I have an AirTouch technique in my hair, and since the salon does not offer AirTouch services, I wanted to confirm in advance that we could achieve a similar look using balayage or highlights. I was assured we could proceed. At the appointment, I waited a bit (which I understand happens in Miami). Once seated, the stylist examined my hair carefully and suggested doing a half head of highlights first to see how my fine, chemically damaged hair would react. I appreciated the caution and explained my previous negative experience with another stylist. When I left the salon, I was happy. The result wasn't identical to my inspiration photos, but I felt good about it. However, after washing my hair once, I noticed obvious orange foil spots and poorly blended areas near my ears. I immediately contacted the salon, and to their credit, they accommodated me the next day for a correction. Unfortunately, the solution offered was to darken my roots to cover the orange spots. This left me questioning why I paid $450 to lighten my roots, only to have them darkened again. Now, just a little over two weeks later, my hair already looks grown out because of the darker roots. For the price point and reputation of this salon, I expected better execution and a longer-lasting result. I truly wanted to love the experience, but overall, I'm very disappointed.

I recently moved to Miami from NY and the humidity in the summer is intense. My hair would start to curl and frizz the minute I would walk out my apt. My friend recommended that I get a keratin treatment. As a guy with medium/short hair length, I didn't think this was applicable to my hair. After searching online, I came across Keratin Beauty Inc on Yelp so I emailed Diana and I'm very glad I did. After asking her multiple questions about the treatment (which she would respond to right away,) I booked an appointment. Diana was very professional and thoroughly explained the entire process, gave me tips on how to make the keratin treatment last, and answered any questions that I had before, during and after the appointment. She was very knowledgeable on the keratin treatment, but more importantly she made me feel comfortable before proceeding and I knew I could trust her with my hair, as this was my first time getting the treatment. The results were amazing. I couldn't have been happier. My hair feels like silk, very manageable and NO FRIZZ. I will definitely be booking another appointment and without a doubt I would highly recommend her to my close friends and family. 5 stars . read more

Anny was absolutely amazing. I first had the One-day formula done, which did reduce my frizz and curl, but not much since my curly hair is very thick and coarse. When I told Anny I wasn't pleased with the results, she offered to redo a stronger treatment with no additional charge, the Mocha. Now I couldn't be more happy with how my hair turned out. It is not pin-strait, I have sort of beach waves which is what I wanted anyways. My frizz is nearly nonexistent now though which was my main goal. I couldn't be more pleased with the service, it was done in the comfort of my home and I was able to watch my show while getting my keratin done. Definitely will be continuing to get my keratin done by this company. read more

I have had dry and damaged hair from hair relaxers and constantly straightening my hair for years. I have very frizzy and difficult to manage hair. It wasn't until I found Keratin Beauty that I finally had hope for healthy and strong hair. Anny was excellent at providing the in-home service. She was on time, did a great job at applying the treatment, explained everything thoroughly and even gave me tips on what to do to maintain healthy hair after the treatment. It has now been 3-4 months since my first treatment and my hair is more manageable and healthier than it's ever been. I am so happy to have found this company!! Living in Miami, I would still have frizzy and unmanageable hair even when I straightened it. Being always on the go, I was trying to find something that would leave my hair looking nice without a high level of formaldehyde. This is it! Now, just by air drying my hair, it looks like I spent an hour to blow drying it. I'm always on the go and I love how now I don't have to think about my hair twice, and it always looks amazing. After moving to Miami for medical school, the humidity amplified my frizz to a crazy degree. LUCKILY, i stumbled upon Keratin Beauty Mobile Services on Yelp and all I can say is thank god. My first time doing this treatment, I have very straight and frizzy hair. After this it was just as straight but not at all frizzy! It's life changing I washed and out I go, I went on vacation in and out the pool and beaches and my hair was perfectly fine no frizz so excited. This also lasted me a long time I waited to see how long it actually lasts. The last time I did it was October 24th with Daisy and now March I will definitely do it again for my second time. The BEST service & staff EVER!!! I got the Mocha Silk Keratin Treatment. My hair is naturally very curly and frizzy- after this treatment it has been pin straight for months and the frizz has not come back!! Diana (the owner) responds almost immediately. Annie was the specialist that did my treatment. They are both so sweet and extremely attentive. Met Anny this past week for a Lasio hair treatment. She was simply amazing, she was super meticulous with the product and processing my hair. I've had this treatment done many times before but this time was fabulous. My hair came out super straight and incredibly soft. The Lasio product itself does wonders in rebuilding my hair, and I'm a heavy blonde highlighter that's leaves my hair dry and brittle. I can't rave enough about the service and the product. Diana came to my house and was so kind and personable. Before the Mocha Silk (I have kinky curly thick hair) my hair was extremely brittle and damaged from perming. I've been doing keratin on my hair since I was 15, but this is by far the best keratin I've ever had done! Diana is great and the results exceeded my expectations. I usually do relaxers to control my curly roots which caused my hair a lot of damage and breakage but since I started doing the keratin I have no need for the relaxers anymore. Before going natural I was a customer of Nennen and frequented her every two weeks for my hair appointments. Nennen has growing hands in my opinion, but you have to make sure you are eating healthy and taking the proper vitamins to nourish your hair, skin, and nails also. Nennen is not a fan of applying heat so, she pretty much this is the procedure: 1. roller set 2. places you under the hair dyer. 3. once hair dried, rollers are removed 4. scalp is greased 5. and hair is wrapped around and hair pins are placed Its suggested for hair maintenance to come every 2 weeks for wash and hair treatment. A relaxer depending on your hair type me, every six weeks to prevent any hair breakage. Nennen also has other services 1. eye brow shaping 2. finger waves, scrunch, french rolls, ponytails, 3. hair extensions 4. color rinsing I am very satisfied with her work, her pricing are very reasonable and competitive. There's also breakage from years of highlighting, and all those short pieces make a frizzy halo around my part and hairline. I used to try to tame it with a flat iron and hairspray, which just created perpetual damage and frizz. The smoothing treatment didn't change the texture of my hair or the wave, it just added smoothness and tamed the frizzy short pieces. This is my second treatment and I've seen so much improvement, growth, and reduction in breakage. My first treatment lasted 3 months.

I really like that I don't need to talk to anyone or wait for a response to book my appointment and can easily modify an appointment if I need to. . The salon is clean, calm, and there's not a lot gossiping! ;) I can really relax when I go there. They have several different treatments for hair and scalp care such as a scalp detox and a variety of conditioning options. They don't just style your hair, they care for your hair. I'm moving toward growing my hair out naturally soon (no heat) and I think I will still come to Lelene's for treatments and conditioning. The only con for me is the drive from Miami is kinda long but otherwise, highly recommend!

Screenshot…read moreis attached I was shocked at my hair trauma experience as well as inappropriate and disgusting behavior by the staff. Especially after the reviews I saw online. I had scheduled an appointment with Miguel to get JUST a partial highlight, as I informed him I have K tip extensions that I get taken care of elsewhere for years. The whole appointment Miguel is asking me to go on dates and telling me he could just do my hair at my house next time. That behavior was actually the least of my concerns. When my hair was done, I left the salon with normal highlight touch up, at least I thought. My hair looked slightly thin but I didn't think much of it since it was styled. The next day my 25 inch extensions had zero volume, and the beach waves were completely gone. I texted Miguel the next day asking him if he put a hair masque on my extensions and he told me "yes I put a conditioning mask and didn't charge you". I have NEVER had any extension problems before because I know as a client, not to use this type of treatment on k tips. For the Slovak K Tip extensions I have, they are very very thick and volumous and conditioning treatments thin and ruin them. I was NEVER asked about the mask and never gave consent for this. I was not even being told that I was getting a treatment put into my hair. When I called the salon to speak with the "manager" Angie, I told her what happened, asking for a resolution to my $3100 extensions that were ruined. She interrupted me several times saying "are you done talking yet" then hung up on me out of her anger for not understanding how expensive my extensions are. It has been only 5 days since this appointment and I have now had 7 -K tip extensions come out of my head as well. The reviews on here are great for when they actually do their job, but the unprofessional approach and lack of accountability and to make things right, is where this salon lacks their true credibility. I would say solely after this type of interaction, their licenses are at risk. UPDATE: it has been 12 days after my appointment and I have lost a total of 15 extensions from my hair, in the last 12 days. Gleam also messaged me on Instagram to take down my reviews to give me my refund on my highlights

The hairdresser and I were in a disagreement about the COMPLETELY IRRATIONAL price she tried to charge me for blow-drying my shoulder length, wavy hair.. She was overcharging me and became very defensive when I tried to negotiate with her. She had threatened to call the police on me when I told her I was willing to give her $20 less than what she was asking for. Once she had the cash in her possession, she proceeded to SMACK ME IN MY FACE AND RIP THE HAIR NET OFF MY HEAD AS I WAS SITTING IN THE CHAIR UNABLE TO DEFEND MYSELF. When I had got up, the 2 other hair dressers were surrounding me and would not let me leave, blocking me from the door. The hairdresser attempted to throw water on me. I had to call the police to try to get myself out. The by-standers in the salon did not intervene or try to help as I was at point cornered and helpless. As I had finally found a way, one of the hairdressers ruined my hair by spraying water. I WILL be pressing charges against the hairdresser and there WILL be consequences. This type of behavioral is ABSURD, UNPROFESSIONAL AND ALARMING. AS A CUSTOMER, PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE TYPE OF WOMEN RUNNING THIS SALON. This type of behavior in a hair salon is completely unheard of and EMBARASSING to say the least. I was not disrespectful to anyone, I never cursed or raised my voice. I was not aggressive towards her and I left peacefully. This is NOT how you treat a PAYING customer. A complaint will also be made to the state cosmetology department and I will be following up with the North Miami PD.

I wanted a butterfly hair cut. As soon as I walked in they asked if I wanted coffee. They made me an iced coffee on the spot. The vibe is so cozy. Everybody was so friendly. In total I paid $120 for hair cut and blow dry. Hands down this has been the best blow dry I have had in Miami. She did it perfect ! Exactly what I wanted . Volume. They also have packages for blow dries that are a steal . They offer hair treatments as well like keratin and hydrating . I am definitely coming back ! I think I found my go to hair salon in Miami.
