I scheduled an appointment in July for April after hearing really great things from a few friends. When your new in town word of mouth and reviews go along way. Fast forward to the day of the appointment in August the owner said he was sick and couldn't make it which during the pandemic is totally fine however he never followed up via text, or email and it's two months later.. I would've appreciated him following up and rescheduling the appointment he canceled instead he responded two months later saying "thanks for updating your phone number". We tried Kenzo Mobile Grooming for the first time yesterday. We were extremely pleased with Aaron and the service he provided. He groomed our Big Buddy so well, and took lots of special care with him. Buddy is a Border Collie/Great Pyrenees Mix so is a big boy, he is a senior and doesn't see or hear well and has arthritis in his back legs and hips. We decided to stop taking him to his long-time groomer because of the stress of the car ride, as well as having to be in and out of the kennel waiting to be groomed and then waiting for us to pick him up. He has a hard time getting up and down at this point. But our groomer recommended trying a mobile groomer for Buddy and that's how we found Aaron! We have used Kenzo grooming in the past and had a wonderful experience. In August we had an appointment and he cancelled 1 hour prior because a family member had covid and he'd been with them earlier in the week so he wanted to get tested. I understood this, no problem. We didn't get an offer to reschedule but I just let it go. I made another appointment on October, he texted the day of and asked to move it to later in the week, I agreed. He texted 2 hours prior to the appt that he was running early and if he could come then. I was in a meeting and unable to respond for an hour at which time I told him it was fine to come on over.
