My vehicle was backed into and the tail hatch back was bent in a hit n run but thanks to a witness…read morethe guy was caught and his insurance paid for the worst example of craftsmanshit ive ever seen from them. up until now they were top dog but either i pissed them off or they have morons working there. there was a separate part that attached to the tail gate hatch that was discolored like it been in the sun or they buffed to finish off it. looked like total crap. worse then the actual damage as to why i took it there. so i went right back in and unknowingly got the owner who came out so i could show him and first he said it wasn't part of the lift gate so them i opened it to show him it was, and then he said it was held on by 2 rivets and the original unblemished in perfect condition was still on the old lift gate and they could change it right now. ( instead of it already been changed before they called me saying it was done) . so i waited a half hour and when they brought it back out the vehicle was now full of tiny scratches that were not here before. then i noticed the body lines didn't match up on the tail gate to quarter panel which the owner mentioned it was a american car . after going thru the pictures taken when it was first dropped of it showed those scratches where not there when i brought it in. the owner told me to bring it back the coming Monday as it was Friday afternoon then, and he would get it fixed. so all weekend i stewed thinking about it and come Monday i took it back . then i kept getting these survey emails so i eventually responded and pretty much described the crap job honestly that they tried to sell me. 2 days later i get a call the vehicle is done and they read the survey which they were not happy about. when i went to pick it up it looked good but i only was looking a the back.after i got it home in the garage i noticed a new dent coming from the inside pointing out on the middle of the driver side quarter panel. already fed up i figured im gonna sell it as i do not trust it anymore.. well tonight after its been sitting in my garage since i pulled it in then, i noticed the finish ground off on the top of the door panel where it meets the roof. I will never take a vehicle or recommend them to anyone now. either they hired a moron or someones bent on discouraging people from trusting them to do the job right. unfrikenbelievable is the word. seems every time i return it to have the job done right it comes back with other damage. what was one a accident free impeccable body now looks like crap. I will now have to find a different body shop to fix there quality workmanshit. im not even gonna go back to show them this. and to think i felt a little bad with my review . not! its actually pretty sad.

I will never take my car anywhere else except for Enders Auto Repair. I had the best experience…read more The exhaust system on my 2007 Kia Sorento was loud and getting louder. So I figured I better get it looked at. I heard such good things about Enders so I decided to give them a call. Rich answered and I explained what I was dealing with. He said they could get me in to look at it that day! Once there and after they inspected it, Rich had good news. It was only a crack and they could repair it with a piece of new pipe. (YES!! I didn't need a whole new muffler or exhaust system!) He gave me the price which was WAY under what I thought it would be - completely do-able - and he said it would take about 40 min., they had to order the pipe from the local part store. People - it didn't even take 10 min before the pipe was walking through the door. They repaired the exhaust system quickly and even took off the rusty hitch when I asked them to - and didn't charge me for it! To the ladies out there having to take on car maintenance by them selves, let me just say - these guys are the real deal. They are honest, kind and just all around wonderful. I am a new resident of St. Joseph and I had to find a local auto shop to handle a number of items…read morethat needed fixing on my car. I could not agree more with the previous comments here on Yelp. Matt is honest, patient and willing to work with a customer on whatever issues that needs to be resolved. I knew what had happened to my car - severe front wheel misalignment (too many potholes encountered) that it caused my front tires to wear out unevenly on the inside... it caused a flat - and Matt listened carefully and provide an open window when the shop can take a look. The shop made every effort to find the parts I needed (Volvo S80 - Lower Ball Joints needed replacements and broken windshield wiper pump) and they were able to acquire all the parts and completed the work while I was at the office. The car feels much smoother and I have no fear of my tires being worn out unevenly since the shop had also done the front wheel alignment after installing the lower ball joints. My Volvo S80 has over 150,000 miles and thanks to Matt's shop, it will see more miles in the near future. I should also mention that their prices were very reasonable and were lower than what I normally receive for a foreign car repair.

This meant by choosing Tapper for the repairs, the entire claim process would be easiest. And I was all for that! (There were other preferred shops in town but this was closest to my home) I had never been to Tapper body shop and honestly had never heard of it. After getting off the phone with insurance I gave them a call about dropping my car off. The already had my information from MEEMIC and said I could bring it in anytime. Dropped it off later that day. Manager Craig, was very knowledgeable and friendly. Repaid took about two weeks, the promised time frame. My car is now back to like new condition :) The entire process was so easy!
