I have to say-- first things first-- their coffee is AMAZING! I ordered a latte with pistachio and macadamia flavoring with oat milk and it was soooooo YUMMY. Rich and silky, with a perfect layer of foam. For my breakfast entree, I ordered steak and eggs, medium and sunny side. They didn't offer a whole lot of sauce options but they did have ketchup and hot sauce (Sriracha). Overall good experience and will come back when I visit again!!

We walked in and the place was completely empty, the lady greeted us and quickly took our orders. I ordered a ham, egg and cheese sandwich and asked for the yolk to be slightly runny with a café con leche. My mom a medianoche (Cuban on sweet bread made in house) / My aunt ordered a pastrami. Each came to the table a few minutes later, pipping hot even though a line had formed immediately after sitting down. I knew that was a good sign. All three were each so flavorful, hot, fresh and filling. My sandwich was so satisfying with it's cheesy-egg goodness that the girls wanted to come back the following day! Fast forward to the next day, we all ordered the same ham, egg and cheese sandwich but my aunt wanted it on pan sobao (sweet bread) and both versions were delicious! But they make, hands down, the BEST Cuban sandwich I've ever had. Ask for "pan sobao" -- a slightly sweeter and softer kind of bread. Great coffee too! It's a little too far from San Juan, unless you're headed towards Arecibo to do some tourism, in which case, this is an excellent locals stop on your way. :-) Disclaimer: Please remember Puerto Rico is not big on Yelp yet, since it's small enough for any local to find restaurants, therefore business owners don't advertise a lot and locals have no real need for it.
