Its a fine dining restaurant so the restaurant is really upscale but they also made the restaurant a bit cozy at the same time. The service was amazing as well. Im sorry I forgot his name but he paid really good attention and constantly checked on us especially for my allergies. The food was some of the most delicious food ive ever tasted, especially the risotto (10/10). There was one dish that my girlfriend didnt like but they went immediately to get her something new. Im only giving a 4 star because the dessert i had did have something I was allergic to despite reassurance which cause swollen lips and throwing up outside. Im not sure if the dessert was pre-made but having the allergens directly on the menu may help. Otherwise I completely recommend trying here.

We expected the price would have been comparable to that in New York City. The total cost was almost $80 USD.

My wife and I had breakfast at Chocobar Cortés in Old San Juan, and it was outstanding!…read more We ordered the Huge Breakfast and shared it. Everything was delicious. The scrambled eggs were incredibly smooth and buttery, the pancakes were fluffy and tasted great with the chocolate syrup, and the chicken strips were perfectly crispy. The Mallorca bread was a nice Puerto Rican touch and paired well with the meal. The sweet hot chocolate was rich and comforting without being overly sweet. You can tell chocolate is their specialty. The atmosphere was excellent--cool and comfortable inside, with reggae music playing in the background. As a Bob Marley fan, I especially enjoyed hearing songs from Bob, Stephen, and Ziggy Marley while we ate. The staff was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service from start to finish. If you're visiting San Juan and looking for a great breakfast spot, I highly recommend Chocobar Cortés. We will definitely return on our next trip to Puerto Rico!

AMBIANCE You're in the city so it's an eventful area. There's street parking and nearby lots but your best to carpool or rideshare. As for the vibes, I'm told in the daytime it's a local marketplace that's filled with vendors and other fresh produce booths. It's pretty chill with a nice neighborhood feel. As for the evening, this is where to turn up and get a pulse of Puerto Rico parties. EXPERIENCE Go to your bar, pick your vibe from community, club excessive, lounge feel, live music or etc. Drink choices rangeThey have it here! Plenty of photo op spots and good energy. I was here peak of the #DTMF era so it was magical to see people come together with a speaker and a cowbell. A local put into perspective how this was way better than paying for an expensive hotel party. It was truly a 1 of 1 experience. TL;DR OVERALL 5 Stars. It doesn't get any better. There's a reason why this space is dropped in lyrics and people's recommendations because this is the heart of the people. So don't be shy! Grab a drink, walk around, catch a dance, and be safe! TIPS: * Don't just settle for one spot. Be sure to explore around to experience the entire Santurce experience!
