoint. They also offer a variety of dessert and I got the pistachio milk cake. It was delicious and not too sweet. The service was excellent and the staff was friendly, they even gave me a 20% discount because it was my first visit! this place has such a clean and classy aesthetic. Brightly lit, small coffee house that has sweet and savory snacks. The service was great. The selection of food and the manner in serving coffee is different versus the other Yemeni coffee houses nearby. We had the mofawar coffee in a pot, sabaya, and a piece of chocolate milk cake. The mofawar and the milk cake were exceptionally. The Sabaya was a great savory snack that became a great sweet snack with the addition of honey. I look forward to coming back again. read more

Went here January 2025. Visited from Lansing (we enjoy finding small business coffee shops in surrounding areas). The employee behind the counter was extremely friendly, greeting us and asking if we needed any assistance. When we said it was our first time, he offered lots of advice and asked about our preferences and made awesome suggestions! Service was 100/10. The coffee was good and the pastries were amazing! We stopped in here to have coffee and it was amazing. The place is absolutely beautiful. The staff is wonderful and the coffee is excellent. Not what I was expecting. Nothing like other coffee venues like Starbucks. They only sell specialty blends and brews. You can't just order a normal, plain 'ol basic coffee with cream and sugar. They do have a good selection of pastries though. read more
