She did a full head of highlights with toner and I left with my hair looking really healthy and shiny with a beautiful shade that really complimented my very pale skin tone. Once she had the cash in her possession, she proceeded to SMACK ME IN MY FACE AND RIP THE HAIR NET OFF MY HEAD AS I WAS SITTING IN THE CHAIR UNABLE TO DEFEND MYSELF. When I had got up, the 2 other hair dressers were surrounding me and would not let me leave, blocking me from the door. The hairdresser attempted to throw water on me. I had to call the police to try to get myself out. The by-standers in the salon did not intervene or try to help as I was at point cornered and helpless. As I had finally found a way, one of the hairdressers ruined my hair by spraying water. I WILL be pressing charges against the hairdresser and there WILL be consequences. This type of behavioral is ABSURD, UNPROFESSIONAL AND ALARMING. AS A CUSTOMER, PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE TYPE OF WOMEN RUNNING THIS SALON. This type of behavior in a hair salon is completely unheard of and EMBARASSING to say the least. I was not disrespectful to anyone, I never cursed or raised my voice. I was not aggressive towards her and I left peacefully. This is NOT how you treat a PAYING customer. During the process, the stylist caused my hair to become extremely tangled, knotted, and even started falling out. Another customer in the salon became concerned and had to step in to tell the stylist to stop. She even used her own personal conditioner to try to help untangle my hair because it had become so badly matted. Despite this, my hair could not be properly fixed. Instead of apologizing, the stylist became frustrated and said she "hates people with problems" and claimed my hair was probably in braids for too long, which was not true. I came to the salon prepared for the service. What made the situation worse is that no one apologized and the salon still charged me, even though I had to leave with conditioner in my hair and it completely undone because they could not detangle it. The experience was humiliating and very unprofessional. I trusted them with my hair and left feeling embarrassed and distressed. I hope the salon improves its professionalism and treatment of customers. I would not recommend this salon based on my experience.
