There's not a dull moment on the ride, lots of hills and trees to maneuver through. We even got to see some deer up close and personal. For example, Bamboozle is made with beer from Roundabout, how cool is that? My favorite is Cowboy Coffee which is hand rubbed with Commonplace Coffee. My favorite Goat Rodeo cheese name is "More Cowbell" (actually a cow's milk cheese). Hilarious, you might buy this for the name, but the cheese is extraordinary, too. But you can enjoy the festive vibes and decor without doing the whole experience if you are short on time or cash. Their food is delicious! The best way to describe it is homemade comfort food! The friendly staff is knowledgeable and will answer any questions you might have about what certain things are or about ingredients. You can also eat fairly affordably, especially for the portion sizes and homemade, quality ingredients. The shop has a variety of souvenir type items (shirts, magnets, mugs, stuffed animals) but also local products like cheese and candy. They also have bakery items and tasty ice cream. The total price was $11. On the next day, we ate the brookie and the cherry pie at home. They tasted pretty good. Our group was staying in the main house and we were in one of the upstairs rooms. It was about what I was expecting. Three bunk beds. The one negative is that it was HOT in there. It would have been great to have a fan, The food was delicious (noodles and ground beef, sausage/egg casserole and chili). A highlight for me was the hayride. Probably because we all had a chance to be together and it was a nice long ride The only reason I didn't give them five stars was because they couldn't accommodate larger riders. I totally understand that they are live animals and can't take excessive weight. But it was still disappointing that I wasn't able to join my daughter for the ride.

We were a little early for check-in and everyone was so welcoming while we waited. We stayed in a standard queen bed room, which had a fireplace and large closet and bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. We were there for a wedding and the venue coordinator, Zach, did a great job with making sure everything was set up. There was another party going on the evening we stayed the night and you could hear it clearly from our room. Thin walls and floors is the downside of staying in a historical building.

I stayed in one of the king bed rooms the night before a wedding and it was a wonderful experience. The room got a little cold at night, so we decided to sleep with the fireplace on. The fireplace in the hotel room was a nice, cozy touch. If you are handicapped, or have trouble with stairs, definitely let the hotel staff know. There is one elevator in the building that only goes to level 2. The venue coordinator for the wedding was also fantastic to work with!
