I purchased a 2020 Nissan Murano this past June. A month later I hear the rear brakes squeaking when I reverse the car. I braked hard twice and noticed a metal-on-metal grinding sound from the front. Purchased the car with only 35k miles on it. Looked around my area and found Pro Muffler & Brake Shop. Read all the reviews and I was impressed. So I reached out through Yelp. Received a response within 1 hour or less. Talked with them and they told me to bring it in. Took the car in. Walked around the car checked out what was going on and then I set an appointment for the next week for a diagnostic. They took pictures and I agreed to move forward with replacing front and rear brake pads. Came with a warranty of 24k miles/or 24 mos. They offered the bundle deal which I thought was a great deal. Although I am a woman and show up by myself, I know a little bit about cars, and got a pretty good idea about the current market value of parts, labor, and tax, these guys gave an honest quote. Dropped off the car at 9 a.m. and they texted back at 12:30 p.m. that the car was ready. I will use them again and definitely will refer them to others Thank you for the great customer service. A back trim piece kept falling off and I knew I was doing something wrong They took the time to look show me what the problem was and how to repair, but I need to get the part. I left a good review for Pro Brake and Muffler a few years ago and wanted to add another after getting new brakes on all four wheels a couple weeks ago. They are an honest business with great service! I have used their services many times over the years. My car was making a horribly loud sound so I took it to the dealership. They said it was something with my muffler and quoted me a very high price. I called around to a few places and Pro Muffler was able to get me in the next day. They were so helpful and allowed me to see what was broken on my car and fixed it for a very reasonable price. They also noticed a leak and thought maybe it was my transmission. They called the transmission place on my behalf and offered to take it there for me but the place couldn't get me in right away. A great place to get minor car repairs completed in the St. Joe, Benton Harbor area. Had an Acura that had a missing or failed gasket in the exhaust. Part and labor to complete $70.00. When was the last time you had a car repaired for under $100. ? Had a Honda that had an exhaust heat shield that had broken from it's mount and was somewhat annoying. Brought it to Pro Muffler, they threw it up on the rack and cut it off........No Charge. GMC Suburban front and rear brake job - $480.00 They are good people that are confident about what they do, and at a fair price. I'll keep taking my car there. read more

Where do I begin I guess I'll start by Making a big mistake and taking My 1969 Jeep CJ5 to pro muffler and breakshop Being assured my brakes were fine after leaving there I had a wreck with my Jeep break failure to start it all off luckily it happened in a drive-through restaurant line Thank goodness not out on the highway not where school busses are dropping kids off or stoplights in town thank GodSo my 2nd mistake was taking it back to there It needed a new master Cylinder they installed it After a big run around on how they can't get parts for my Jeep when I can get parts in 2 days from Willie Kaiser but that's beside the point they replaced master's Cylinder Everything seemed to be in order but on my way back home I notice I have no turn signals or emergency flashers so about a week of going through fuse After fuse about $30 worth I'm told go through the wiring oh and did I find what was the problem The mechanic smashed my whole wiring harness in the master cylinder cap So that being said it's short it out everything $450 for a new wire harness for my Jeep they're still yet to respond to me on this deal I paid them $1400 for them to screw my Jeep up so that's all I have to say about that place so if I were you I would think twice about taking anything there and 2nd of all do a little more investigating on where you take your vehicle these days read more

They explained what was wrong before they fixed it and gave me an estimate before starting the work. I was able to walk in and walk out in less than 40 minutes. The price was accurate for the work. BEST. SERVICE. EVER! This is the best place to get repairs done, they are so professional and so helpful. I needed a brake line replaced and decided to get everything done here because of how experienced they seemed. I got my truck towed and ended up there at about 7:55am and they had my truck in a bay the second they opened at 8:00am! They replaced my back rotor, calipers, back brake pads, and front brake line in about 4 hours; AMAZING! I drive an '02 F250 and my brakes stop me instantly! If you want an incompetent overpriced repair and overall poor job, this is the shop to go to.

This morning my husband dropped of his SUV to get an alignment because it was pulling to the right He got a call about 25 minutes later telling him that the right side strut was blown, so an alignment wouldn't do any good and quoted him $900 for a repair...nope, we have a warranty, so he took it to the dealership. The dealership found nothing wrong with the strut, but the transmission pan was leaking. We had to pay an extra $100 for a diagnosis (because there was not a problem with the strut) and an extra $40 above what Pro charges for an alignment, because it does need one. My guess is the mechanic at Pro saw transmission fluid on the strut and immediately thought it was a blown strut and didn't take the time to look further. This is disappointing to me, as we have ALWAYS had good service, but we won't be returning. read more
